I heard a Republican congressman yesterday ticked off the the three best people for the job was McCarthy, Scalise, and Jordan. He said he was going to vote for Trump as speaker.

Speaker Selection Schedule Released

The House GOP released the Speaker selection schedule late Friday afternoon. The schedule release followed the House GOP Conference’s cancelation of Jordan’s Speakership bid via secret ballot.

So far, Byron Donalds, Kevin Hern, Austin Scott, Tom Emmer, Jack Bergman, and Pete Sessions have announced their runs for the Speakership. All candidates must file their paperwork by noon on Sunday. The candidate list is expected to grow much larger.

On Monday at 6:30 pm, there will be a Speaker Candidate forum at the Longworth House Office Building. This will be followed by a GOP Conference Speaker election early Tuesday morning.

A floor vote for Speaker will be announced following Tuesday’s House GOP Conference election.

The uniparty, that deep state bureaucracy that rules over us all, determined that the people should not have the Speaker of their choice.

A clear majority of Republicans wanted Rep. Jim Jordan to replace Rep. Kevin McCarthy for good and obvious reasons. But twenty-five members of the House GOP revealed themselves to be petty, sniveling, chumps who decided that the people should not have a say.

They don’t like Jordan because he was the founder of the Freedom Caucus and supports President Trump. They hate Rep. Matt Gaetz because he upset their apple cart, that safe, wealth-producing space they so comfortably occupy in D.C.

But Gaetz has been listening to the people. He knew that we knew McCarthy was a classic RINO, an anti-Trump, pro-Pelosi operator who broke the promises he made to become Speaker. He got Pelosi’s misnamed “debt ceiling” bill passed with unlimited spending for two years. He agreed to another CR, or, continuing resolution on runaway spending. He did nothing about the promised impeachments of Merrick Garland, Alejandro Mayorkas, Christopher Wray and Joe Biden. He did nothing to even attempt a solution to the invasion over our southern border. Like far too many of the rest of the Republicans, he was always and only working for himself and his donors and lobbyists, Sequoia Financial among them.

Matt Gaetz did Republicans a favor; his motion to vacate McCarthy from the Speaker's chair has shown us all who the people in Congress actually represent, who they actually are. Now we know who those twenty-five "no" voters are; their allegiance is not to the American people. It’s to their defense industry donors and lobbyists. They’ve let us know how angry they are that the people have expressed their preference for Jordan. One member of the House called our phone calls and emails “abuse.” They do not think they should have to listen to us peons.

They answer to another constituency, the guys who make them rich. Now we know how many Democrats posing as Republicans there are in the House. If they had even for a moment given a thought to the large majority of us who wanted Jordan to be Speaker, they would have voted for him. But they didn’t. It is those twenty-five backstabbers who have created the chaos that is perhaps serving us well; no gavel, no more catastrophically irresponsible spending.

This is the faction who will vote for more and more and more spending for foreign wars and the incursion of millions of illegal aliens from all over the world, most of them men of military age. Hamas is here. Hezbollah is here. The Mexican cartels are here. Thousands of men from communist China are here. Venezuela and Cuba have emptied their prisons and sent their criminals here. Our taxpayer dollars are paying for migrant camps throughout Central and South America. These people are being purposefully imported into the U.S. Thousands of children are being trafficked by this administration and the Biden administration is just fine with the volumes of fentanyl that is killing over a hundred thousand Americans each year.

Those twenty-five reps are just fine with all of that. We know this because they do nothing, not one tiny thing, to stop any of it.

This country was doing so well when Donald Trump was the president. We were energy-independent, there was no inflation, the economy was roaring until COVID's lockdowns shut it down. There were no wars in the Middle East or Europe. North Korea was subdued. Jerusalem became the capital of Israel without hostilities. The southern border was under control and the wall that worked was being completed. Trump stopped paying the families of Palestinian suicide "martyrs" who killed Jews. He made NATO pay its dues. Russia was afraid to attack Ukraine. All of which was too, too much for the globalist left of which so many of our members of Congress belong. Trump had to be stopped. COVID was deployed, lockdowns and vaccine mandates were a massive sabotage of the American economy and the well-being of Americans. Hence the rigged election; COVID and the fear of it made it all so easy. Far too many Americans fell for yet another hoax.

To the millions of us who desperately wanted Jim Jordan to become Speaker, those twenty-five spoilers will forever be known to a large majority of Republicans as traitors, betrayers. But we would not have known who they were if Matt Gaetz and his seven colleagues had not done the right thing. Now we know which members of the House need to be primaried, who need to go. We need patriots in their places, men and women who love America more than they love money and power.

The Slate Set – 9 Republicans Meet Deadline to Register for House Speaker Role

The slate is set for a Monday evening conference in the Republican House of Representatives as nine GOP politicians have registered by the deadline today to put their names in the nomination process. After the conference meets on Monday night, there will be a secret ballot vote on Tuesday.

The absolute worst-case scenario is Tom Emmer (R-MN) who has just received the endorsement of Kevin McCarthy. Emmer wants to abolish the electoral college for presidential races in favor of a national popular vote. Unfortunately, Emmer likely carries around 70 automatic votes from the professionally Republican caucus.

On the opposite side of that spectrum is Byron Donalds (R-FL) who is pure MAGA and also running for the job.



WASHINGTON DC – The House GOP’s enormous speaker field is officially set, with nine Republicans seeking to somehow unify their splintered party after almost three weeks without a leader.

It’s the most crowded field since former Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s fall 19 days ago. The latest round of candidates includes current GOP leaders — like Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) and Vice Chair Mike Johnson (R-La.) — as well as more surprising rank and file members like Reps. Jack Bergman (R-Mich.). Another last-minute addition, Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Ala.), who serves as GOP policy chair, raised eyebrows on Sunday.

Byron Donalds and Mike Johnson appear to be the best options of this field.

The logic is he is a RINO. His values are democrat, but happens to be in a republican district so he says he is a Repub.

To be minority where it's easy to make pithy sound bites to get on the news complaining about the other side. This gets them reelected.

To have plenty of time to insure they're getting a large slice of the graft. Actually having to work would take time away from graft.

Unfortunately, you are right, for a huge percentage of them. They see getting elected as a way to get rich. Until that is addressed, we are up against all of the Democrats and about half of the Republicans.

In the backdrop of the controversies about who is to be voted Speaker of the House of Representatives is the awareness that this role is third in line for the presidency.

The current president seems barely functional.

The number two in line is absent without leave, never qualified in any sense, and is universally regarded as a joke if she is regarded at all, which she mostly is not.

That leaves the Speaker of the House, very close to the center of power.

For many people in Washington, this is a huge problem.

The uniparty decided some years ago never to allow another “populist” - meaning someone who actually responds to the public in reality and not just in rhetoric - near the center of power.

When the spot suddenly opened up, thanks to a vote pushed by a rebellious member, it threw the place into chaos.

Jim Jordan of Ohio stepped up as the most respected and popular member among the grassroots of the party.

Everyone has seen him on television. In his activism, he is everywhere at once, and a passionate opponent of business as usual on Capitol Hill.

By any normal standard, he was a shoo-in, provided the grassroots gets their way.

The phones lit up for days and days, with people calling and demanding an on-record vote and ready to punish lawmakers who shrunk from their responsibilities.

Thomas Massie of Kentucky, one of the few national politicians with real backbone combined with high intelligence, has the highest respect for Jordan.

Here is what Massie wrote in the thick of battle.

These are important words:

“I’ve taken thousands of votes during my time in Congress. No roll call has been as clarifying as the one for Jim Jordan as Speaker. Why isn’t his election easy here? Because his leadership represents a credible threat to the unchecked growth of our bloated federal government.”

Of course the mainstream media described Jordan as far-right and a Trump guy, which certainly gives the wrong impression, if those words mean anything at all beyond signaling “we don’t like him.”

What he is in fact is the best investigator of deep-state machinations, a fierce debater, and a dedicated opponent of corruption and big government on all fronts.

He is a good representative of the most prescient and powerful ideas within the GOP. Most especially, he has a bead on the administrative state as the hidden enemy of the U.S. Constitution and American liberty generally.

And this is precisely why certain powers-that-be in Washington, D.C. were absolutely dedicated to making sure that he could not get this close to the center of power. The urgency these days to keep the racket going and keep rebels at bay has become extremely intense.

The deep state wants to keep a lid on it. They are behaving as Machiavelli described the wise prince, better feared than loved. Also like the prince, they would rather crush and destroy than give small offenses that can be avenged. In the case of any authentic representative of the populist movement, there is zero tolerance. This is why the D.C. insiders have yanked at every possible lever of influence to keep Jordan from the speaker’s chair.

Here’s the critical issue.

The administrative state that has long run Washington, D.C. has two main branches, the old civilian bureaucracy that presumes as a matter of course that it is really in charge of the country, plus a deeper layer of the intelligence community that knows for sure that it is the real power running the nation.

They have both lived in the shadows for a very long time without members of the general public discovering it is the fourth and most important branch of government.

It’s not in the Constitution but it runs things no matter what.

The election of Donald Trump in 2016 was a real turning point.

Here is where the panic set in.

The ridiculous claim that Russia was responsible for his election was the first psyop. It took years and vast resources but that supposed investigation turned up nothing of any substance at all. It was worse than a partisan attack. It was the old Washington fighting for its life against something they truly feared.

That turned out to be only the beginning. The worst of it came when they finally deployed the ultimate Trump-crushing scheme, the response to a virus that led him to greenlight lockdowns, which led to trillions in spending, money creation, and explosive welfare payments, not to mention a huge attack on the property rights of just about everyone. The only beneficiaries were the big businesses that hated him, and the Democrats who gamed the virus fears to liberalize mail-in ballots used to cause his loss of the White House.

Part of the motivation here was Trump’s clever scheme to reclassify deep-state employees as subject to the president and not their labor unions. That one change—finally shoved through in the weeks before the 2020 election—would have done more to drain the swamp than anything he had yet tried. That was the real moment of panic. Without a permanent and unelected deep state, the whole scheme would dry up and fundamentally falter.

The pandemic response is what finally exposed the administrative state to the general public, and gave rise to a next-level mass movement determined to stop this robbery of the American idea. That’s where we are today: a tremendous and existential struggle between the people and the deep state, exactly as portrayed in every dystopian novel. Get that and you understand most every headline in the American press today.

And it’s not just the United States. This great struggle is taking place all over the world. It’s a battle between the elites and the people. The former have all the power but the latter have the passion and the ideas. What happens now really depends on an iterative series of steps that seemingly have nothing to do with the big picture but actually they do.

The election of Jim Jordan as speaker of the House is part of that grand struggle, one of many more to come in the years ahead. This is why there are so many people determined to stop it from happening. If someone like this can be third in line to the presidency, where does that leave the permanent bureaucracy in D.C. and all the interest groups for whom they carry water?

As of this writing, we don’t know the final outcome.

But this much we know for sure: this is only the beginning of a very long battle to take back the powers of government for the people.
