I don't believe he's a con man per say. I do believe he's come up with some great ideas which either were not correctly executed or are ahead of their time. IMO

Howard Hughes he is not. He is the typical scam artist using peoples money to drive his ego. As to the success of Space X? Throw enough shit at a wall and some is bound to stick.

Yeah, they are paying him to launch shit into space.

Which is the government modus operandi, because they don't build or make things. They pay people / companies to do that. Been that way forever.

It's understandable that haters are gonna hate. I certainly don't think he's perfect, but like I said before he's done more than everyone here, combined.

He’s a workaholic and it’s cool to have people of his sort in this country. I’d rather my kid look up to him than some dumb NBA player.

I’m not even sure he enjoys his billions, he’s too busy trying to run 700 complex projects.

Using tax money is not the issue. It is the way he aquired it that is, specifically with reguards to Tesla.

Establishing a plan of action, asking for money, and delivering product is fine. Dumping tax money into a black hole is not.

If .gov hadn't conned us taxpayers into billions and billions, we wouldn't have Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and the Space Shuttle.

If taxpayers have to subsidize something/anything, I d far rather it be ROCKETS than welfare.

So there's that.

Pretty sure he founded PayPal to get rich.
He currently follows the rules to get tax subsidies. There rules are there to get money and he is doing it.
