Awesome!!! How is that tax funded stadium in Vegas working out? May as well skip a step and just start the permanent flea market in the parking lot right now. Used Car Stereos, used Prom dresses, and cheap knives galore. "I sell you 2 paintings -- almost free" .

The low ratings are because of the Rona - nothing to do with all the virtue signaling and support for violent rioters.....

That number is astounding and possibly inflated because fans were starved for football with the lack of a a preseason. I was a massive fan and even I don't want to turn it on now that it is here. I hope the numbers drop even more.

Yes, and that's the only hope for turning this around. Ratings MUST decline so that the TV contracts paid to the NFL go down which will mean less money going to the teams, which will mean decreasing contracts paid to players. When/if that ever happens you will see an immediate change and begging for fans like you've never seen before. But it will take time and discipline. Every ticket bought, every eyeball watching, every piece of NFL branded merchandise bought prolongs their nonsense. Bad ratings on a game here and there won't do it - it will require a full season long decline to have any impact. “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.” - John Adams

I haven't read through all zillion pages to see if this was previously mentioned or not. If it has please delete it. I'm still pissed at the NFL over the 2016 event when the Dallas Cowboys wanted to wear a patch honoring the 5 Police Officers who were murdered in an ambush. Here's a link to the story: Screw The NFL Link Published August 12, 2016 NFL denies Cowboys' request to wear decal honoring fallen Dallas officers The NFL denied the Dallas Cowboys’ request to wear a decal on their helmets during the season that would have paid tribute to the five police officers killed last month in an ambush. The team had been wearing a decal with the words “Arm in Arm” since the first day of training camp this summer. Dallas police Chief David Brown and Mayor Mike Rawlings paid the team a visit on that day, according to Fox 4 News. The NFL’s strict rules on uniforms forced the league to deny the Cowboys’ request to wear the decal for the upcoming season. Dallas police said it appreciated the Cowboys’ support. “Their concern for the families of our fallen officers, the Dallas Police Department, and the City of Dallas is what matters most, and we know that support will continue for the immediate and long term future,” the department said in a statement. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and tight end Jason Witten, who created the decal, said they were disappointed with the league’s decision but said they believed the stickers already served its purpose. The Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation told TMZ they were “extremely upset” over the NFL’s decision. "The NFL had an opportunity to be leaders and advocates for change in law enforcement," Sgt. Demetrick Pennie, president of the foundation, told the website. “"These are our friends and our loved ones ... it hurts to not have the NFL fully support us.”

Time most of all. I think a lot of companies are riding this woke train and will be willing to continue to advertise with pro sports teams for a little while. “Everybody wants a Sig in the sheets but a Glock on the streets.” -bionic218 04-02-2014

I graduated from high school in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Needless to say I have/had a loyalty to the green and gold. My father was manager of the phone company and had access to all the games and got me tickets any time I wanted them. It wasn't a big deal then. These were the days of Starr, Nitchke, Lombardi, Horning and other hall of famers. A few of them volunteered to speak to our youth groups. They were cool guys. I would run into the players in stores and they would always visit. That was then. I have no desire to watch any longer. I have thrown away most of my Packer gear and will dump the rest of it before long. This isn't the NFL I grew up with. I'll admit that I tried to watch the first game. I love football and without the Big 10, I truly miss it. Did you note I said tried to watch the first game? Clueless. These people have no damned clue. The fans are tired of being preached to, tired of being called racist, tired of being called a piece of shit, and tired of seeing the country they love shit on. Clueless idiots.
