Youtube is playing games with this video and starting it right at the end.I refreshed it and started it at the beginning and emailed it to myself,and it still starts at the end.

This isn't some nefarious plot by Youtube...

The t=250 at the end of the URL that RichardC posted means "Time=250 seconds" or "start at 250 seconds into the video". 250 seconds is 4 minutes and 10 seconds, the exact length of the video. Thus if you click on that link it actually takes you to the end of the video.

When you generate a shareable link from Youtube, you have the option to do so from the current time in the video you're watching, like if you want to highlight a specific section of a long video, or send a link to just the one joke you wanted to share out of the entire comedy routine. RichardC must have watched the whole 4:10 video, then tried to generate a shareable link from Youtube, and overlooked that he was actually generating a link to his current position in the video (at the end of it).

You then copied this same timestamped URL and emailed it to yourself, which of course then led you back to the end of the video when you clicked on it again from your email.

If you remove the t=250 portion and just go to https://youtu.be/8FqGPbs0G0w? then this non-timestamped URL starts at the beginning of the video as normal, rather than from a specific time (at the end of the video).

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has been nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, joining President Donald Trump and Russia's President Vladimir Putin in names put forward.

British lawmaker Chris Bryant, a Labour Party member of the U.K. Parliament, told the Evening Standard he put forward the Democrat on Monday.

"When others have resorted to violent solutions, he has argued that the best force is the force of argument," he told the newspaper.

"Because guns can stop a heart but well-placed words can change many hearts, and many hearts can change a world."


The nomination comes just ahead of Biden and Trump going head-to-head in the first general election debate.

It comes with Trump having received his third nomination for the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize. He has also been put forward in previous years.
