New memo from the Biden Campaign

“If we do see changes in polling in the coming weeks, it will not be the first time that overblown media narratives have driven temporary dips in the polls.”

I'm certain their past graft has them set for life, but I'm equally certain they have a form of campaign graft underway right now which is ghostwriters commissioned to churn out biographies for both Joe and Jill. Of course, the campaign will buy tens of thousands of copies of each, give a few as gifts, rent some warehouse space, quit making payment on the warehouse rental, and the warehouse owner (probably a politically connected person) will quietly trash the remaining books in a few years.

WSJ :

What would happen to the Biden campaign’s funds?

The Biden-Harris campaign has raised a considerable amount of money toward his re-election, and campaign-finance experts say that cash can’t simply be transferred to another candidate if Biden drops out—unless that candidate is Harris, who would just inherit the campaign committee. Were Harris to assume the top of the ticket, funds donated toward the Biden-Harris campaign would be at her disposal since she and Biden were running together.

https://www.wsj.com/politics/e...t-explained-8dc13b35

This looks to be consistent with FEC:

A federal candidate committee may contribute up to $2,000 per election to the committee of another federal candidate.

Biden has raised about $ 250 million

Biden will “suspend” his campaign and keep the $250 million for himself?

And no, he can't just keep the money for his own personal use.

You need to take care to notice whether they "suspend" the campaign vs "ending" it. They could theoretically give it to the DNC.

Also, it's possible to transfer those funds to a "leadership PAC", which is a political committee that can be controlled by the former candidate but is not used to support that person’s campaigns. Instead, it backs a political agenda – including other candidates – the candidate supports. Leadership PACs have been criticized for functioning as “slush funds” for politicians to spend on travel and entertainment they can’t buy with regular campaign donations.

In theory, they could create a "leadership PAC" and appoint family members to leadership positions within the PAC and pay them salaries... It's some pretty incestuous stuff. Roll Eyes

I gotta say it. Swapping Kinzinger and Cheney for one Tulsi was a solid move. We still came out on top with that trade.

have looked deeper into the biden campaign fund issue.

On the FEC Statement of Organization form for biden, it lists:

Name of Candidate as "Joseph Biden, Kamala Harris" and the "Office Sought" is "President"

I think this is why WSJ is saying if biden drops out, the $200 million can only be transferred to Harris (if Kamala becomes the DEM nominee)

The question of what happens to the money is tricky. The money can be given to charity. But it cannot be used for personal expenses.

I am not an expert on this topic, but I think if biden drops out, say Newsom is the nominee, then whether Newsom wins or loses, Harris could keep the 200 million for 2028

If the Biden team truly believes that Joe "just had a bad night", they should offer (and the MSM demand) to have a news conference once a week - with reporters chosen at random by a disinterested third party.

I believe the voters are entitled to see this high-functioning President actually function!

Yes, if that’s the case, then FJB should order Comrade Garland to immediately release “the Hur” recording in full and un-redacted to prove that FJB is in fact mentally capable!

I ain’t holding my breath either!
