I can't wait for tonight's talk shows Fox vs. the MSNBC blame-game what-went-wrong whiners. And, I won't wait up but the monologues on the late shows would be interesting.

Wall Street Traders Boo Hillary Clinton During Concession Speech, Chant ‘Lock Her Up’

http://www.breitbart.com/2016-...ssion-chant-lock-up/

Wall Street traders booed Hillary Clinton on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange during her concession speech to President-elect Donald Trump Wednesday.

The traders began chanting, “Lock her up!” as Clinton told her supporters that they should accept defeat, CNN Money reported.

“Ding-dong, the witch is dead,” shouted another floor trader.

Even though global markets dropped overnight due to the shocking news of Trump’s win, U.S. stocks went slightly up when the stock market opened this morning.

The Dow Jones industrial average went up 200 points, while the S&P 500 and NASDAQ went up 1 percent.

I think the normal practice would be for him to put his properties into a blind trust. However, this is a very unique situation; I'm really not sure how he does it.

Trump mentioned that during the primaries (see below). I hope someone explained how these trusts work to him since he's made that statement. His family members and (private sector) employees can't act as trustee because they aren't disinterested parties. The Trustee of a blind trust should really divest the trust of the original assets funded to it and replace those assets with ones that are unknown to the government official--this is how the conflict of interest is, in theory, eliminated. This is going to be a big deal. Here's a little bit about blind trusts if anyone is interested.

“Well, I don’t know if it’s a blind trust if Ivanka [Trump], Don [Trump Jr.] and Eric [Trump] run it,” he said in reference to the company, which encompasses real estate, sales, marketing investing, brokerage and property management and is run by himself and his three aforementioned children. “I don’t know. But I would probably have my children run it with my executives and I wouldn’t ever be involved because I wouldn’t care about anything but our country, anything." From the IBT

Why would one need solar powered autopens? Does he not plan on paying the last month's electric bill?

Could and should we instead permanently remove the ability to envoke the nuclear option at all, and permanently make it impossible for anyone to ever do what Pelosi and crew did to get ObamaCare passed, then simply pick good judges for consideration and write truly good legislation that is then debated and voted on normally?

Lead by example, maybe?

This election has proven, again, that all things are cyclical, what comes around goes around, majorities like this will end, super majorities can do too much and go too far, and if you're a tyrant in some ****ed up way - that shit will come back on you.

Or do we say **** it, and strong-arm our way through as much as we can get away with?

Maybe a balance?

What do you think?

NO.

NO.

NO.

We've tried this crap before. Bush Jr tried to 'reach across the aisle,' and the Dems took EVERYTHING from the Repubs. In return, they did NOTHING for us. Quid pro quo my hairy butt.

For the last 8 years, we've heard president stampy-feet say "I have a pen and a phone and I will use both," we've seen the media talk about how the dems had a 'mandate' to rule according to the 'will of the voters,' and we've seen the repubs roll over and give the Dems EVERYTHING they wanted. In the last 8 years, I think the only time the Repubs actually grew a spine and stood up to the Dems was with the Supreme Court appointee they blocked.

NO QUARTER, NO COMPROMISE. The media will cry and complain. So what. The libs/dems will cry and complain. So what. YOU KNOW that the hildabeast would NOT have reached across the aisle to compromise had she won. She would have crammed EVERY liberal issue down our throats without thinking twice. They would have gone nuclear with the hag's extremist liberal SC appointees. It is FOOLISH to expect that the dems will change now and play fair.

Now, we don't cheat. We don't purposefully subvert the system like the dems do/did. We use the rules in place and the precedents that have been set, and we get the job done.

I don't agree. I want this country and the gov't to go back to the rule of law and the conventions governing the senate and house.

So the Democrats play dirty. Then because of that the Republicans do when they're in power. Then the Democrats are back and they go further. Then the R's are back, and they go further.

It's just a short slide down the slippery slope to anarchy.

I want the Republicans to take the high road, play by the rules, and do something to strengthen those rules so the D's can't keep perverting it for their own gain.

Five Fast Gun Reforms President Trump Will Sign Into Law

http://bearingarms.com/bob-o/2...&utm_campaign=buffer

Posted at 11:39 am on November 9, 2016 by Bob Owens

President-Elect Donald Trump stunned the world last night with a commanding upset victory over the heavy favorite, Democrat Hillary Clinton. In addition to Trump’s victory in the contest to be the 45th President of the United States, the National Rifle Association’s five million members helped retain control of the Senate by backing victorious GOP contenders in Florida, Missouri, Indiana, North Carolina, and Wisconsin (at this time, New Hampshire’s Senate contest between Kelly Ayotte (R) and Maggie Hassan (D) remains too close to call). The House also remains comfortably under the control of the GOP.

The NRA pumped more money into Trump’s election than any super-PAC, and Trump has a reputation for standing by his allies.

Here are five fast gun law reforms President Trump and his Republican House and Senate can make.

Ending Gun-Free Zones On Military Bases

President Trump will have the authority to executive authority to pass an executive order allowing the United States military to carry firearms on duty. Our domestic military bases and facilities have been the site of numerous terror attacks and mass shootings. Trump can reverse that with the stroke of a pen. He would also apparently have the authority to end firearm bans on other federal property, but there are so many laws and regulations that I don’t want to make that claim prematurely.

National Concealed Carry Reciprocity

There is significant momentum towards establishing national concealed carry reciprocity in all 50 states. President Trump, working with a Republican-controlled House and Senate, should be able to get this passed into law within the first 90 days. There are four different bills to choose from in the House and Senate.

https://www.nraila.org/article...iprocity-legislation

Legalizing Silencers

Making a hearing safety device criminal was one of the dumbest things ever done under the Administration of Franklin D. Roosevelt… and that’s saying a lot. The Hearing Protection Act is already written and has co-sponsors. It should be passed within the first 60 days of President Trump’s administration, which is a blessing to high-volume shooters such as myself who would like to better protect our hearing.

https://www.congress.gov/bill/...e-bill/3799/all-info

NICS Background Check Reform

Gun control supporters want a “universal” background checks on all gun purchases in order to create a de facto gun registry… and that’s just not going to happen. What is going to happen is that President Trump, the House, and Senate are going to work on legislation to close the gaping holes in the existing background check system so that it is more effective, ensuring better and more accurate updating of prohibited persons. This will likely run in conjunction with mental health reform to both help people in crisis obtain the help they need, and ensure that fears of losing their Second Amendment rights won’t keep people from seeking help for a temporary but important mental health crisis.

Allow Importation of Collectable Historical Firearms

President Obama has stymied the importation of historically significant firearms provided to allies after the Second World War and the Korean War through executive orders. The Collectible Firearms Protection Act will allow the reimportation of hundreds of thousand of M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, and M1911 pistols.

These are five laws that a Republican Congress and President Trump can pass within the first 90-180 days, but they are not the only laws being considered.

There is a lot of middle ground between playing by the rules while aggressively pushing your agenda...and what the R surrender-monkeys have been doing the past 8 years.

Follow the rules, but use them to you favor. The Ds can get on board or explain to the people why they aren't (and get booted in the mid-terms...again).

I think the combo of a neutered media, Trump (his media prowess and leadership) along with the R's in control will lead to things getting done. The D old-guard is withering away. Reid is gone, the Hag is finished. What's Pelosi gonna do?

I had forgotten about him, indeed he must be totally catatonic by now.... Razz

I listened to him on the radio today while driving home, to see what he had to say about the Trump win. He said Trump's supporters took him seriously but not literally, but he had taken Trump literally but not seriously, and for that he was sorry. What a stupid fuck. I suppose he thinks this will keep him relevant for another year before he admits himself into a terminal mental facility.

The main stream "media" were humiliated. They didn't mind being exposed as stooges for the Democrats. But the Democrats lost the Executive, the House, and the Senate. So, they are stooges for losers. Nobody wants to be the losers' stooge. Eh, Wolf? Megyn? Chuck?

Added to that is their obvious gross incompetence. Their ass is out for the world to see. Through their polls, their focus groups and their "experts," they were calling the election for Clinton from the beginning all the way to election night. They persisted in describing her as the likely winner even as the numbers came in and she was obviously losing.

And the final little indignity is that -- they still don't get it. They really don't. They can repeat some things that they are told by those who do get it, but they are just parroting.

When Marie Antoinette uttered her infamous, "Let them eat cake," she wasn't trying to be flippant or sarcastic. She just didn't get it. She thought that the peasants could not get baguettes, and reasoned that they could just settle for a different kind of soft bread that has been translated as "cake." What's the big deal? Let them eat cake.

The NYC-DC "elites"-- the UniParty, the so-called journalists, the lobbyists, the pundits-- live in their own separate world, just as did the 18th C French aristocracy. They have no idea what is going on in the ordinary world. They won't ever get it.

2011 WH Correspondents Dinner

Seth Meyers jokes that “Donald Trump has been saying he’ll run for president as a Republican, which is surprising as I just assumed he was running as a joke.”

Obama also joined Meyers in mocking Trump’s possible run , saying that he was glad Trump had rejected the birther conspiracy so he could get back to real issues that matter, such as “did we fake the moon landing,” “what really happened in Roswell,” and “where are Biggie and Tupac?”

doubly ironic because Podesta (Clinton campaign chair) is a big UFO enthusiast.

Obama had his laugh in 2011

now he can hand the WH over to Trump
