I'm in for the Mic.

I wonder what the Vegas odds are. Not that I know how to even place a bet.

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Sorry to say. Mayweather wins. I have watched a lot of boxing since the 1950s. Vegas is seldom wrong on this stuff.

Pay-per-view and hype win again. Try as I might to resist, I do have a bad case of FOMO (fear of missing out) and will be adding this likely train wreck to the too many dollars I have already spent on PPV.

Lesnar/Couture - still breaks my heart that Couture lost to this roid raging scammer.
Balboa/Creed
Rousey/Holm
Rousey/Nunes
Mayweather/Pacquiao
Mayweather/McGreggor

What I am hoping for is a Balboa/Lang hatred for each other, with McGreggor losing such control that he round-houses Mayweather and gets disqualified.

What will likely happen, is that it will take me 27 seconds of watching them dance around the ring with each other to see that Mayweather and McGreggor are best of freinds and obviously have a pre-fight deal.

To add - I am hoping they have a seperate camara on Dana white, who will of course be at the fight. Should McGreggor actually hold his own, and maybe even accidentally win, Dana will likely have a hype driven orgasm on live TV.

The last PPV fight I paid for was Tyson-Spinks.

I won't waste any more money on them.

We were interested enough that we wanted to see it, but couldn't bring ourselves to pay $100 for it. Ended up talking to a few of our neighbors and everyone is going to chip in to buy the fight. We'll make a little party out of it. Hope it's a good one.

There have been some stinkers, then again, there have also been fights like Carlos Condit and Robbie Lawler. I guess we'll see where this one lands.

No way I would pay to see this fight on pay per view at my home.

I think I would search out a sports bar that was showing the bout if I really cared to see it.

Bars are charging $100 to watch.

That's just dumb. I don't know where they are charging that, but I'm pretty sure it's illegal in some areas unless the bars are paying some type of fee on top of the pay per view charge.

My understanding is bars pay significantly more than Joe Blow ordering from their house.

Would be cool to see CM win but I don't think it will happen.

I have decent experience with both sports and boxing is too technical of a disciple to just kinda 'wing it' in the ring.

I can see FM just sorta picking him apart over time. Plus his movement will make it very hard to land anything of consequence.

But CM does have a chance. He is younger, probably decently stronger, has good heart, and will try to take advantage of some dynamic KTFO opportunities. Also - FM in my opinion is not taking this too seriously which in sports is always a problem in the making. Also - he doesn't have the power he once did- I read a report he hasn't won by KO in like 7 years.

Probably way too much hype but what the heck - 'Merica!

I just heard that pay per view will charge bars $30 for every person in their establishment. How they will be able to keep track of every person that enters the bar, I don't know. But that's a lot of money going to PPV.

The bar owes a large fee if they show the fight to customers so they pass the fee on to customers. I've seen reports of other bars charging less so it must be a capacity issue.

And the racism accusations have made it to the fight.

My Facebook feed has blown up with discussions saying there is no chance for McGregor to win as he is not a boxer and anyone that thinks he has a chance only thinks that because they are a racist white supremecist Roll Eyes

So tired of the whining left!
