I am already done.
I haven't watched any NFL this year.

Interesting that I don't miss it at all.

I just got back into town and was unpacking when I glanced up and saw that the whole offensive line for the Raiders is going to kneel. Of course they made it a point they were all african american.

I gave up watching the NFL years ago. To me it is the National Felon League or another derogatory term, and a bunch of drones who feel entitled and that their opinion means something.
A group who are selfish, spoiled and ungrateful.

The sad part is millions of Americans follow them like they are heroes, especially young men who have no father figure or a positive guidance in their life.

It is a shame that many don't look to Colonel (Ret) Allan West, Colin Powell, etc... as a positive figure.

Going cold turkey? Wink

Yup. Put NASCAR on for awhile today, worked some side projects, had a family dinner, now watching Beat Bobby Flay.

Don't care that the Pack is playing today - already cancelled NFL Sunday Ticket and will be getting the first 2 months refunded (they offered, I didn't even ask). Direct TV is the next cut, I just need to look at all the other options for streaming first.

Don't miss it remotely - its acutally a relief to not have to watch them fuck away another season, which they will inevitably do.

Today I canceled my NFL Sunday Ticket with DirecTv. As a lifelong/diehard Steelers fan, I was absolutely disgusted by today’s antics. I’m don’t with the Steelers and the NFL. Thank God hockey is on....Go Hawks!

Nonsense, to both of you. I occasionally watched a presser with Zippy the wonder putz for some reason or another, boredom, anger, on a dare, but at no time was I supporting him, nor would any companion in the tv room be confused about my reactions.

I suspect I feel the same repulsion that you do about the nfl mess but I will not be witch-hunted as others decide my motives for anything.

Kneeling during the national anthem instead of standing with hand over the heart or in a salute to the flag of our country says only one thing: That you disrespect all of the races, creeds, and religions that make up this country. Race relations has nothing to do with our flag or national anthem. It has alot to do with education in the different peoples that make up this great country. Protest the hate groups, the terrorists and shallow polititians that support racisim not the symbols of our country.

Sorry, but the NFL counts every eyeball and their revenue is directly dependent on it. So, if you watch, you are supporting them. Just like if you buy a ticket to Barbara Streisand concert or watch an event starring her on TV, you are endorsing her.

It's not really an opinion, it's fact. I have watched the NFL since I was a kid. Decades of support and my TV switched to an NFL game is counted as support.

Not saying it to witch hunt or criticize, simply stating the fact that watching programming by the NFL directly supports them monetarily.

People need to understand that the first amendment means that you can say whatever you want without being thrown in jail. It does not make you immune from other consequences, such as being fined or fired by an employer. This crap will come to an abrupt halt, when owners start replacing these guys or fining them $150,000 or so, every time they "take a knee".

You do realize that the NFL Commissioner and numerous owners have sided with the kneelers.

The owners have lost control. or maybe they just gave it away.

There have been a lot of reports that the owners hated Kaepernick for starting this. Now that many of the owners have attacked President Trump and supported the "kneelers", some of the owners may try to pick up Kaepernick.

The owners may find out the hard way that when leftist protesters get a foot in the door, they will demand more & more.

I am very pessimistic this is going to continue to spiral to ever increasing ugly.

Yep. Getting on all fours and pretending to piss like a dog? No way that would have happened under Coughlin. It was fitting the game winning 61 yard FG went right over his head.

Why the fuck should should our President have any respect for the NFL when they act this way? The NFL can go fuck its self.

no it's much worse; it's like the olympics but the swimming events have your arms tied.
