The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Monday evening that after an investigation, it has concluded it will not pursue a warrant or indictment against Donald Trump.

The sheriff's office released a statement on the matter:

"With respect to the potential of lodging charges of inciting a riot against Donald J. Trump, or the Trump Committee, we have reviewed the evidence accumulated, and consulted with the detectives involved.

The Sheriff's Office legal counsel advised, and the Sheriff concurred, that the evidence does not meet the requisites of the law as established under the relevant North Carolina statute and case law to support a conviction of the crime of inciting a riot.

Accordingly, we will not be seeking a warrant or indictment against Mr. Trump or his campaign for these offenses.

While other aspects of our investigation are continuing, the investigation with regard to Mr. Trump and his campaign has been concluded, and no charges are anticipated."

Watching the news-- usually CNN or Fox-- I often feel that most of what they report would be funny-- hilarious-- if so much were not at stake. Tonight Megan spent easily 10 minutes on whether a Trump associate actually put his hand on a Breitbart reporter. That is-- you need to understand the seriousness of this-- he closed his grip around her forearm and stopped her forward motion as she approached Donald Trump. Yes!

She tweeted a photo of the resultant injuries, which were clearly visible as sort of slightly darker skin where his grip... slightly darkened her skin. Kelly was clearly incensed. This was obviously more evidence of Trump's brutality!

Next we'll have a report that as Donald Trump left the podium, he farted.

Megan: Can you say definitively that the man who aspires to the presidency actually passed gas as he left the podium?

Breathless reporter: Yes, Megan, I can report that tonight. A-- what is a delicate way to put this?-- well, a fart has a distinctive sound? And I'm sure I heard a fart sound.

Megan: Can anyone else corroborate that? I mean, if Donald Trump is so dishonoring the office he seeks that as a candidate he would do something so... vulgar and...well, it's more brutality , isn't it? I mean, were you able to breathe?

I'm betting Trump takes Ohio and Florida by at least 10 points each.

I had an interesting conversation with my Nephew last night. He's a level headed conservative young man at UCLA Law school. He's surrounded by the loonies everywhere he goes.

We discussed Trump and Cruz. He's leaning For Cruz because of the budding Lawyer in him. He laid out some of the establishment talking points against Trump. I pointed that out to him and he was open to my point of view. He had not heard that view point. Basically I told him I'm fed up with politicians.

At the end of the conversation we agreed that we will vote our hearts in the primary and for whoever the Republican candidate is for POTUS.

This is the first election that he will have some skin in the game on the line. It's nice to see he's paying attention.

Forgetting the Trump aspect of this, I'm intrigued about what is going on at Breitbart. Another editor and a reporter resigned today, so that makes five since Friday. Something is going on behind the scenes there because that many people don't quit their jobs for nothing. I'm sure the incident played a part, but it seems to be more about the leadership.

It is real. It is from a show called "The Circus" on showtime. I just watched it about an hour ago. Was astonished that they would show their true colors on a show like that. Made me sick.

I saw Mr Trump at his rally today. I wasn't there. Saw it on tape. These red necks here sounded all full of piss and vinegar as usual. I feel good about Mr Trump winning in NC.

The problem with the polling in Ohio is the sampling.

In a normal election season, polls with most likely voters are typically the best ones.
The current Ohio polling is this way.

The problem is that Trump is supported by a lot of people who typically do not vote or not vote every election cycle.

My guess is that is worth a +5 that should be added to Trump's totals in polling.
I think the likely voters samples are wrong on this one.

I guess tomorrow will tell the tale.
