All these pictures are cool but if he didn't con the government into giving him BILLIONS in subsidies they would have never been taken. Howard Hughes he is not. Yeah, they are paying him to launch shit into space. Which is the government modus operandi, because they don't build or make things. They pay people / companies to do that. Been that way forever. It's understandable that haters are gonna hate. I certainly don't think he's perfect, but like I said before he's done more than everyone here, combined. Using tax money is not the issue. It is the way he aquired it that is, specifically with reguards to Tesla. Establishing a plan of action, asking for money, and delivering product is fine. Dumping tax money into a black hole is not. | |||

If .gov hadn't conned us taxpayers into billions and billions, we wouldn't have Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and the Space Shuttle. If taxpayers have to subsidize something/anything, I d far rather it be ROCKETS than welfare. So there's that.
