Told cops where to go for over 29 years…![]() |
My 2 cents… Never really expected Hamas to concede and disarm. The deal was more about getting Egypt and other Arab/muslim countries in the area to buy off on the plan. Support for Hamas from Iran and their proxies seems to have been pretty much eliminated, and those former supporters are now looking to a more prosperous future once Hamas is gone. Of course they won’t actively participate against their “brothers”, but they won’t be getting in the way and have tacitly “approved” of the elimination. Only question is whose hands will be destroying Hamas. Israel, Israel with US “assistance”, or some form of private contractor? Given the way President Trump is doing things this time around, I don’t expect it will be a drawn out process before we have the answers. What part of "...Shall not be infringed" don't you understand???

There is no way to eliminate that kind of evil. It creates itself faster than you can kill it. If you want to start killing women and children en mas you will see more terrorist against Israel and the US than you ever dreamed of. Nobody should want to see that. Don't mis-interpret what I am saying. I want Hamas gone. But it is a long game. You could wipe every inch of the strip off the map. But that is not going to destroy the terrorists. ymmv. So is the plan for Qatar, Turkey, and Egypt to take a primary role in stabilizing Gaza with the US and some Western allies involved in some type of executive capacity responsible for diplomacy and economic pressure points ? Is that a fair description if you had to describe it in one sentence ? Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. Coyote School of DIY Disaster

I think Trump will hold BB back as long as he can giving Hamas every chance to follow through with what they agreed to but they won’t ever stop killing. It’s just a short time until Trump stops holding BB back and the IDF turns them into dust.

I hope so. I'm assuming that by waiting and playing footsie with Hamas gives them some political breathing room before and perhaps after they go in to finish the job. Lover of the US Constitution Wile E. Coyote School of DIY Disaster

“On the morning of October 7, 2023, the day Hamas murdered 1,200 people in Israel, a man's voice was recorded on a mobile phone close to the scene of the attacks. 'If things go the way they should, Syria will take part, Lebanon will take part...and it's going to be a third world war...,' the voice said. Shortly afterward, the same man was recorded saying: 'I swear by God, I'm inside. Turn your phones off, boys.' Around the same time, his phone connected with a cell tower 1.9 miles east of Gaza and 0.4 miles from Kfar Aza, a kibbutz where 62 residents were killed and 19 taken hostage. According to an FBI affidavit, the voice belonged to Mahmoud Amin Ya'qub Al-Muhtadi, 33, also known as 'Abu Ala.' He was an operative for the Gaza-based National Resistance Brigades, the military wing of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the affidavit said. This week, Al-Muhtadi appeared in court in the unlikely setting of Lafayette, Louisiana, where he had recently been working in a restaurant while posting pictures of himself on social media with a gun. He pleaded not guilty to two charges - conspiring to provide material support to a terrorist organization, and visa fraud. …” DailyMail article: https://mol.im/a/15225533 I had guessed that the primary purpose of the October 7 attack was to get other Arabic countries to war on Israel when the Israelis retaliated. That plan failed. Serious about crackers.

^Absolutely. They counted on a massive counter attack against Israel following the operation into Gaza. All they got was Iran getting a bloody nose. He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster.

Ceasefire Unraveling? Netanyahu Orders 'Powerful' Strikes On Gaza https://www.zerohedge.com/geop...owerful-strikes-gaza "Prime Minister Netanyahu instructed the military echelon to carry out immediate and powerful strikes in the Gaza Strip," a statement issued moments ago by the Prime Minister's office indicates. "Following security consultations, Prime Minister Netanyahu instructed the military to immediately carry out powerful strikes in the Gaza Strip," a statement from his office says. Netanyahu has accused Hamas of committing a "clear violation" of the ceasefire deal. Though the past over 2-weeks in which the Hamas ceasefire has held has witnessed intermittent flare-ups in fighting, this could be the big one which unravels the whole thing. Less than an hour before the new strikes were ordered by Netanyahu, Fox News' Trey Yingst reported, "Hamas violated the ceasefire by attacking IDF soldiers in Rafah, I'm told by an Israeli military official." More at link Minister Amichai Eliyahu: 'Hamas must be completely destroyed' Minister Amichai Eliyahu calls for a much harsher response to Hamas’s ceasefire violations and says the goal must be to destroy the murderous terror organization. https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/416959 Minister Amichai Eliyahu urged that Hamas’s ceasefire violations be treated far more seriously and that the goal be the destruction of the murderous terrorist group. “We must stop treating the situation as if it were merely a violation of the agreement. A proportional response is not required here. Hamas must be destroyed completely. That should be the declaration, and the Prime Minister has justification for it in the eyes of the world,” Minister Eliyahu said in an interview with 103FM. He also argued that Israel needs to step up its public diplomacy and expose Hamas’s murderous nature to the world. “These are barbarians, the worst of Israel’s enemies, inhuman beasts - we have not shown the world enough of the atrocities they committed against us,” he said. _________________________

Israel needs to act decisively Now. Once the Multi-National Arab Force aka Human Shields are deployed in Gaza Israel won't be able to attack. ____________________________________________________ The butcher with the sharpest knife has the warmest heart.

I sound like a broken record (vinyl). Hamas has had control, including schools, for almost 20 years. The children are educated to hate Israel, the adults that did not support Hamas were killed. There is only a small minority of people in Gaza that are neutral or less. The Arab countries do not (my opinion) want to bear arms against Hamas - only want to provide police function for a Hamas-free Gaza. IDF and USA forces will have to destroy the armed Hamas, almost to the last man, before the Arabs will provide “policing”. YMMV on my opinions… No quarter .308/.223

Trump blocks Israeli plan to expand control in Gaza following ceasefire violation https://www.israelnationalnews.com/news/417032 Following a deadly ceasefire breach, Israel sought to seize additional territory in Gaza - but US President Trump vetoed the move. US President Donald Trump vetoed an Israeli proposal to shift the yellow line in the Gaza Strip and expand IDF control in response to a serious ceasefire violation by Hamas that resulted in the death of Master Sergeant (Res.) Yona Efraim Feldbaum. In the aftermath of the incident, Israel had planned for the IDF to assume control of the targeted area, contingent on American approval. However, Trump ultimately blocked the initiative. The decision raised eyebrows in Israel, particularly as it followed Trump’s own remarks in which he appeared to support a strong Israeli response. “They killed an Israeli soldier. So the Israelis hit back. And they should hit back,” Trump told reporters on Tuesday night, adding, “If Hamas does not behave, they will be terminated.” Meanwhile, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer is expected to fly to Washington next week to meet with senior US administration officials to discuss advancing the initiative. _________________________

The Yom Kippur War ended any chance that the surrounding nations would mount or want to be apart of any attack against Israel. After 30-years of loosing had taken its toll both Egypt and Jordan were done with conflict. Hamas thinking Hezbollah would open-up a second front ended with 10-days in September with one of finest sabotage attacks ever executed and Nasrallah eating several JDAM's

'The Dragon’s Prophecy': Watch D’Souza’s Epic Oct. 7 Documentary The cries of baby Kfir Bibas, the laughter of Hamas terrorists, the begging of young mothers, the cheers of Gazan mobs. They echo hauntingly two years after Oct. 7. Never Again happened in Israel in 2023, and it was not because Israel is a “colonizing” power, or because of mere border disputes. The truth is much older, much darker, and much more profound than that. The Chosen People of God fight against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12). That is the message of Dinesh D’Souza and Salem Media’s new movie The Dragon’s Prophecy, which is coming to theaters Oct. 6 and 8 and to Salem Media’s streaming platform Oct. 9. In this thought-provoking, soul-stirring, and heart-wrenching film, D’Souza exposes the graphic brutality of Oct. 7, the demonic nature of antisemitism and Islam, the Biblical and archeological basis for Israel’s claims, and the apocalyptic importance of this ages-old clash between God and the dragon. D’Souza summed up all the historical evidence in the movie: “Biblical archeology is confirmation of the ancient presence of the Jews in Israel. Far from being colonizers, the Jews are the original and indigenous inhabitants of the region. Moreover, the Jews of today are the descendants of the ancient Israelites, the Jews of the Bible. Today’s Jews speak the same language, eat the same food, perform the same rites and rituals, and worship the same God.” The nation of Israel, author Jonathan Cahn stated, is a “resurrected nation.” The movie takes on the biggest lies about Israel. As Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “This has been our land for 3500 years since Abraham came here….we were often conquered,” but “it’s not [the Jews] who colonized the area from the Arabs, it’s the Arabs who colonized the area from the Jews.” What other people in history besides the Jews has reclaimed their own land after millennia? It’s a “miracle,” as Jonathan Cahn said. And as Ze’ev Orenstein and the other archeologists and experts testified, standing in ancient Jewish ruins in Jerusalem, Shiloh, Megiddo, Capernaum, and Nazareth, from the City of David to the cave of the Annunciation to St. Peter’s house to the pool of Siloam, the Jews’ claim to Israel is as clearly written on and in the land as it is on the pages of Scripture (Genesis 17:8). Yet much of the world bought the lie that the Israelis were the cause of the conflict, instead of the victims trying to defend from genocidal invaders. “Palestinians celebrated as Hamas terrorists paraded their prisoners,” D’Souza said, showing horrifying footage filmed by the terrorists themselves and the jubilant “civilians” of Gaza of cold-blooded murders, desecration of bodies, heartrending kidnappings, and charred corpses. An Oct. 7 survivor from the Nova Music Festival, whose partner was shot down, remembered how the music turned to rocket fire, how she and others ran and took cover, how she survived the subsequent massacre lying under a heap of dead and dismembered bodies, and how the Hamas jihadis laughed and laughed with triumph. Another survivor, kibbutz resident Lishai Miran, remembered hunkering down with her family, how Hamas jihadis murdered her teenaged neighbor and kidnapped her husband Omri. She swept her hand at the area around her home — “all this was blood.” Recalling the Holocaust, Lishai mourned, “the Jew[s] always say never again, but unfortunately never again happened on Oct. 7…they burned, they raped, they killed, they kidnapped.” The Jews are living witness to the truth of the Bible, and the dragon Satan hates them for it. “For the Jews, these conflicts have been going on since the founding of the state of Israel in 1948, for Iran it goes back to 1979,” D’Souza said. “But in some ways, the conflict has deeper roots, it goes back to the founding of Islam itself in the seventh century,” and even farther back to the pagans who tried to wipe out the Israelites. https://pjmedia.com/catherines...documentary-n4944455 "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." -- Justice Janice Rogers Brown "The United States government is the largest criminal enterprise on earth." -rduckwor

I saw a recent news article about Israel arming Druze people in Syria. 500 rifles was the figure given along with other equipment and munitions. For the last two years there have been scores of videos showing large quantities of small arms captured by the IDF from Hamas and Hezbollah. Every time I see those images, I think that Israel now has enough captured rifles to arm every one of its citizens with their choice of either an AR or AK. Anyone here have any knowledge of that? Edited to add: I was also wondering if there would be a flood of these captured rifles showing up at gun shows. However, I imagine they are mostly/all fully automatic so that's not likely. Maybe parts kits sans receivers? This message has been edited. Last edited by: John Steed, ... stirred anti-clockwise.
