How dare you inject common sense into this topic. My god man, there's simply no place for any of that. Wink

So the shemale can bring natural testosterone to the track meet to gain advantage over the estrogen laden females and the school officials are cool with it.

However if a girl is caught taking PEDs or testosterone treatments to gain muscle mass, that’s cheating and she’s banned from competition.

Makes sense. Roll Eyes

IMO, there are 3 "genders": masculine, feminine, and neuter--those are grammatical constructs and gender should not be used as a substitute for "sex". There are only 2 sexes: male and female, and all living organisms exist within only those 2 (although a few may have both).

Slight FIFY in an effort at insuring accuracy. Men born as men are always men regardless the drugs and/or mutilation they go through trying to prove the contrary.

Kindly don't edit me. I meant what I said. These people aren't men anymore. They're not women either. It's fine for wandering around in the world, they can do that.

They don't belong in competition, no matter what they're called. Of course the biology is unchanged, thats the core issue. But they aren't men.

I hadn't thought of it that way, but I agree. They are not men. I think they are males chromosomally though.

I struggle with knowing what is grammatically correct and speaking with common structure and vocabulary. I gave up years ago because defending correctness against ignorance became tedious. There is a line I won't cross, but I have relaxed on details. I say gender though I know it's sex, but I won't abandon gerunds nor the subjunctive tense.

If you follow golf at all, you may remember Anika Sorenstam. She DOMINATED the LPGA and wanted to play in a PGA event. She got crushed to the point of tears and admitted she could not compete against the men on courses set up for men.

And as a friend of mine once said, there are no bisexual men, you either suck dick or you don't.

What does this have to do with transgenders, or the discussion at hand? It's a big world. Somewhere out there are bisexual men not interested in sucking dick.

Point taken on editing your comments. However, I respectfully disagree with this comment. We as a society have to engage in a huge game of linguistic gymnastics (and/or dishonesty) to play the game these people are playing today. How these folks think, act, or behave is utterly irrelevant IMO. Genetically they were male at birth, will be male throughout their lives, and will die male, regardless the chemical or medical manipulation they engage in to try and feed their delusions. However, in the mean time, while the country struggles to try and accommodation this incredibly small and mentally unstable segment of the population, society as a whole (and women specifically) are the worse for it.

I was referring to the comments earlier in the thread about bisexuals. I was crude, and for that I apologize.

The Olympics had become almost irrelevant in years past, and this moronic move virtually guarantees no one will be watching in the future. Really sad to see it come to this.
