Where he really screwed up was he forgot to yell “stop resisting” and “he’s got a gun.”

All kidding aside, I hope he enjoys whatever his next career is, because this one should be over.

Bull.....shiiiiit
I saw, with my own eyes (I was in the back seat), a guy do a back flip during a field sobriety test.
He bet the cop he could do a back flip if he’d let us go.
Guy is 6-0 and about 250 at the time, nails the landing like Mary Lou Retton. TaaaaDaaaa!
Cop was good on his word, followed us home though.
It was the 80s lol
.08 is nothing, I promise you my buddy was at least .15, probably .2

I'm guessing an IWB holster. Even doing a backflip, I don't think any of my OWB holsters would "let go" of my pistol.

Oh please. Roll Eyes

I don't know for sure if he were drunk or even drinking, but saying someone over .08 bac wouldn't be able to perform a backflip is pure nonsense.

Was his backflip so great? He does a half-back to a handstand, then just completes the flip. When I first saw this video, my initial reaction was why he didn't attempt a full aerial without touching the ground. Somehow I got the impression that he could have done it under "normal" conditions, and was holding back.

In my experience, sober back flips are much more difficult.

Yet another nail in the coffin in what was at one time a admired organization. Unfortunate for the decent agents that try to do the job. But some have become involved in politics and let that color their work.

The public no longer sees them as a agency to be trusted.

There's no crisis, not as far as I'm concerned. The FBI has made it crystal clear that they are hopelessly and completely biased and corrupt.
They violate the Constitution every single day and they step on the rights of American citizens and then laugh about it...and then they step on us again and lie to our faces.

There's no crisis. They're just done AFAIC. Nothing can ever change this for me. Nothing that the FBI does or says can ever restore my faith in that organization.

Ol' J. Edgar must be laughing in Hell. He's proud o' you boys, yes he is.

Russia? Russia?? The FBI has done more damage to the sovereignty to this nation in the last two years than Russia has in a century. You heard me, and I mean it, too.

One point I haven't seen mentioned:

I am in no way defending this guy, but I think the FBI's policy plays a little into this. Requiring all special agents, if they're going to carry, to only carry their duty gun while off duty. You *can* get a short list of other weapons approved for off-duty use, but you must submit the gun to the Bureau. For example, you can submit a G26 for carry.

My brother cannot stand that he must lug around his G17 full-time, no matter what his activity. I know there are sometimes where he'd like the option of carrying something like a personal G43, but Bureau policy won't allow it. I'm only saying that this guy had a duty sized weapon at his six, and perhaps would have had a better outcome with something a little smaller/lighter. No matter the policy, though, he should have stayed responsible. If you must carry a duty weapon, then perhaps you shouldn't be down at the disco.

Once again, I am IN NO WAY defending this guy. Just saying that policy maybe should be relaxed to allow a bigger variety of carry weapons.

Curious as to where in the Colorado laws some seem to have found 0.08% BAC.

Can someone please reference your source.

It's actually illegal under Colorado law to drive with a BAC of 0.05 or higher, but it's classified as “driving while ability impaired,” or DWAI, a lesser offense than driving under the influence, or DUI, for which the BAC standard is 0.08.

All 50 states have now set .08% blood alcohol concentration (BAC) as the legal limit for driving under the influence (DUI) or driving while impaired (DWI). For commercial drivers, a BAC of .04% can result in a DUI or DWI conviction nationwide.

I watched the video twice more, and think he's fortunate there wasn't another discharge as he's fumbling to reholster it in small of back and no doubt stressed to the max.

...

I understand what you are saying, but
No one is making him carry, to a bar, among people drinking.
While he's what some in the media would label "The only people properly trained to carry a gun" (BS), I would like to think these FBI agent FUps are measured to a higher standard compared to us peons who have no idea what we are doing Roll Eyes .
Or are they just a bunch of accountants and psychologists to whom firearms are issued?

Professionals with accounting degrees, and PHDs in Psychology have more in the common sense department than this nitwit. BTW he does not have a pocket protector so that rules out CPA.
