The Washington Dirtbags

It fits.

You can't truly call yourself "peaceful" unless you are capable of great violence. If you're not capable of great violence, you're not peaceful, you're harmless.

So the Washington Redskins are done. Now lets go after the Cowboys as they represent white privilege that oppressed indigenous people and LatinX. Same with Texans and 49rs. Titans are remnant of hokey history. Saints probably offend muslims. Next Vikings, Raiders, and Buccaneers. Can't have any pillaging and plundering of marginalized people. Patriots must go. They raise AntiFa blood pressure. Packers? Don't want to upset the gays. The worst are the Dolphins cause they made Hootie cry.

I'll bet the old logo merchandise becomes more valuable. If the fans prefer the old logo merchandise it will continue to be worn at games and go for higher prices on ebay and such places.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Can't believe the Chiefs are going to escape the chopping block. I'm triggered.....

I think most of us that are sports fan, are significantly turned off by this stupidity and are considering stopping all together. The Panthers new coach said he's considering kneeling. No way in hell I'm watching them play a black anthem at all. It may be time for me to change my avatar. After having no sports, we really aren't missing much other than the time spent with friends.

Edit: Changed out my Panthers avatar.

If this hurts the NFL I see it as a good thing. The sooner that franchise implodes the better.

The Chief's are named after a KC Mayor who was nicknamed "The Chief"... Not that the left would allow facts to stand in the way - Plus the team has dared to use American Indian imagery.

True, unless they get backlash from selling it, still costs a lot to redo merchandise, etc, thing is that will be worth a lot as well, first year name change merchandise.

Wonder if all these teams will be selling a lot of knee(l) pads to fans LOL

It's really a shame. Football and baseball particularly were at one time such a large part of the American fabric and what made us unique. This is why we are where we are now of course. Can't allow something to stand that represents American uniqueness particularly if it appeals to a large swath of patriotic American citizens.

Sports started to self destruct themselves for the last ten or fifteen years anyhow. But once the body politic infected it that accelerated the ending of it we are seeing now.
