It seems politicians are quick to calculate a number -- "we need 47 kajillion dollars!" -- but mighty slow to show an actual spending plan for those dollars with true measurable goals.

God bless America.

No surprise that a CNN poll would reflect the wrong things. The poll said that 49% of those polled were most concerned about Biden's age, while a whopping 7% each were most concerned about his health, mental sharpness, and his ability to do his job.

Yes, let's just forget that the most troubling thing about Biden is that he's an amoral, entirely corrupt, pathologically-lying, America-hating asshole who display complete and open contempt for American citizens.

But the most telling thing in the article is a remark by the ever-lying James Carville.
quote:
"For me to come on television and say I don't find this alarming or troubling at all, it'd be stupid of me."
In other words, he would lie if there were a chance he could pull it off. He has no idea how very revealing is that remark.

Yes.

I’m sure that has been the plan all along. Deplete our oil reserves. Falsely allude that we’re ready to produce like we did during Trump. Pull the carpet out from under the whole shebang. Keep pushing electric cars. DemocRATS are liars by nature so it shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Possible diesel shortage and no strategic petroleum reserve to draw from. Stop drilling in Alaska too. Biden truly can screw things up.

Russia Set To Slash Diesel Exports In September

https://oilprice.com/Latest-En...ts-In-September.html

Amid refinery maintenance and rising domestic fuel prices, Russia is set to cut its diesel exports from its ports on the Baltic and Black Seas by nearly 25% in September compared to the export plans for August, Bloomberg reported on Friday, quoting industry data it had seen.

The shipments of diesel out of Russia’s western ports, including some exports from Belarus, are planned at 1.874 million tons in September, or 466,000 barrels per day (bpd), down from about 600,000 bpd planned for August exports, according to Bloomberg’s calculations.

The plan for diesel exports in September lays out the lowest shipments since May this year when spring refinery maintenance was in place.

Now the autumn refinery maintenance is also slashing diesel exports out of Russia.

The primary oil refining capacity that will be offline in Russia is set to soar by 44% in September compared to August amid seasonal maintenance, according to Reuters estimates based on data from industry sources.

As much as 4.635 million metric tons of Russia’s refining capacity is expected to be offline this month, industry sources have told Reuters.

Russia’s authorities are also recommending refineries curb exports and sell more fuel domestically to meet local demand, but the recommendation is not legally binding, according to Bloomberg.

Lower diesel shipments overseas would mean lower export revenues for Russia, which continues to earn billions of U.S. dollars each month from exports of crude and products.

Russia’s crude oil and refined products exports remained steady at some 7.3 million bpd in July, while higher oil prices and narrower price differentials for Russian crude pushed Moscow’s revenues higher compared to June, according to estimates by the International Energy Agency (IEA) in its market report in August. Russia’s export revenues, at $15.3 billion in July, rose by $2.5 billion from June, but they were $4.1 billion lower compared to July 2022, the agency’s estimates showed.

Hunter Biden testified recently that he was embarrassed by “offensive” content published from his laptop after he dropped it off for repair at The Mac Shop in Wilmington, Delaware, on April 12, 2019 — but still denies that the laptop or its contents are his.

The first son provided confusing and often contradictory testimony under oath on June 29 during a six-hour deposition related to a defamation action brought by John Paul Mac Isaac, the owner of the now-defunct computer repair shop, who accuses Hunter of falsely insisting the laptop was not his, or was stolen, or that his information was hacked.

Hunter is countersuing Mac Isaac, accusing him of illegally distributing his personal data and invading his privacy.

Portions of Hunter’s deposition are revealed for the first time in the opening brief of a motion filed by Mac Isaac, in Delaware Superior Court late Thursday, to dismiss the countersuit with prejudice.

Hunter refused to admit in his deposition that he visited The Mac Shop twice in April 2019, despite Mac Isaac presenting evidence that Hunter signed a work order and provided his contact information.

Bank records that Hunter was required to hand over to Mac Isaac’s legal team also show “frequent uses of Wells Fargo ATMs where significant withdrawals were made — all within a few miles of Mac Isaac’s shop,” the filing says.

Although Hunter claimed he “is without knowledge” as to his whereabouts on April 12, 2019, “Mac Isaac knows exactly where he was.”

Hunter’s “confused and dishonest responses prove fatal to all facts alleged in his counterclaims.”

Hunter claimed he was “embarrassed” by publication of private material that would be “highly offensive to a reasonable person,” according to the filing, yet much of the material that a reasonable person would find most offensive, such as sexually explicit photos, was “voluntarily shared by [Hunter] Biden with others through the website, ‘Pornhub.’ …

“The use of the ‘reasonable person’ standard should clearly not apply to Biden … It seems what would embarrass a reasonable person does not embarrass Biden.”

n his deposition, Hunter also:

Gave “confused and dishonest responses” about whether he dropped off the laptop with Mac Isaac on April 12, 2019, or returned a day or two later at Mac Isaac’s request with an external hard drive onto which his data could be transferred.

Refused to admit that the laptop was his. “He either doesn’t recall or denies it altogether.”

“Hems and haws about how embarrassing the content of the laptop was while, at the same time, failing to identify what content and if it was even his content.”

Said he was “without knowledge” that he had received voicemail messages and emails from Mac Isaac about his laptop asking him to bring in an external hard drive, pay his repair bill and pick up his property.

Claimed he did not give consent to Mac Isaac to access the data on his laptop even though he signed a work order.
Refused to deny that he signed the work order.

Claimed that the “boilerplate terms of the Repair Authorization” on the work order were “well below the signature line” even though he is a trained attorney and signed the document.

Referred to the Repair Authorization as a “typical small-print adhesion clause for which there was no proper notice or opportunity to bargain or negotiate.” But, according to the filing, the text is “not abnormally small” and is the same size as the rest of the work order.

Hunter abandoned his laptop at Mac Isaac’s store in April 2019 and never returned to pick it up or pay his bill, despite multiple attempts by Mac Isaac to contact him by phone and email.

“After obtaining the rights to the laptop pursuant to the contract signed by Biden, Mac Isaac grew uneasy with the seemingly illegal activities cataloged in the laptop.

“As he was taught to do at the Apple Store and in accordance with his own convictions, he made contact with the FBI. Soon thereafter, on December 9, 2019, Mac Isaac gave the laptop, the original hard drive, and the original work order to the FBI.”

The FBI verified the authenticity of Hunter’s abandoned laptop in November 2019 “by matching the device number against Hunter Biden’s Apple iCloud ID,” IRS supervisory agent Gary Shapley testified to Congress in June.

An FBI computer expert assessed that the laptop “was not manipulated in any way” and could be used as evidence, Shapley said.

The IRS investigation of Hunter also accessed financial records showing he was at a cigar shop near Mac Isaac’s store in Wilmington, Del., the day the laptop was dropped off.

https://dailycaller.com/2023/0...ting-spirits-report/

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) told dozens of federal agencies to adopt “Indigenous Knowledge” for “research, policies, and decision making,” in a November 2022 memo. In April, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) hosted a webinar titled “Incorporating Indigenous Knowledges into Federal Research and Management,” in which a speaker warned scientists about “disrespecting” indigenous knowledge, including “spirits.”

“When you ask for knowledge and you take it and use it in a way that you didn’t intend or you misuse it, you’re not only disrespecting that individual that you sought that knowledge from,” Traditional Ecological Knowledge Outreach Specialist Melonee Montano said in the April webinar attended by scientists. “You’re disrespecting the teachers that they obtained the knowledge from. You’re disrespecting those spirits that may have brought that knowledge to them through a dream.”

the November OSTP memo also suggests collaborating with “spiritual leaders.” The White House has published over three dozen documents that positively reference “Indigenous Knowledge,” according to the Free Beacon’s investigation. A December memo states the Biden administration acknowledges that “Indigenous Knowledge … contributes to the scientific, technical, social, and economic advancements of the United States.”

On the state level, Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources’ Deputy Director M. Kaleo Manuel advocated for “indigenous knowledge” and delayed a request for water diversion to fight the Maui wildfires due to possible impacts on a local farmer, according to a letter sent by a Hawaiian water management campaign.

Manuel prioritized incorporating “indigenous knowledge to the fields of water advocacy and management in Hawaii,” which allegedly could have contributed to the worsening of the Hawaii wildfires.

Montano is currently on a leave of absence

Indigenous Knowledge is a body of observations, oral and written knowledge, innovations, practices, and beliefs developed by Tribes and Indigenous Peoples through interaction and experience with the environment. The Biden-Harris Administration has formally recognized Indigenous Knowledge as one of the many important bodies of knowledge that contributes to the scientific, technical, social, and economic advancements of the United States and our collective understanding of the natural world.

“As the original stewards of the natural environment, Tribes and Indigenous communities have expertise critical to finding solutions to the climate crisis and protecting our nation’s ecosystems,” said CEQ Chair Brenda Mallory. “The guidance released today will help ensure that their voices are included across the Federal Government for the collective benefit of our communities and the planet.”

Biden Releases Iranian Agents AND $6bn to Islamic Republic on 9/11.

https://thenationalpulse.com/2...ic-republic-on-9-11/

The United States has agreed to swap prisoners with the Islamic Republic of Iran as well as releasing $6 billion in previously frozen funds.

A blanket waiver, issued by President Joe Biden’s State Department on September 11th, will allow international banks in South Korea to transfer $6 billion to Qatar’s central bank for Iran’s use without triggering U.S. sanctions.

Congress was informed of the deal on Monday, despite Secretary of State Antony Blinken reportedly having signed off on the agreement last week.

The five Iranian prisoners held by the U.S. to be swapped are reported to be: Mehrdad Moein Ansari, Kambiz Attar Kashani, Reza Sarhangpour Kafrani, Amin Hassanzadeh, Kaveh Afrasiabi. Kambiz Attar Kashani and Reza Sarhangpour Kafrani were imprisoned “…for conspiring to illegally export U.S. goods and technology to end users in Iran…” in violation of U.S. sanctions according to the Department of Justice. Kaveh Afrasiabi was arrested for acting as an unregistered foreign agent for Iran, having lobbied both Congress and the State Department for policies favorable to the Islamic Republic. Michigan resident Amin Hasanzadeh was imprisoned for stealing a U.S. company’s trade secrets and conspiring to share them with the Iranian military through his brother who still resides in Iran. Mehrdad Ansari was also imprisoned over a scheme to circumvent U.S. sanctions.

At this time it is unclear what, or who, the U.S. will receive from the Islamic Republic of Iran as part of the agreement.

Biden claims he was at Ground Zero day after 9/11 — but his own book puts him in DC

WASHINGTON — President Biden said Monday that he was at the World Trade Center site in New York City one day after the 9/11 attacks — despite his own autobiography placing him in DC.

The 80-year-old president also claimed he saw the fireball caused by the plane that struck the Pentagon in northern Virginia from Washington’s Union Station, when his own book says he merely saw “a brown haze of smoke.”

“Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. And I felt like I was looking through the gates of hell,” Biden told US troops in Anchorage, Alaska, on the 22nd anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

“It looked so devastating because the way you could, from where you could stand. Shanksville, Pa., the Pentagon in Virginia — I spent many 9/11s in those hollow grounds to bear witness and remember those we lost,” he went on.

Moments later, the president claimed that he saw the immediate aftermath of American Airlines Flight 77 striking the Pentagon.

“The plume of fire that shot up in the sky in Pentagon [sic] — I remember seeing as I got off the Amtrak train on my way to work in the United States Senate,” Biden mused.

The president’s 2007 autobiography “Promises to Keep” gives a different account of his actions on 9/11 and the day that followed.

Biden wrote that he arrived in Washington on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, after American Airlines Flight 77 struck the Pentagon and “I could see a brown haze of smoke hanging in the otherwise crystal-clear sky beyond the Capitol dome.”

He wrote in the book, “I headed back to the Capitol the next morning” — Sept. 12, 2001.

The book doesn’t describe any trip to Ground Zero, much less on the day after the attacks as search and rescue work was ongoing — despite describing Biden speaking to University of Delaware students on Sept. 19, 2001, and visiting a mosque in Newark, N.J. two days after that.

A Gannett News Wire report from Sept. 12, 2001 began: “Delaware Sen. Joe Biden spent Wednesday exactly where he wanted — in the U.S. Senate.”

It's the only way he can relate: "It happened to me, too, so I'm one of you. See?"

But, the truth is, he's an empty shell. There's really nothing there. It might be proper to feel sorry for him, if he wasn't destroying this nation.
