I get it, you're a Trumpster.
I'm sure he will run the most ethical administration in history. It'll be YUUUGELY ETHICAL.

As for the Cruz campaign having circulated a Carson staffer’s announcement during the caucus that he was leaving the trail after voting ended to suggest that Carson was dropping out....

Carson says that if someone passed along bad information, perhaps the candidate who that someone answers to — a.k.a. Ted Cruz — should take corrective action by firing people. Which, interestingly, led to this exchange at around 11:25 and noted by Leon Wolf:

Reporter: Do you regret, uh, announcing that that you were going to be going back to Florida and spurring some of this confusion?

Carson: Well, I didn’t make that announcement. Uh, I guess somebody talked to … other people…

Reporter: Well, your campaign told the press.

Carson: You know, *I* didn’t say it, so don’t blame me. [laughing]

Reporter: But you’re here telling us that people should know what’s going on in their campaign and hold people accountable, I mean that’s [crosstalk]

Carson: Well, let me ask you this question, is it okay after being on the road for after three weeks to go home to Florida and get a fresh change of cloths? Or is that a problem? Does that make someone into an evil, horrible person?

A Carson staffer whispered something that shouldn’t have leaked to CNN, a CNN reporter tweeted it, then Team Cruz drew an inference and beamed it out — and Cruz is the only candidate here who has trouble controlling his staff? Huh.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

This article explains a lot about our current political situation

long article, just snapshot here

http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...american-insurgency/

Veteran pollster Pat Caddell’s Armada group has spent the past several years charting the alienation of the American electorate, constructing a fascinating model of what most Americans desire in the ideal political candidate – the great statesman, or stateswoman, voters want for our time.

Using a large volume of survey data, they created a hypothetical “Candidate Smith” whose platform would enjoy strong majority support from the entire country.

Here are some of the many highlights from the poll, which is attached below:

70% agree that the federal government today no longer has the consent of the people

79% want to recruit and support more candidates who are ordinary citizens rather than professional politicians and lawyer

A majority of voters would join a third party if it had a chance of success

77% prefer candidates who “take on the political elites and special interests” to those who conform to a set ideology

here are the points that strong majorities are said to agree upon:

America is in decline, and the next generation may be the first that is worse off than its parents were.

The system is rigged against ordinary people, as powerful interests – corporate and political – exploit the rules for their own benefit.

Both the Democrat and Republican parties are “essentially useless” in changing this situation, with both of them dominated by well-connected special interests, and too interested in accumulating power instead of fulfilling their essential duties to the American people.

The political class is too insular, and should be infused with fresh blood from “ordinary citizens,” rather than “professional politicians and lawyers.”

“Candidate Smith’s beliefs are not based on liberal or conservative ideas, just fundamental American common sense."

Smith Project researchers assert he would be chosen as an independent candidate by voters of all parties and demographics, handily defeating every big name from both parties. He’d also be a formidable contender in the primary of either party, as demonstrated by testing him as a hypothetical alternative with survey groups.

OK, since you can't take a hint, let me say this in plain English: Your are done with this thread. You will not post in this thread again.

I'd ask you if you understand, but that would require a response from you in this thread, and that ain't gonna happen. You have managed to wear out your welcome in this thread. Congratulations.

Why don't you try opening your eyes and realize what's happening on this nation? Stop with the PETTY infighting.

"..fake email about a competitor..."

Fake email would be lying, unethical and certainly implies you believe or want people to believe the Cruz campaign's tweet was baseless and unethical. Instead, the Cruz campaign's tweet was factual and not unethical. Carson left the campaign in the middle of the fight, does he have the constitution to be President? It's no different than saying vote for me because I showed up for the debate in your state and the other guy didn't. Not unethical at all.

Trump needs to stop getting sidetracked.

It's going to get interesting real fast. There's a bunch of state primary's coming up. Trump and Bernie are slated to blow the doors off everyone else in New Hampshire, so South Carolina will be where the rubber starts hitting the road.

NH is a VERY liberal state. I would expect both Bernie and Trump to do very well there.

Of course Cruz lied. He may have plausible deniability, but he knew what his campaign managers were doing. If they did it without his knowledge, they should be fired. For Cruz to simply blow it off is no different from what Hillary does daily.

I am incredibly upset with Cruz. In the end, I guess a politician is a politician is a politician.

Back to square one for a while.

Be well

Why? Because you believe the Trump lies about him?

No it's not. Perhaps you're thinking of Vermont. The only liberals in NH are the ones from Massachusetts who moved there for the lower taxes. A frequent topic of conversation. Ironic, I know.

Lied? You mean when he immediately said it happened and apologized? CNN said he was taking time off...Cruz's campaign told their people to use that during the caucus AS THEY SHOULD...he is taking time off...they didn't update their people to correct the CNN story, but why should they do Carson's job? He should have had an organization in place to react the same way Cruz did. This isn't the Girl Scouts. It just shows how weak of a candidate Carson is. In the end he still did better than polls showed and it wouldn't have helped Trump win, so it didn't impact anything.

There is no reason for Trump and Cruz people to be going at each other over this. Cruz isn't winning NH and Trump is up by 20, while the establishment's new toy is gaining momentum. That's what Trump and Cruz people should be pissed about.

He apologized after he was called out on it.

I will enthusiastically support and vote for Cruz if he is the nominee, but if you think Cruz is not just another politician, you are delusional.

Keep in mind that Iowa is a caucus state. The whole idea is that you discuss the candidates and try to convince people to vote for your guy at the caucuses. So, Cruz's campaign saying that Carson is heading home and maybe that means he'll be bowing out soon, so vote for Ted is exactly what's supposed to happen.

He should fire them if they didn't do their jobs.

You know what? Really, who gives a shit?

Does anyone think we're gonna beat the democrats by playing nice or fair? Time to get down and dirty. Right now we need a candidate who's going to go for the kill.

Trump is just pissed that his people didn't seize that opportunity first to grab votes. What a serious lot of BS.

All this does is put my faith into Cruz more that he's going to go for the jugular and kick Hillary (or whatever awful Democrat gets the nomination) right in the balls when it counts.
