I have a simple solution. For a long time, there was only attention given to male sports, then there was support for women's sports. Why not just create a 3rd category? Transgender sports. Let the males who identify as females compete with the Dykes who take testosterone--that should be an interesting venue.

This will probably happen at some point. What will happen first and be even more damaging, is the demoralization of actual women and girls who play sports. Those who want to compete and win, will leave sports, because the game is rigged when the competition used to be a man. It will be widespread damage to womens competitive sports as a whole.

As the saying goes, my predictions are generally poor, especially about the future, but sooner or later this must be sorted out. This has been my stance all along. You were born one or the other. If you transform yourself, say, from a male to female morphology, you are not a woman. You are a man with mutilated genitalia.

I saw a girl try to play tackle football in high school. She got knocked out in about her 5th or 6th practice. I mean out out. Nighty night irene knocked out.

Transgender in sports cross playing their gender I think is lunacy. It robs others of their ability to compete at their sport.

Some sports don't do womens/mens like wrestling, go for it.
Others do. I would be pissed as hell if my daughter worked her ass of for years to be the best women's whatever and some dude walked out in a dress and stole it from her.

IMHO, if you're born with an Y chromosome then you're a guy; no Y then you're a girl. How you 'identity', what surgeries you've had, what drugs you've taken, how you dress, etc., doesn't make a shit.

Opening up all combat roles to women was met with a societal collective yawn...but make them compete with biological men in sports, now there is a controversy! Someone might get hurt.

I have a high school aged son, he's a very talented runner. Can run 5min miles, 12min cross country 2 mile runs, 18min 5ks, and 1/2 marathons around an hour and a half.

Awhile back, I signed up my cousin for an event, as well as my son. My cousin had some health issues, so she couldn't make the trip for the event. As a joke I had my son wear his race bib, as well as her time tracker.

A few weeks later, my cousin contacted me. She had gotten a trophy in the mail for placing 2nd in the Women's +50y/o group with a pretty good time. I gave my kid crap for placing 2nd in the +50y/o women's group.

I guess if a 15y/o male can identify as a 50y/o female, it opens plenty of options for him...

Oh, I totally agree with you! I posited my solution since I don't think there's a chance in the Nether Region that yours would be returned to.

As things stand right now, they might as well just repeal "Title IX" because female sports will simply die off.
