To be more specific, whatever somebody finds thats improves their quality of life is fine, especially those that suffer from age, disease, and/or injury. I suffered a TBI myself which has unfortunately left me with some awful at times neuro pain damage that for several years left me relegated to pain management and the use of round the clock dosages of morphine and other opiates to manage the pain. I quit because of the nasty side effects of the meds, horrible withdrawals I might add. These days I've consider different alternative approaches to manage the really difficult pain some days. I was under the care of a therapist assigned after my TBI and also diagnosed with PTSD mostly because of the experience and abrupt changes in my life in addition to the pain and brain damage. Not much has really changed since, I just manage to find what helps me cope or manage changes day to day. I've never considered the use of hallucinogens for treatment or management, but think of it more as a kinda reality distraction of sorts for a short period of time I guess. Long term treatment I'd not be too sure about, I couldn't see living in that state or condition anymore than I could see using the opiates. I do know that I found myself at times desperate to find a solution to severe pain, I'm still making choices today how to manage. If that works for others to use those types of drugs I understand, for me, not so much, I'll continue my search. Regards, Will G.

Read my last paragraph above, I don't. But if it works for others I understand. Regards, Will G.

I was on reddit reading about this earlier and someone made a good summary of the mixed politics in CO. Made me laugh. In a nutshell... "We just want gay married couples to be able to protect their pot plants with semi-automatic rifles."

That's called being a Libertarian. Smoke dope, shoot machine guns, fuck dudes, I don't care, just consent.

Libertarian political philosophy is kind of elegant.
