Today in FedBizOps, the place where the federal government publishes procurement announcements was one from the Executive Office of the President for 250 autopens capable of signing 12,000 documents per day and a solar array to run them. Bids are due next Tuesday, with delivery NLT December 24, 2016.

The other big winner is Mike Pence> He came on board when most Republicans (me included) thought Trump to be toxic. He certainly gives confidence as a counterbalance to the mercurial Trump. And who knows if the Donald's attention span doesn't want to consider a 2nd term. Pence can say here was there all along if things go well.....

If you could take away the South Florida jews and New England transplants with all their Yankee money, not a single person in FL would have voted for her. I haven't seen a SINGLE Hillary sign or sticker in Central or Northern FL, and not a single person I've spoken too was voting for her. Thank God we ended up coming through, 29 electoral votes is a big swing!

I agree! I saw 2 Hillary signs in Fort Lauderdale and an honest 1000 Trump signs.

It only requires a simple majority to confirm a SCOTUS nominee. However they can filibuster, which would require 60 votes to end. If it does end 53-47, the republicans would need 7 dems to overcome filibuster. The other option is the 'nuclear option' where the majority suspends the rules and only requires a simple majority to consent to the appointment.[/QUOTE]

It looks like New Hampshire was the tightest race, followed by Michigan. It was weird seeing Michigan become the focus of the election in the last couple days.

Believe it or not, the buffoon is now pledging support for Trump saying "I am reaching out today. I will call him today."

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I don't think Trump will bother to take that phone call. Big Grin

That's all I could stand to watch but I liked hearing him say that. At least he got that part right.

I dunno brother. I can't help but shake the feeling that every one of those summabitches knew exactly what info they were feeding us the entire time. And now they're acting innocent as if it were the pollsters fault. They thought they had us played.

I got up early yesterday morning and went to vote - was surprised at how quick it went - no lines - in and out.

I ignored the news all day, went out for dinner and didn't turn on any election coverage until about 930 last night

I watched Fox until about 1230 and Podesta came out and told everyone to go home and then waited for a bit to see if perhaps Pennsylvania or Michigan would be called.

Finally packed it in while he had 527 or so - the last thing I recall was them calling Maine and giving the bitch 3 out of 4 votes with one remaining.

Frankly I am not surprised about NH being so tough with all of the Massholes and New York roaches that have moved in and totally corrupted what was once a beautiful state. Ayotte I hope wins.

It was nice to wake up this morning and find out Trump won. My sig line has been there since the 2014 elections and its probably about time to find a new one.

I thank everyone that voted for Trump, and while I wish I could be 'magnanimous' to the losers, I really cant. I truly want to do to them over the next four years what they did to us for the last eight.

The big winner last night was the country - we will get someone that will do a fine job of nominating the next US Supreme Court justices and hope that a few of the remaining liberal ones kick off pretty quickly.

I agree. Part of it is to stretch things out to keep viewers watching the tube.

That open source NY Times forecast data was an hour or two ahead of what was being reported. They knew what was going to happen and they acted out parts to put on the show.

These people aren't there to give you the news, they are there to keep your attention and drive their numbers up for advertisers.

I have been seeing many more American flags proudly displayed at homes around the neighbor hood today. My home had been one of the few where it was flown outside of usual flag flying days.
