if you get right down to it, this entire problem is the fault of that bitch Ginsburg. If she had of retired honorably, perhaps a year or 18 months ago, all of this rush and hand-wringing would have been avoided without an issue. It would not have been an election year.

But like all democrats, she put herself first, the party second and the country came in a distant third.

If you want to see the architect of this debacle, simply look at a picture of Ruth Buzzy and you have the reason.

The president may give her kudos, the USSC may give her kudos, the democrats may fawn over her legacy. Me, she was a mean-spirited partisan bitch who had no right to put the country through this. May she rot in hell.

Sen Cory Gardner announced that he will vote to confirm a Trump nominee.

Sen Grassley is on board.

He is surer about that than I am. I pray he is right.

Ya gotta see Graham for what he is. He's a huge opportunist above all else, hence the grandstanding during the Kavanaugh debacle and now this confirmation presents him with a chance to be a part of history, and he's not going to let it get away.

Who gives a shit? Really. At this point, if he gets it done for our side, that's all I care about.

I'm sick to death of this cynical shit from our side.

Maybe, but those turds need to be put on notice that this is how it will go. He may still be a swamp creature, but at least he has been outspoken when it has mattered.

In reality if she had any decency, she should have retired during one of Barry's terms (but not his last year). The R's would have gone along and approved just about anyone, just like Kagan and Sotomayer were approved. But no, just like McCain, Kennedy, and some others, they just have to stay in office because of their massive egos even though they are quite clearly physically or mentally not able to do the job anymore.

And I don't care how much grandstanding some R senator does, as long as he gets the job done for our side. We need people who fight for us, just like Trump. I don't care if they are imperfect. The Dems don't require their politicians to be perfect, it's about time we fight by the same rules as they do.

During the Civil War, there was a lot of pressure on Lincoln to get rid of Grant because he's a drunk, a womanizer, corrupt, causes too many casualties, etc. .... you name a reason. Lincoln's response was "I can't spare this man–he fights.” Those are exactly the type of people we need. I don't care how much credit they claim, deserved or not, as long as they get the job done.

Cool your jets guys. Damn. I'm not cynical at all about this. I only point this out because I believe Graham's ego and glory seeking is our biggest advantage in him getting this one right. This is his golden ring opportunity and you can bet your ass he'll do everything to grab it.

Ah. Then we agree. Cool

Swing away, Mr. Graham.

Now, the Woodward interview, COVID, etc. being shelved should convince us all of the disciples of evil who are working overtime to destroy the fabric of our great country.
RBG got hit with a death RPG and I'm PDG!
(pretty damn glad)

Maybe, just maybe, my grandsons in looking back in history, will see what a great President we truly have.

So much this. If her "dying wish" was for "her" seat to be given to another GDC, she could easily have stepped down and retired while the O'Marxist was in the Oval Office. She was a bitter, self-centered individual. And IIRC, she graduated top of her class in law school, yet was passed over by every major law firm after graduating. Makes you wonder if in those interviews showed her to be the kind of person no one wanted to work with.

So what if Graham is grand standing. They all do it. It is part of being reelected. You would do the same if in their shoes.
RBG did not care about the law unless it fit her way of thinking. To hell with the constitution.
After what the Dems tried to do with Kavanah and impeaching Trump I say stick it to them while we have the chance. If they win this election you know what will happen to the supreme court. No matter whom Trump picks not one single Dem will vote for confirmation.

Very interested on timing and who will be the nominee selected. Barbara Lagoa would seem to have the clearest path with recent confirmation and stating Roe V. Wade is settled law, however for many here and around the country they would prefer someone that would be able to challenge that law. Her style seems to compare to Antonin Scalia.

But one step at a time, and seems like we are there in getting the senators that can move its vote to agree to move this nomination forward. This is a big win and one that moved more quickly than I expected.

Justice Kavanaugh's living wish was to not be falsely accused of rape and we see how the Democrats honored that wish.

Well, he does have the inside track of things in the Senate and you don't Wink.

Like I stated earlier, it would be very hard to believe Trump is not prepared for this situation.

Is there any political event you can't see the darker side of? Who cares why, if he gets it done?

Ninth Circuit Court Overturns Death Of Ruth Bader Ginsburg

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—In a landmark ruling, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has overturned the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. In a close decision, the judges on the court have ruled RBG's death unconstitutional and will block Trump from nominating a replacement.

Kim McLane Wardlaw, the judge who issued the ruling, said in a statement: "Justice Ginsburg's death was an affront to the constitution as well as our God-given right to abort as many babies as possible and sell their body parts for research. Death, at its core, is a construct designed to subvert the rule of law by taking pro-choice liberal judges away from us too soon. We cannot allow Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death to stand. By law, she will now be considered to be still alive."

Trump slammed the ruling as "idiotic" and called the court judges "a bunch of morons." Republicans pounced on this ruling like tigers that pounce on their prey before ruthlessly tearing it to pieces with their razor-sharp claws. "This is a terrible ruling because we're racist and we hate women," said a bunch of Republicans, according to anonymous sources.

Judge Wardlaw followed up on her ruling, saying: "We hereby rule any attempt by President Trump to appoint a replacement to be unconstitutional. We will block any attempt until we figure out a way to resurrect her or maybe clone her and restore her to her already 'legally alive' state. We're still figuring that part out."
