The Supreme Court on Monday sided 6-3 with a football coach who was fired for praying on the field after games, marking another win for religious liberty delivered by the conservative-leaning court.

And I guess when SCOTUS rules that water is wet, it will still be a 6-3 ruling.

My first thought too. These leftists judges are unserious, silly people.

I know less than most on the topic. But I find it odd that so many were tearful when she died thinking she was the leader of the female movement.

Yet little is said about her thinking that the decision at the start was faulty. Now they all blame her for not leaving sooner?????

These companies are idiots and are just virtue-signaling.

We know some of these women are loons, but do they really want everyone in their workplace to know they went and had an abortion at company expense?

Well The Walt Disney Company was one of the company's that announced that it would now cover travel expenses related to out-of-state abortions.
It is interesting that the stock is worth about half of what it was worth a little over a year ago and they have not paid dividends in over two years, but they have the money to help cast members get abortions.

Fl law is currently a 15 week limit. Medical advice where health is an issue can expand it.

So after 15 weeks you're not sure what you want to do?

I didn't think "liberal" states even had "trigger" laws.

Liberal judges in red states is what he is saying.

Yes, Utah's abortion law just got halted by some such leftist judge. Same in Louisiana.

Which is an odd thing to do if you believe SCOTUS overruled the will of the people. The law in Michigan is literally the will of the people put to paper. Some leftists dug it up and shopped a leftist judge to issue a “stay”.

I haven't looked into it at all, but I imagine that the trigger laws, especially ones passed many years ago aren't tailored to today and probably mostly symbolic. There will likely be a round of new legislation for 2022 vs 1995 (or whenever).

Personally I'm not that deep in the weeds on either side. So I'm just happy for striking down BS prior rulings. Let's let our democratic Petri dish find the best solution on a local level, or federal legislation, which neither party could ever pass.

If nothing else, this will encourage more birth control, prophylactics, pulling out, discretion on partners, waiting for love, or not being ratchet sluts/fuck boys.

Irrelevant. It's still a law duly passed and signed by our representatives and governor. It is for the legislature to change or update the law. Not an activist judge.

Either way, I'm foreseeing a number of new laws and court cases until the dust settles. Kind of uncharted waters here. Likely will range from public paid abortion in CA to nearly outlawed in other states.

It's not settled quite yet, very in flux.

Nah, the only thing that matters is Roe at the federal level is history. One horrendously bad ruling by the high court is now gone. The rest will be worked out by the states over time, but a lot of these leftist idiots must be sado masochistic in that they apparently like to be beat down on a regular basis.

It’s actually going to be an interesting political science experiment. The politicians who for so long have been able to say essentially whatever they wanted to about abortion, but never actually do anything because of Roe/Casey, will now have to actually pass laws regulating abortion and be accountable to voters for what they do. I suspect things will be chaotic for a while but eventually settle out in a fairly predictable way - liberal states will allow abortion liberally and conservative states will allow it conservatively.
