November 30, 1995. My wife had a complicated pregnancy and was in the hospital for a baby check up. The baby had not grown since the prior week and was in distress. Seven weeks early but it was his time to come and was born shortly after I got to the hospital. He was born with developmental delays, stayed in the infant ICU for several weeks and finally came home just after Christmas. Fast forward to yesterday - I just co-signed for his own townhouse. I have truly been blessed in life and am thankful every day. Thanks for your amazing generosity. We all appreciate it greatly. Paul

Our daughter’s birth. November 16, 1986. We have a son too, but for several reasons our firstborn was special. I was just a cowboy/ranch hand. We had no insurance and our daughter was delivered by a small town GP. When we called the hospital, sometime around 11:00 pm, the receptionist asked if we thought we could wait until after midnight, it would save us a day’s hospital charge. We could. Natural delivery with an Arizona doctor we knew pretty’s well. Everything went great. My wife was able to take our daughter immediately, and she still says it was probably the best day of her life. Total charge for doctor and hospital was about $1000. Things had changed by the time our son was born. Our local GP had to give up delivering babies because of malpractice insurance cost. _______________________________________________________ despite them

My special day, came after a summer of time spent with my son pulling and rebuilding an engine on a Supra his dream car at the time. The story starts with him turning 16. He was working at a restaurant. We told him we would contribute 2,500 for a car, He said if he contributed the rest could he pick out the car. We agreed, he found a Supra in Phoenix. We talked to the owner agreed on a price and I told my son I would fly out and drive it back. On the drive back to MO the car began to blow oil to the point of a qt of oil every 100 miles. Got it home, I looked at my son, and asked him you want to spend your summer wrenching? He said let’s do it. We spent the summer pulling, re-building the engine and turbo, and putting it back in. The memorable day was when we got it all back together, it was at 9:30 pm called his mother out to the garage and he turns the key and all we get is the engine cranking…..no ignition…we sit for a few seconds and he gets a light bulb moment.. and says the ignition fuse Dad we need the fuse for the ignition….fuse put in. Car starts, runs and blows no oil. That night was the best the look on his face, that summer was some quality time spent with my son that both of us will never forget. Q, please don’t count me in as I’ve got rid of almost all my classic P-series. Just wanted to say this is an awesome Karma. My special day isn’t here yet. I’ve been married, had kids born, love em all. But my special day will be in 9.25 years when I retire. 10 years to retirement! Just waiting!
