Oh, and ask for Comey's resignation. Breach of public trust. He can no longer be trusted to faithfully uphold the laws of the United States.

Will, a columnist for The Washington Post, argued that a landslide win for Clinton would help Republicans by giving the party room to distance itself from divisive candidates and from the "indignation industry," as he dubbed it, of talk radio and cable personalities.

"Until the Republican Party gets right with minorities in this country," Will said, "it's never going to win another presidential election."

"I don't know what you do to erect a kind of filter to keep a certain kind of candidate off the stage, but they have to work on their nominating process," he added.

Known for referring to baseball in his columns, Will said of the 23 percent chance that FiveThirtyEight's Nate Silver estimates both Trump and the Chicago Cubs have of winning this year, "I think he's underestimating the Cubs and overestimating Donald Trump."

While pundits and party leaders alike have been calling for updates from Comey in the investigation or a clarification of the wording in his letter, Will said, "That makes it worse, although his silence is bad enough, that could make it worse."

Some 20 million votes have already been cast, Will noted, and at just one week before the nation's decision day, he advised, " I think silence would be golden at this point ."

Maybe we need to "filter" people like Will. His soft doctrine on the people/voters is wrong and it, unfortunately, is destroying his credibility on intellectually conservative doctrine about constitutional government.

The right should use this song today. I'd be willing to bet many of the bat shit craziest on the left would feel it was 'co-opted' from them. If they hear it today, I think it would make some heads explode. Razz

A big winner in this election is Breitbart

Here is something that is funny Big Grin

TEHRAN (AFP) – Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said there was “no possibility” of its nuclear deal with world powers being overturned by US president-elect Donald Trump despite his threat to rip it up. “Iran’s understanding in the nuclear deal was that the accord was not concluded with one country or government but was approved by a resolution of the UN Security Council and there is no possibility that it can be changed by a single government,” Rouhani told his cabinet, according to state television.

Unfortunately, Kentucky wasn't all red. The blue stain in the center of the Commonwealth is Fayette County (Lexington), and Jefferson County (Louisville) is along the Ohio River, so the color may be hard to tell too; but otherwise RED.

I barely slept last night, but am on Cloud Nine today seeing the liberals acting like the sky is falling.

I really think Trump was, in essence, a third party candidate. The Dems and GOP both opposed him!

This was a major FU to the corrupt DC establishment, the PC cancer that's infected America, and the full-of-crap media.

And how about all those Hollywood / celebrity idiots and their endorsements? Not enough sheeple bought their shit I guess...

That has been a left mantra for quite some time. Hillary called for the elimination of the electoral college on her first day of being elected in New York.

Democrats would like to have big city centers decide all elections. The electoral college makes the candidates appeal to the voters of the entire country. That creates problems for Dems because time and again their "divide us" election strategy has failed in flyover country.

Heard a comment from Chuck Todd that made me look these numbers up.

The total vote numbers may change as a few bits and pieces filter in, but look at what we have now.

2016 Trump 59.5 million votes

2012 Romney 61 million votes

2016 Clinton 59.7 million votes

2012 Obama 66 million votes

Clinton lost because 6 million DEM voters didn't show up to vote for her (some of them may have voted for Trump)

Trumps ENERGY on the trail was astounding, and would have been for a man half his age. He ran circles around the Hag, and the enthusiasm was palpable.

I hear the guy sleeps like 4 hours / night... Anyway, if he carries this kind of energy into being POTUS, we're in for brighter days lads!

We need to CRUSH the left. No more Mr nice guy. Force everything upon them. Do EXACTLY what they would do. Bury them. Eff them. They wouldn't think twice about stifling the right, so neither should we. They want war? Bring it on.

Nuclear option. Thank Harry Reid

As much as part of me wants to kick their teeth in while we have them down, and bully our way through our agenda, I'd also rather see us make such substantial changes normally, through regular votes and rules, especially after the way the Democrats rammed ObamaCare down our throats via technicalities and rule changes, and the way many of us wailed and railed about how they did that and how much it was bullshit.

Could and should we instead permanently remove the ability to envoke the nuclear option at all, and permanently make it impossible for anyone to ever do what Pelosi and crew did to get ObamaCare passed, then simply pick good judges for consideration and write truly good legislation that is then debated and voted on normally?

Lead by example, maybe?

This election has proven, again, that all things are cyclical, what comes around goes around, majorities like this will end, super majorities can do too much and go too far, and if you're a tyrant in some fucked up way - that shit will come back on you.

Or do we say fuck it, and strong-arm our way through as much as we can get away with?

Maybe a balance?

What do you think?
