November 30, 1995. My wife had a complicated pregnancy and was in the hospital for a baby check up. The baby had not grown since the prior week and was in distress. Seven weeks early but it was his time to come and was born shortly after I got to the hospital. He was born with developmental delays, stayed in the infant ICU for several weeks and finally came home just after Christmas.

Fast forward to yesterday - I just co-signed for his own townhouse.

I have truly been blessed in life and am thankful every day.

Thanks for your amazing generosity. We all appreciate it greatly.

Paul

Amazing karma. Been sick for a while , but i'm trying to come back. My most amazing day was at age 18 when I accepted the Lord Jesus as my
Savior.

33 years ago I met the love of my life. She put up with my multiple deployments and raised our kids and kept our home going.

Our daughter’s birth. November 16, 1986. We have a son too, but for several reasons our firstborn was special. I was just a cowboy/ranch hand. We had no insurance and our daughter was delivered by a small town GP. When we called the hospital, sometime around 11:00 pm, the receptionist asked if we thought we could wait until after midnight, it would save us a day’s hospital charge. We could.

Natural delivery with an Arizona doctor we knew pretty’s well. Everything went great. My wife was able to take our daughter immediately, and she still says it was probably the best day of her life. Total charge for doctor and hospital was about $1000.

Things had changed by the time our son was born. Our local GP had to give up delivering babies because of malpractice insurance cost.
