Held steady over the weekend, at $3.62 and $4.95 for regular and diesel, respectively.

$4.199 at the New Jersey end of the Holland Tunnel. Same price at the service plazas on the Garden State Parkway. I thought it would be more.

While I certainly don’t like these higher prices we have to be thankful that we not Europeans.

I’m currently in France and the equivalent price here is up to $10.60 per gallon! OUCH!

And that’s for the cheap stuff!

I use about 50-60 gallons of diesel per week for my side business, which I started in June 2025. The lowest I saw was about $3.19 per gallon in Dec/Jan. I usually fill up with 22-26 gallons, which was the $70 - $80 range. It now seems to be $120 - $140 per fill-up at ~$5.19 - $5.29ish.

It's manageable, but the extra $100 per week would be nice back in my pocket.

I just bought this hoss (2005 Peterbilt 335) with an 8.3 liter Cummins which I hope to put into service in Spring 2027. I don't even want to think of my my fuel will be this time next year!

CBOB (conventional winter gas) closed at $3.19 on NYMEX today. That's the price without transportation, taxes, terminaling, etc. That's about $1.50 per gallon higher than October 1, 2025.

ULSD (ultra low sulfur diesel) closed at $4.57 on NYMEX today. That's the price without transportation, taxes, terminaling, etc. That's about $2.35 per gallon higher than October 1, 2025.

regular (10% ethanol)

- Wednesday: $3.85 : Costco - Leesburg, VA
- Friday: #3.95 : Sheetz - Frederick County, VA

FWIW: Frederick County has always been ~5 higher than the city, just 2 miles away

What I'm actually pissed about is the cost of paper products at the grocery store Mad

That's mostly tax. It turns out greed and misspent funds are a magnetic pole for the moral compass of legislators.

I drove a diesel pickup for 21 years. Same truck. I bought it when diesel prices were less than unleaded. I saw diesel prices the other day at near $6 per gallon. I'm glad I'm not driving that GMC anymore.

I have a Class A Motorhome with a Cummins M11 diesel and a 180gal fuel tank that is almost empty.
I have been pumping out the diesel fuel from its tank to feed my Kubota tractor for about 1 year now. The tank is below 1/4 full now and won't be getting filled up again for a long time.
