Naturally, SCOTUS ruled in favor of Trump. No one- not even the leftists- should be surprised. That's why they were all pissed off that the court agreed to hear the case. They knew their shit wouldn't hold.

This case raises the question whether the States, in addition to Congress, may also enforce Section 3. We conclude that States may disqualify persons holding or attempting to hold state office. But States have no power under the Constitution to enforce Section 3 with respect to federal offices, especially the Presidency.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

It's time's like these that it's highly entertaining to tune into MSNBC, CNN, et al.

Poor Jim Acosta is trying to convince us that Donald Trump is an "insurrectionist" and it's hilarious.

Absolute 100% proof that Donald Trump is a legitimate candidate for POTUS, always was.

Looking forward to it.

It's times like this we'll especially miss Justice Scalia. His written opinion would've been epic, I imagine Big Grin

King Douche is upset. That's a shame. Oh, look. He says we should get rid of the Supreme Court. Sure, that makes sense.

The opinion is linked above. Nothing fiery or outlandish... you don't usually get that in a 9-0 opinion.

In a sign of the high court’s awareness of the election calendar, the justices took the unusual step of announcing the opinion on the Supreme Court’s website on a day when the court is not in session, instead of issuing it from the bench later this month.

I imagine the expectation is they may have more to say at a later date?

Great news to start the day with. I've been smiling about it for several hours now. It's frustrating that something this stupid had to go before the Supreme Court, but edifying that they ruled unanimously.

It must be dissolved.

Fuck you, Keith. We need them, we don't need you. If we're gonna go around dissolving stuff, it's the compromised, complicit, corrupt, illegitimate "news media" that ought to go first, and we can start with guys like you.
