It seems to me that Fox News is now on the bash Trump train. It seems that today the whole tenor of their shows is not good for Trump.

Well, right now on the West Coast, 60 minutes is running a news-infomercial for Hillary.

They managed to find a bunch of people who are willing to say, "I'm 100% republican but I'm voting Hillary"

Not news, but just a bunch of crap.

Guys.....you're just making yourself old before your time watching that crap. Why help them make money? Turn off Fox and the rest of the MSM. Just turn it off and never turn it on again. I haven't seen a second of that crap in over 2 years and I can't tell you how much I enjoy not having it. It's nothing but propagandist mind rot.

After that stunt with forging El Diablo's military records, why would anyone believe anything they show on 60 Minutes?

I'd Rather watch anything else, just about. No situation comedies, or reality shows, please.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Give them each the weight that you deem appropriate. But, they are VERY contrary to the media's slant......

+1

I haven't watched 60 Minutes, CNN, NBC, CBS, ABC in years. I rarely turn on FoxNews, anymore, since the Romney coverage. My wife and I stopped watching AM local news recently to watch traffic and weather. We get that stuff online now.

I've mentioned this before, but have seen tons of trump yard signs, bumper stickers 3 total for Hillary. NOW, if someone is putting a sign or bumper sticker on you know darn well they will go vote. It seems to me even the diehard democrats aren't that enthused about Hillary......kind of wishy washy about her, half of them at least. It seems Trumps supporters are more fired up and have more heart and will go out and vote. I think if Hillary's feable supporters thinks she's got it, a lot of them won't even to bother going to vote. So I think everyone saying Hillary is going to win (news) are to our benefit.

What blows my mind is that I have spoke to absolutely NOBODY, even some hardcore lefties I work with, that are going to vote for her. So, when I see these reports of "Electoral landslides" for her, I wonder at what level we are being played. Perhaps the fix IS in. No matter.

Our politicians (especially liberal leaning) may have forgotten how to win a actual war but they have perfected the psychological and propaganda part of winning an election.

How do you defeat your political enemy?

1. You make your opposition feel as though they lost before the ballots are even cast.

2. You run a 24/7 propaganda machine to demonized your opponent.

3. You never point out ANY of your candidates flaws.

4. You cover and spin any and all flaws/scandals you candidate may have.

5. You absolutely destroy any hope your opponent has that their side will win.

6. You spend years building a war chest funded by any and all bad players who have $$$

7. You spend money like its going out of style to demonized your opponent.

I bounced between FOX news, CNN & Patriot radio for about 2 hours while driving home and was left with a feeling of sadness and anger.

I can see quite easily why members here are melting down and going chicken little. The media has raised the bar to new lows in this election.

I refuse to give up hope. I do however understand why so many people seem pessemestic towards the results of this presidential election.

Special Access Programs found on Clinton's server. This is a classification above top secret.

More deplorable revelations about Hillary Clinton have hit the news.

The FBI released more documents related to its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server, and a letter from the inspector general for the national intelligence community was made public. The dismal revelations are not surprising; they merely reinforce the judgment much of the public has formed about the Democratic presidential nominee.

The most alarming news is contained in the letter from intelligence IG Charles McCullough III. He informed two Senate committees that Clinton’s server contained emails about special access programs.

Certain classified information rises to a level above top secret. Some of it is classified as SCI, or secure compartmentalized information. Information about special access programs is deemed even more sensitive than that.

This news rebuts, once again, Clinton’s false claim that she never sent or received classified information over her private server. To the contrary, information on it was highly classified. It also calls into question FBI director James Comey’s decision not to bring charges against her — a decision that appears to have troubled a number of career FBI agents as well.

The FBI’s own documents show that hackers attacked Clinton’s server numerous times — and were able to gain control of one email account belonging to a staffer who worked for Bill Clinton. The agency was unable to say whether hackers were able to penetrate the entire server.

The agency’s data dump include other information that, while less alarming, is no less embarrassing. Members of the security detail assigned to Clinton while she was secretary of state say she frequently violated both security and diplomatic protocol “without regard for the safety of her staff and protection detail, in order to gain favorable press.”

One agent described a “stark difference” between Clinton’s predecessor, Condoleezza Rice, and Clinton: “RICE observed strict adherence to State Department security and diplomatic protocols while CLINTON frequently and ‘blatantly’ disregarded them,” reads one transcript. Clinton also preferred to arrive at diplomatic events accompanied by her aide, Huma Abedin, rather than by the host ambassador, and “this frequently resulted in complaints by ambassadors who were insulted and embarrassed by this breach of protocol.”

Clinton even managed to alienate her own security team. According to another FBI document, “[Redacted] explained that CLINTON’s treatment of DS agents on her protective detail was so contemptuous that many of them sought reassignment or employment elsewhere. Prior to CLINTON’s tenure, being an agent on the Secretary of State’s protective detail was seen as an honor and privilege reserved for senior agents. However, by the end of CLINTON’s tenure, it was staffed largely with new agents because it was difficult to find senior agents willing to work for her.”

http://www.richmond.com/opinio...81-420857dd81bc.html

It has been obvious for years that Clinton serves just one interest — hers — and that she thinks laws and rules apply to other, lesser mortals only. How those traits will manifest themselves if and when she moves back into the White House is hard to say — but little good is bound to come of it.

Virginia's Governor Aided Campaign of FBI Official’s Wife.
Group linked to Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe donated nearly half a million dollars to 2015 state Senate candidate.

http://www.wsj.com/articles/cl...ials-wife-1477266114

The political organization of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s email use.

Campaign finance records show Mr. McAuliffe’s political-action committee donated $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to Andrew McCabe, now the deputy director of the FBI.

The Virginia Democratic Party, over which Mr. McAuliffe exerts considerable control, donated an additional $207,788 worth of support to Dr. McCabe’s campaign in the form of mailers, according to the records. That adds up to slightly more than $675,000 to her candidacy from entities either directly under Mr. McAuliffe’s control or strongly influenced by him. The figure represents more than a third of all the campaign funds Dr. McCabe raised in the effort.

Mr. McAuliffe and other state party leaders recruited Dr. McCabe to run, according to party officials. She lost the election to incumbent Republican Dick Black.

A spokesman for the governor said he “supported Jill McCabe because he believed she would be a good state senator. This is a customary practice for Virginia governors… Any insinuation that his support was tied to anything other than his desire to elect candidates who would help pass his agenda is ridiculous.”

Among political candidates that year, Dr. McCabe was the third-largest recipient of funds from Common Good VA, the governor’s PAC, according to campaign finance records. Dan Gecker received $781,500 from the PAC and $214,456 from the state party for a campaign that raised $2.9 million, according to records; and Jeremy McPike received $803,500 from the PAC and $535,162 from the state party, raising more $3.8 million that year for his candidacy.

The governor could recall only one meeting with Mr. McCabe—when he and other state Democrats met with the couple on March 7, 2015, to urge Dr. McCabe to run, according to the spokesman.

The FBI said in a statement that during his wife’s campaign Mr. McCabe “played no role, attended no events, and did not participate in fundraising or support of any kind. Months after the completion of her campaign, then-Associate Deputy Director McCabe was promoted to Deputy, where, in that position, he assumed for the first time, an oversight role in the investigation into Secretary Clinton’s emails.”

FBI officials said that after that meeting with the governor in Richmond on March 7, Mr. McCabe sought ethics advice from the bureau and followed it, avoiding involvement with public corruption cases in Virginia, and avoiding any campaign activity or events.

Mr. McCabe’s supervision of the Clinton email case in 2016 wasn’t seen as a conflict or an ethics issue because his wife’s campaign was over by then and Mr. McAuliffe wasn’t part of the email probe, officials said.

“Once I decided to run,” Dr. McCabe said, “my husband had no formal role in my campaign other than to be a supportive husband to me and our children. As a federal official…everyone who participated in our campaign understood and respected that he could not participate.”
More on Election 2016

Mr. McCabe is a longtime FBI official who focused much of his career on terrorism. His wife is a hospital physician who campaigned in northern Virginia, where the couple live with their children.

The 2015 Virginia State senate race was Dr. McCabe’s first run for office and her campaign spent $1.8 million. The race was part of Mr. McAuliffe’s failed effort to win a Democratic majority in the Virginia legislature, which would have given him significantly more sway in Richmond, the state capital.

Mr. McAuliffe has been a central figure in the Clintons’ political careers for decades. In the 1990s, he was Bill Clinton’s chief fundraiser and he remains one of the couple’s closest allies and public boosters. Mrs. Clinton appeared with him in northern Virginia in 2015 as he sought to increase the number of Democrats in the state legislature.

Dr. McCabe announced her candidacy in March 2015, the same month it was revealed that Mrs. Clinton had used a private server as secretary of state to send and receive government emails, a disclosure that prompted the FBI investigation.

At the time the investigation was launched in July 2015, Mr. McCabe was running the FBI’s Washington, D.C., field office, which provided personnel and resources to the Clinton email probe.

That investigation examined whether Mrs. Clinton’s use of private email may have compromised national security by transmitting classified information in an insecure system. A review of Mrs. Clinton’s emails concluded that 110 messages contained classified information. Mrs. Clinton has said she made a mistake but that she never sent or received messages that were marked classified.

At the end of July 2015, Mr. McCabe was promoted to FBI headquarters and assumed the No. 3 position at the agency. In February 2016, he became FBI Director James Comey’s second-in-command.

As deputy director, Mr. McCabe was part of the executive leadership team overseeing the Clinton email investigation, though FBI officials say any final decisions on that probe were made by Mr. Comey, who served as a high-ranking Justice Department official in the administration of George W. Bush.

Mr. McAuliffe has been under investigation for months by the FBI’s Washington field office, a probe that includes an examination of donations made on behalf of a Chinese businessman, according to people familiar with the matter. His lawyers have denied any wrongdoing and said the investigation is seeking to determine if Mr. McAuliffe may have violated a law requiring people to register as agents of a foreign entity.

It was unclear the extent to which Mr. McCabe may have recused himself from discussions involving Mr. McAuliffe. When Mr. McCabe’s wife began her campaign, he shied away from involvement in Virginia public corruption cases, according to officials.

Once the campaign was over, officials said, Mr. McCabe and FBI officials felt the potential conflict-of-interest issues ended.

I drove a little over 2100 miles a couple of weekends ago through MN, IA, MO, IL, KY, TN, and AL . I saw maybe a handful of Hitlery's signs and lost count of how many Trump/Pence signs I saw. Even in IL the Trump/Pence signs outweighed the Hitlery signs but I didn't drive through any major metropolitan areas.

I hope and pray the polls see the same margin.
