I don’t envy Israel in this work they must do. There’s no peaceful reconciliation with radical Islam and they are surrounded by it. It is creeping into our culture and if not repelled, we’ll be surrounded by it. But their threat is critically more present and the only way to peace is the destruction of radical Islam. It is truly a biblical conflict. Rooting radical Islam out will be messy, destructive and unpopular. Most will not see the value of it. Some will oppose and some will ally themselves with radical Islam in spite of its evil methods and practices.

This conflict is not just Israel’s. It is a conflict that comes for everyone who doesn’t bend the knee and convert no matter where one hides nor how he complies. The conflict with evil is a tar baby. It must be engaged and there’s no quick nor clean way out. Any attempt to do so will result in failure and more strength to the tar baby. If you noted I freely associate and substitute radical Islam and evil, that is intentional. Radical Islam is evil incarnate. The only question is how nuanced is the line between Islam and radical Islam. When and where does that occur? Until that is defined, there’s no way to protect the innocent since in human nature, the more present a threat is, the more generally it is defined.

How do we remain righteous while destroying evil when it has no rules? No. I don’t envy Israel.

I don't believe there is a radical Islam and Islam, or moderate Islam. As President Erdogan of Turkey/Turkiye is quoted as saying, "There is no moderate or immoderate Islam. Islam is Islam and that's it." I agree with Mr. Erdogan...
