I know nothing about the veractity of any of the posted articles (though I am inclined to believe them), but they certainly do not shine a positive light on our government agencies and their implementation of the “rule of law”. I was raised to believe in the impartial application of the rule of law. Do right, don’t break the law and you’ll have no problems with the government. Do wrong, break the law, and you will absolutely have problems with the government. If that was ever true, it certainly doesn’t seem to be the case now. I’m not sure how we fix this.

Jan. 6 Committee Confirms Schiff Presented Doctored Text Message Between Meadows and Jordan

https://www.theepochtimes.com/...osYPMoHQE07uwgfju9nZ

The House of Representatives committee investigating the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol acknowledged on Wednesday that it doctored a text message between former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows and Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), excluding content about how they wanted former Vice President Mike Pence to handle electoral votes during the Joint Session of Congress earlier this year.

On Monday, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), the head of the House Intelligence Committee, showed a graphic during a hearing on newly obtained communications between Meadows and others, including Jordan. The graphic was displayed as the Jan. 6 panel was discussing whether to hold Meadows in contempt of Congress for refusing to hand over information related to the probe.

The graphic included the title “Lawmaker Text to Meadows.”

The message was presented as follows: “On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all.”

“You can see why this is so critical to ask Mr. Meadows about. About a lawmaker suggesting that the former vice president simply throw out votes that he unilaterally deems unconstitutional in order to overturn a presidential election and subvert the will of the American people,” Schiff said.

However, the message was actually a direct quote from former Department of Defense Inspector General Joseph Schmitz, according to The Federalist. The text included an attachment of Schmitz’s determination that Pence could object to electoral votes from states.

The text was also altered to cut off the rest of the sentence, which stated, “in accordance with guidance from founding father Alexander Hamilton and judicial precedence,” the outlet said.

A spokesman for the House panel confirmed to The Epoch Times that the message was doctored.

“The select committee on Monday created and provided Representative Schiff a graphic to use during the business meeting quoting from a text message from ‘a lawmaker’ to Mr. Meadows,” the spokesman said in an email.

“In the graphic, the period at the end of that sentence was added inadvertently,” the spokesman added, without elaborating on how the error was introduced. “The Select Committee is responsible for and regrets the error.”

Jordan and Schiff did not respond to requests for comment.

Jordan’s office and Schiff’s office have not responded to The Epoch Times’ request for comment.

“Expect a lot more of this. Schiff and the contemptible Jan6 committee will twist and smear the narrative every chance they get,” wrote Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) on Twitter Wednesday. Added Rep. Dan Bishop (R-N.C.), Schiff is the “Jussie Smollet of Congress,” referring to the former “Empire” actor who was convicted of concocting a hate crime hoax earlier this month.

The panel, which later voted to hold Meadows in contempt, previously acknowledged privately that one of its subpoenas contained misinformation, but has still not updated the public on that matter.

Former FBI Lawyer Who Fabricated Evidence in Trump-Russia Probe Restored to ‘Good Standing’ by DC Bar

https://www.theepochtimes.com/...DCEuv27yE30bjQEsZ%2F

The former FBI lawyer who admitted to fabricating evidence against a former Donald Trump associate during the Trump-Russia investigation has been restored to “good standing” status by the District of Columbia Bar.

Kevin Clinesmith was restored despite being a convicted felon who has not yet finished his probation.

Clinesmith pleaded guilty last year to doctoring an email that originated with the CIA. He manipulated the message to make it seem as if Carter Page, the former Trump campaign associate, was not an asset for the CIA. Page was a CIA asset.

Clinesmith claimed he did not intend to lie when he made the fabrication and received no jail time from a federal judge in January.

While the Michigan Bar disbarred Clinesmith because he pleaded guilty to a felony, the D.C. Bar opted for a temporary suspension.

Clinesmith was suspended “based upon his conviction of a serious crime in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia,” the bar said at the time.

Clinesmith has since been restored to “good standing” status, according to the bar’s website.

The move came after the bar’s recommendation to leave Clinesmith off suspension was approved by a court that oversees the bar, RealClearInvestigations reported. It also came after Clinesmith failed to let the bar know of his guilty plea for five months, much longer than the time period required by the organization.

A spokeswoman for the bar told The Epoch Times in an email that the organization “does not handle or issue statements pertaining to disciplinary matters of its members.”

Page declined to comment.

Clinesmith was the first person charged by John Durham, who was at the time a U.S. attorney and is now a special counsel attempting to root out the fraud and corruption that took place when federal authorities launched the Trump-Russia investigation.

Durham’s grand jury has since brought charges against Michael Sussman, a longtime Democrat lawyer, and Igor Danchenko, a Russian analyst who helped ex-British spy Christopher Steele compile the error-riddled dossier about Trump,

John Ratcliffe, the former director of national intelligence, said recently he believes “there will be many indictments based on the intelligence that I gave to John Durham and that I have seen.”

This topic has been discussed before. This is another confirmation

https://www.theamericanconserv...-wisconsin-purchase/

What happened in 2020 involved a highly coordinated and privately funded “shadow campaign” for Joe Biden that took place within the formal structure of the election system itself. Through the injection of over $419 million of Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan’s money, laundered through the Center for Technology and Civic Life (CTCL) and the Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR), the professional left presided over a targeted, historically unprecedented takeover of government election offices by nominally nonpartisan, but demonstrably ideological, nonprofit organizations and activists in key areas of swing states such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Our research shows that CTCL spending in Wisconsin generated enough votes for Joe Biden to secure him an Electoral College win there in 2020. We estimate that CTCL spending in Wisconsin purchased Joe Biden an additional 65,222votes,without which Donald Trump would have won the state by 44,540 votes.

Although CTCL and CEIR are chartered as non-partisan 501(c)(3) corporations , our research shows that the $419.5 million of CTCL and CEIR spending that took place in 2020 was highly partisan in its distribution, and highly partisan in its effects. Targeted CTCL and CEIR spending played a decisive role in building a “shadow” election system with a built-in structural bias that systematically favored Democratic votes over Republican votes.

it had to do with financing the infiltration of election offices at the city and county level by Democrat activists and using those offices as a platform to implement preferred administrative practices, voting methods, ballot harvesting efforts, and data sharing agreements, as well as to launch intensive multi-media outreach campaigns and surgically targeted, concierge-level get-out-the-vote efforts in areas heavy with Democratic voters.

A bill to prevent private funding of Wisconsin’s elections in the future recently passed both houses of the Wisconsin legislature but was vetoed by Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers.
