I don't think he has much of a choice this time around, the last stunt made him look like a quitter to me.

I'm sitting here in the Delta Sky lounge in Salt Lake waiting for my flight which is now delayed over six hours, so forgive me for having to watch CNN, but they are reporting right now how "White supremacists are Robocalling for Trump." Roll Eyes

On another note, I see CNN has procured Bob Beckel. I was wondering where he went. He looked miserable.

There was no sound, and I only caught the end of the panel discussion, but I thought he just didn't look happy being there. He looked ok otherwise.

Beckel has had or may still be having some addiction problems. Alcohol and meds.

Obama says GOP pulling a Trump

all right !

http://www.politico.com/story/...s-budget-feud-218839

The White House delivered a low blow on Friday, accusing congressional Republicans who are denying the president a chance to pitch his budget of pulling a "Donald Trump."

The raw feelings stem from the House and Senate Budget committees' announcement on Thursday that they won’t invite Obama’s budget director to Capitol Hill to discuss the administration's final several-hundred-page proposal, which is to be released on Tuesday.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest said Republicans' refusal to play ball was just as bad as Trump's refusal to take part in the last GOP debate after getting into a nasty spat with Fox News.

the OMB director has been invited to the Hill to testify on the president’s budget each of the past 16 years.

the chairmen of the House and Senate Budget committees released a joint statement saying it simply wasn't worth their time to invite Office of Management and Budget Director Shaun Donovan to discuss Obama’s fiscal 2017 proposal.

“Rather than spend time on a proposal that, if anything like this administration’s previous budgets, will double down on the same failed policies that have led to the worst economic recovery in modern times, Congress should continue our work on building a budget that balances and that will foster a healthy economy,” said Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.).

Earnest acknowledged that Obama’s budget isn’t exactly designed to seek consensus, either

The GOP would be better off if they pulled a lot more Trumps.

Marginally related. If you have already had lunch, or dinner, watch this video of Hillary dancing at an event for her in NH. It's like watching Richard Nixon gitten' on down....

With Rubio climbing in the polls I'm looking for Trump to land a few good punches on him tonight. He hasn't attacked him yet, which isn't like him.

you and a dozen others, maybe. many think he made the right choice, and think she shouldn't even be allowed to participate after showing such jaundiced anti-Trump bias.

C'mon. She quoted him back to himself and he got mad, instead of responding like an adult.

So he employed his legendary negotiating skills with Fox News, refused to debate if she was there. Which, according to him, should have resulted in Fox knuckling under to his superior prowess, kicking her off the debate stage, and then letting him win the argument. But it didn't work that way.

Guess what? That crap might work in purchasing a hotel from someone who is desperate to sell it, but it didn't work that way with Fox News. Nor would it work that way with Iran. Nor with North Korea. Nor with Congress. Nor in any high-stakes diplomacy.

So much for the Master Negotiator.

FOX News, a tenth or eleventh debate, and Megan Kelly are no Iran, China, or anyone else particularly relevant. That her employers are as corrupt as she and thus would prefer the shit show doesn't diminish the rightfulness of (essentially) telling them to fuck themselves.

It's their problem that they believe themselves to be relevant to the process.

We, none of us, need another debate anyway.

Quit fucking about and get on with it.

She, and that, are unimportant.

That's the point, isn't it? Here he is, describing how he would have dealt with Iran:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?...re=youtu.be&t=14m30s

Sounds an awful lot like how he handled the Fox debate. And yes, it was trivial. So trivial, that a real leader would have risen above it. But he tried to negotiate away Megyn Kelly, spent a lot of personal capital on it, and lost.

Cruz is a yuge disappointment.

Why in the hell are they having more debates? That many is ridiculous, especially as they serve no other value than have the networks egg on the candidates, & try to get them to talk itemit about each other. What a joke.

Oh please. She's more anti Cruz than she is anti Trump and all in for Rubio and you didn't see him running from her. All moderators have their bias, Trump just needs to grow a pair.

While white supremacists robocalling for Trump would not surprise me, I certainly would not take CNNs word for it.
