Shocking! CHP lost everything? No booking records in Napa County? Why, it's as if nothing happened. Shocking..

CHP won’t have his mugshot, it’s with jail staff at the Napa County Department of Corrections. Per state law, agencies aren’t allowed to release mugshots in cases that aren’t serious and where there is no continuing danger to the public. DUI’s are usually given a court date 60 days after their arrest. Up until the case arrives on the desk of the charging DA, there is no court record of the arrest. Being that this involved a traffic collision as well as DUI, it could be a few weeks for the CHP to finish the report and send it to the DA. I know of numerous celebrities and other well connected people (see Gavin newsom’s buddy) who have gotten arrested, charged and convicted in this county.

Sometimes being right most of the time is sad.

You really hope you are wrong, but you know better.

How many here really think this is going anywhere?

What is the equivalent of a LEO Flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong?

If he doesn't cave that is his future.

I can think of more than a few ways this goes away.

Number one on my list was the evidence of the blood test is lost.

Number two on my list the arresting officer was always on vacation when this come for trial. Rights to a speedy trial violated, case dismissed.

Number three DA caves, no prosecution or alternative handling what ever that means for the rich and connected.

https://www.snopes.com/news/20...dui-charges-dropped/

Not that Snopes is a great source, but Googling this reveals no mainstream media coverage of a dismissal and a Snopes entry saying its unsubstantiated, plus the post above giving an actual breakdown of how these cases move through court there makes me think this is not the case.

If this (charges being dropped) is true, I hope someone is willing to do a FOIA on the body cam video, to include exchanges between the officer and his supervisor(s). I heard last night that four hours transpired between Pelosi's arrest and his blood draw. That could result in an BA (Blood-Alcohol level) that wouldn't give an accurate reading of what degree of impairment he was when detained/arrested. Very concerning about special treatment here and it's in the public interest to see what (if anything) led to the evidence collection delay.

In case folks don't know, The Pelosis and Gov. Gavin Newsom are related through marriage. Nancy is Gavin's aunt.

If it were true the charges were dropped, I think it would be all over the news by now. I have checked multiple news sights and there is nothing.

Ok, I live Napa County....there's zero confirmation that I've been able to find/hear from friend's within gov and LEO that the charges against Pelosi has been dropped. As far as everyone knows, the investigation and filing process is ongoing and won't be complete until next week.

We should hold-off any outrage/I-told-you-so, until there's wider confirmation.

Not unusual, I recently sat on a case where there was a 6-hour difference between when officers came upon the scene and when blood was drawn by a medical professional. Testimony from the sample taker and examiner, who did the math on BAC degradation and what readings 'could've been' at the time officers first contact.

I wouldn't count out any future legal shenanigans but at this point that article isn't true.
Seems a bit odd that they haven't criminally charged him yet but maybe at this upcoming court date.

Semantics.

The cops arrest him and end up citing him into court. Case gets sent to the DA for a charging decision. DA likely has a certain number of days to file. They also likely get hundreds of cases and they are handled in an assembly line fashion.

The other thing about this and all the conspiracy shit is that this is a wealthy, elderly guy who caught a misdemeanor drunk driving charge. He can take it. It's not like he's trying to get a job, go to school somewhere, etc.

No. It’s not. He hasn’t even been arraigned yet. The highway patrol arrested him because they had probable cause to believe that he was driving under the influence of alcohol when he crashed his Porsche into another car that night. They did their investigation and gathered evidence. In this case a breath or blood sample. All that information will be compiled and submitted to the DA for review.

He was cited out the night he was arrested and given a court date in August just like the other drunks that got hooked that night. Until that time, when all the reports have been submitted and reviewed, there aren’t any charges filed.

Allison Haley is a damn good DA in a sea of Boudins and other douchebags. Let the system run its course before you all get sucked into this conspiratorial vortex.
