I'd venture to say that they are already looking at the schedule to hold said vote.

And everyone should take note, that this kind of thing WILL NEVER BE OVER.

UNLESS we vote the GDCs out of office, to the point they hold NO power whatsoever.

No more single vote majorities, no more bullshit. Put them in the backseat where they so deservidly belong to be.

Electoral elimination - crush them in November and every two years after that.

Schedule the vote. And start preparing for victory.

I don't believe this next act in the "Circus" is going to change anyone's mind.

This. Let's have a real investigation, sources, money, contacts, phone records. Let the dirty democratic truth see daylight.

The FBI is pretty busy, getting docs for Congress, preparing for appearances on the Hill. They might not have the manpower to get right to it.

However, if I can be so bold, there is an experienced senior investigator from the FBI with not much to do these days.

Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Democrats and Republicans will spin this to fit their agendas. No different than FOX and NBC. You'd think they were watching a different hearing by what they've reported.

Keep positive thoughts and hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

GOP will say 7th FBI investigation again found nothing, ok let's vote.

More ammo for them to fight off any possible Dimwit's attempt at impeachment later.

Here is what the Rs get from this: cover.

The FBI investigated, and there is nothing to it. This will help with the charge of being the "He-Man Woman Haters Club" that the Dems will attempt to lay on them in November.

Just what I was telling my wife.
On the margins, appearing to cater to these demands will make a difference. Less excuse for post-confirmation protests and even--what is being proposed--attempts to "impeach" Kavanaugh off the bench.

But yeah, we need 99 more Tom Cottons in the Senate. He is my hero.
