The decision to shut down CNN+ just weeks after it launched marked a stunning end to the streaming news service. Executives had touted the application as the most significant launch since Ted Turner founded CNN in 1980.
Well, it was sort of a milestoneyardstone blip .

Greg Gutfeld seems to take extreme pleasure of CNN+ shutting down and keeps bringing up Chris Wallace's name at every opportunity, inopportune it may be.

We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Salty is right- these commies deserve no sympathy.

Greg Gutfeld explained his uber glee by pointing out that CNN likes to cancel people, tried to get fox shows cancelled, fox people fired, etc. so he doesn't have much sympathy.
Someone also surmised they started CNN+ before the takeover completion as a money transfer to people that the new owners won't be able to go after.

He's 74 years old, for God's sake. Here's a suggestion- retire.
Oh I know his ego won't allow that, but he's been paid well for a long time and most people have retired at his age. He could do it, but, you know, the world needs him.

Jake Tapper will not have a problem finding a good job. Cooper doesn't need one. Chris Wallace...who cares.
Edited to add: Hmmm. All three white males. Hmmmm.
