Far west Illinois, far east Iowa are experiencing a shortage of places that people want to work.

7 places that I visited last week had
help wanted signs on them.

Businesses are opening later, closing earlier and going out of business because they can't find employees

Legos and Hot Wheels...at least at Target. The Kroger-owned Fred Meyer seemed to have plenty of toys to choose from, including those two types.

I've seen the same, luckily I have a couple spares just in case. Funny thing is I've only shot one or two of them. Hopefully they all work.

We've moved all our pet food orders to Petco, Chewey OR Amazon with automatic reordering and have ended all the shortage issues.

Our daughter and SIL own a large cabinet shop here in Montana. He was complaining about drawer slides and hinges as well. He has a couple million dollar jobs. Makes it tuff.

It's out there. It just might take a few days (and a motivated pharmacist) to get it ordered.

I had to wait about a week to get mine in to our little pharmacy in the hinterlands.

200 amp meter cabinets.

Just bought all the Sch.35 green 4" x 10' pvc pipe that the vendor had last week. They said they weren't getting more until mid-November. $30/stick Eek

Went shopping for Welch’s squeezable strawberry ‘jelly’ the other day and they (our local Giant) were out of it AND the same in the Smucker’s brand and the store brand.

Stopped in at a Weiss on my home from work today and they were out of both. Stopped in at Walmart before I got home and they were out.

While killing time tonight when my daughter was doing PT / rehab I went to another Giant and Weiss in a few towns over and they were out too.

Grape ‘jelly’ (yuck) was in stock in both brands at all stores.

What’s the world coming to?!

Just tossed a 200a meter can because it was collecting dust and I moved away from electrical work. Would have happily sold it for shipping cost or free pick up. Darn.
