"It's interesting to me that while others accused of sex things immediately apologized, Moore stood up to the allegations and declared them false. That sounds like an innocent man to me." Yep. Sean Hannity did the same thing and he is still on the air. MSM media is obviously not covering the lies of the accusers. I hope the people of Alabama see through this crap and do the right thing. Jones is trying to paint himself as someone he is not but make not mistake he is pro abortion (even partial birth), wants open orders and amnesty, is pro big government, and is for drastic gun bans.

I despise George Soros http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...lons-vote-roy-moore/ An organization partnered with a George Soros-financed group and led by a radical leftist who is the half-brother of the infamous controversial Rev. Al Sharpton has been diligently working over the past few weeks to register convicted felons across Alabama. The aim of the effort has been to get as many felons as possible on the roster before last Monday, the deadline to register in order to vote in Alabama’s Dec. 12 senate special election that pits Republican Roy Moore against Democratic challenger Doug Jones. The man spearheading the campaign has stated outright that his effort is meant to ensure a Democratic victory in Alabama. Speaking on his radio program, Glasgow charged that “swarming the polls” with newly registered convicts could swing the vote, pointing as a template to the Virginia governor’s race. In that state, Gov. Terry McAuliffe used his executive power in April to restore voting rights for over 200,000 felons. “We have the chance to do the same thing they did in Virginia,” A Soros-funded group called the Campaign Legal Center filed the lawsuit against Alabama last year calling for a public educational campaign to inform felons of their regained right to vote. The litigation is still ongoing. Besides funding from Soros, the Campaign Legal Center documents that it receives financing from the Soros-funded Tides Foundation and from the Soros-funded Brennan Center for Justice. Doug Jones himself has spearheaded numerous Brennan projects, including one seeking full voting rights nationwide be given to all felons released from prison regardless of their crimes. ************ Let's really hope Roy Moore is elected.

Yeah, and that's...probably not really the kind of publicity that Moore's opponent wants in a place like Alabama. Who knows how many people will be motivated to come out and vote against whoever the convicts want in office?

None of us can say conclusively that Moore is innocent of the accusations. And if he is ever proven guilty, Ill be the first to say so. But the accusations against him are far different than those of Weinstien(numerous and collaborating accusers plus admission that"I need help") and Franken (photographic evidence) and Conyers (tax payer money to cover up abuse). Moores accusers just waited 40 years to come forward. Not to mention the other damning facts about his accusers (see other Sig Forum thread). Only a true fool would vote for the democrat because of the BS democratic scheme. Moore would have to be proved guilty to consider not voting for the republican, and thats not going to happen. That would be voting for abortion, big government, higher taxes, increased intitlements, etc. etc. etc. And yes, giving the liberal left 1, probably 2 seats on the supreme court which would swing the court way to the left and change our country from now on. I couldnt do that to my kids and grandkids.

RNC is supporting Roy Moore again including financial support. http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...ind-judge-roy-moore/ "MOBILE, Alabama — The Republican National Committee (RNC) is now again backing Judge Roy Moore, the GOP nominee for the U.S. Senate in Alabama. The RNC’s decision to now publicly support Moore again comes in the wake of President Donald Trump’s wholehearted endorsement of Moore on Monday morning. “We stand with the president,” a senior RNC official told Breitbart News. The RNC notified the RNC members from Alabama on Monday afternoon that the national party would resume financial support to back the state party in its efforts to elect Moore to the U.S. Senate. At this time, since this development is fresh, it remains unclear exactly what that means, but sources close to RNC leadership told Breitbart News that it would become apparent in the coming days. Throughout this process, since the Washington Post published frivolous evidence-free allegations against Moore, the RNC’s position has closely mirrored the White House position on Moore. At first, the RNC held out criticism or withdrawal of support while the president was overseas in Asia on a multi-day, multi-country trip. Then, the RNC withdrew support — something the White House said it supported — while Trump himself had not yet weighed in. A week plus into the narrative, however, Trump himself noted that radical leftist Democrat Doug Jones is too extreme for Alabama to serve in the Senate and that Moore “totally denies” the allegations against him. At that point, RNC chair Ronna McDaniel said the voters of Alabama would decide. “[T]he allegations were obviously very concerning to the degree that we pulled our resources,” McDaniel said in an interview with radio host John Catsimatidis in late November: Roy Moore cannot be replaced on the ballot. He is the candidate. The Alabama party has stood by that. So now, the Alabama voters are going to have to be the judge and jury on this. They’re going to have to look at the women that have come forward with these very concerning allegations and then what [Moore] is putting forward and they’re going to have to make a decision as to whether or not they want him to represent their state in the United States Senate. But, now, as Breitbart News can exclusively reveal, the RNC has begun pouring resources back into Alabama as President Trump has lined up behind Judge Moore for the home stretch. Earlier on Monday, President Trump tweeted an endorsement of Moore."

With eight days to go, it can't hurt. It's not like anyone is going to seriously consider Moore indebted to the GOP leadership because of it.

A general comment on how perspectives have changed over the last 40 years The per cent of women who completed college: 2016 .. 33.7% 1977 .. 12% Median age of women at first marriage 2015 .. 27.1 yo 1977 .. 21.6 yo So 40 years ago, half of the women at first marriage were under 21.6 yo. A lot more young women back then went quickly from high school to marriage. Just pointing out that norms have changed over time. This message has been edited. Last edited by: sdy,

I wonder if Flake really should've made a point of saying that he's not running again. It kinda reduces him to a ball bearing in the pachinko palace that is Washington, D.C.

We opened this damn door ourselves (well the legislature and governor did). Passing the "Moral Turpitude" Act and the damn governor signed it. Felons should never have the vote again, and we gave it to them. However, the people of AL are not fooled by the bleating of the MSM. RMD TL Davis: “The Second Amendment is special, not because it protects guns, but because its violation signals a government with the intention to oppress its people…” Remember: After the first one, the rest are free.

McConnell will be a problem https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...rt-on-moore-n2418539 "There's been no change of heart," McConnell said. "I had hoped earlier he would withdraw as a candidate. That obviously is not going to happen." If elected, Moore would "immediately" be subjected to an ethics committee investigation, McConnell pledged.

McConnell knows Moore is antiEstablishment, but what can McConnell, or the ethics committee, really do to Moore?

'what can McConnell, or the ethics committee, really do to Moore?" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...ited_States_Congress If the ethics committee recommends action against Moore, there is a process that leads to a Senate vote. Moore could be expelled by 2/3 of the members voting You know every DEM would vote to expel, so it would take 19 REP senators to vote to expel. Would be very very ugly.

IMO that will never happen. Precedent on explusion has been only for activity while a person was a sitting senator and not before that. https://www.senate.gov/artandh...xpulsion_Censure.htm Date: 1893 Member: William N. Roach (D-ND) Charge: Embezzlement Result: Not Expelled Note: After extensive deliberation, the Senate took no action, assuming that it lacked jurisdiction over members' behavior before their election to the Senate. The alleged embezzlement had occurred 13 years earlier.
