We have about a12" so far. Sleet has been mixing in since about 4 a.m. but mostly snow and coming down hard. The weather people say that it could snow well into late afternoon early evening. I am in the eastern part of Berks County, close to Bear Creek, for anyone wondering where the snow is.

We have 6+ inches here but it seems to be 75% sleet falling and not snow. I'm NOT looking forward to shoveling this shit!

I was awoken at dawn by the township snow-thrower, so went at my sidewalk as well as the widow's next door.

Have done it three more times so far. Right into the face of that NE gale; straight sleet.

And helped out a single mom down the block, which was far harder, as it was thick, sloggy mush.

Glad I've got the snow blower. Will be even more glad I can borrow a plow truck later on today.

We got about an inch of wet ice. The roads are fine.

Came into work to get some things done in the peace and quiet (office is closed).

We have probably close to a foot. I already did a round of shoveling this morning and it is a heavy snow.

Now it seems like 1/2 sleet, 1/2 snow but not accumulating very much.

switched over from the sleety stuff to big snow flakes. Not certain on the current total but it's definitely going to be a foot before long. Plows seem to be keeping up OK despite how fast it's dropping.

Looks like it's tapering off and will be over here for us in Berks Co, PA. I'd say about 8-9 inches but it's some heavy stuff as 75% of it seems to be sleet. I heard there was some kind of warming layer high up that melted the snow then it refroze into sleet lower down.

Yep, that last shoveling was it. Windy and cold now. Wet. My 2WD truck would probably pull right out, and being 75 feet from a State highway, I can always get the essentials. Beer and luncheon meats.

Tonight? Das another story.

We got about 3 inches, or so. I find it entertaining to look out the window and seem the daffodils peeking out above the wet soggy crap.

Checking in from south central NH. Our class today at sig got cut short due to the conditions. Wind is blowing hard and the lights are occasionally flickering here at my buddies home where I am staying. So far, we have gotten 6 or more inches but the wind is the main concern.

8ish here in Upton ma, now raining. Have to say this is the first storm to make by old Ariens 10/32 bog down. Really wet and heavy, dreading the end of driveway digout after the plows finish the roads.
