Remember Robert DeNero's ranting video in which he says he'd like to "punch Donald Trump in the face"? So, that Donald Trump became President Donald Trump. You got any more violence you'd like to threaten, Bobby? Because some Secret Service dudes will be happy to talk about it with you. (How's that turn of events for the perfect STFU?) Smile

So I guess the main stream media, that totally missed this whole election, will now want to tell US all how it happened and what we need to do.

Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.

When Marie Antoinette uttered her infamous, "Let them eat cake," she wasn't trying to be flippant or sarcastic. She just didn't get it. She thought that the peasants could not get baguettes, and reasoned that they could just settle for a different kind of soft bread that has been translated as "cake." What's the big deal?

The NYC-DC "elites"-- the UniParty, the so-called journalists, the lobbyists, the pundits-- live in their own separate world, just as did the 18th C French aristocracy. They have no idea what is going on in the ordinary world. They won't ever get it.

Absolutely.

I watched a bit of FBC this morning because I was curious on the markets. Listened to Rush this morning. He gets it. Tried to watch Special Report but gave up after about 2 minutes. It was all about "How did he win?" "How could we have been so wrong?" "What did Obama say?" "What did Hillary say?"

They
Dont
Get
It.

I watched a arrogant, selfish, and criminal woman last night REFUSE the time honored tranfer of power. Maybe we should have a few words about that huh? Never. Dont pay any attention to that.

Like many here, they can all go screw themselves. Done with them. "Draining the swamp" will be just the beginning. After its drained, we're still going to have to let them know its time to move along.

I forgot about this.

2011 WH Correspondents Dinner

Seth Meyers jokes that “Donald Trump has been saying he’ll run for president as a Republican, which is surprising as I just assumed he was running as a joke.”

Obama also joined Meyers in mocking Trump’s possible run , saying that he was glad Trump had rejected the birther conspiracy so he could get back to real issues that matter, such as “did we fake the moon landing,” “what really happened in Roswell,” and “where are Biggie and Tupac?”

This reminds me of the National Press Club luncheon when they invited Matt Drudge in 1998 and ridiculed his fledgling internet site. Tom Brokaw was especially mocking. "Ho ho ho, he doesn't have a television program, or a newspaper, or a magazine. He is trying to pretend to be a journalist with this little...thing...on the interwebs. Har har har."

He who laughs last....

I think the normal practice would be for him to put his properties into a blind trust. However, this is a very unique situation; I'm really not sure how he does it.

Bloomberg did it successfully.

Check out the interactive map of NY by county. Looking at the blue parts, it easy to see how NYS is run by NYC. Look at all the red! My counties (Otsego and Herkimer) are in the center, nice and red. One of the blue ones to their left is Onondaga (Syracuse). Then, of course, Rochester and Buffalo (guess who lives there?), and Albany and Schenectady counties (capital district).

Remember this next time you want to dis NYS. We are so not NYC.

Our local paper had a breakdown of Erie County. I'm in the county and outside the city (rural). The City of Buffalo carried the whole county for Clinton. Most of the county is republican and voted with President Elect Trump but the city carried the whole county into the blue.

And let's hope they never do. The fact they "don't get it", made this election possible.

Illinois is the same way: Chicago, collar counties, Rockford, Champaign (UofI) and East St Louis. The rest? Pretty damn red. Last night, when PA finally fell, there was quite a bit of noise outside.

I really hate the fact that NBC has made this a white/black issue and that it was always white people upset about the strides of blacks who did this in a White-lash

Keep whipping it up media... Just keep it up

Displacement. Keeps them from having to turn their insight to the real problem.

As long as it's 'racism' or 'misogyny' or whatever, they don't have to change the way they do business.

People hate change.
