We cannot peacefully coexist with people who want to deny us our rights.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."

Wow, just wow. I just watched and read some data on the entire state that was a deep dive. High crime was mentioned throughout. And you sign this deal in to punish the law abiding folks? SMH

I've always found it hypocritical that guns seem to get a different view constitutionally than other protected items....

What if she had declared that residents that live in a certain part of the city will not be allowed to vote this year... or that folks can only attend church one day a week?

Apparently this Kirkland brand Karen thinks she has total control over laws passed by the legislature and can cancel them at any time.

Looks like there was also an armed rally and no one was arrested or cited.

Albuquerque has huge drug problem. Mexican cartel working with street gangs. Prison gang working with the gangs.
Fentanyl overdoses, robbery, vagrants.
Police and dea have done a few significant raids.

The 11-year-old who was shot, I'm sure it wasn't by a law abiding ccw person.

Then we got this picture.

Good.... these Democrats think that since COVID in 2020 all they have to do is decide something is a 'public health emergency' and they can do whatever they want.

Sorry my dear, the constitution exists specifically to prevent EXACTLY this type of activities. I can't believe she felt that her office gives her the power to decide for everyone and what is and is not absolute. Clearly the police understand their oaths of office.

People need to realize there are far more of us than there are of them and that if enough people refuse to comply with unconstitutional laws/directives/ordinances, this kind of unlawful shit becomes unenforceable.

About a hundred peaceful gun owners protesting the governor. I even saw a kid.

How many murdered and drive bys? Zero.

It’s not a gun problem.

Methinks the guv will not be renewing this at the 30 day expiration.

Then again, these people routinely defy logic and behave like petulant children, so, I wouldn't be surprised. However, we can say that this is probably not going as she envisioned. Razz

Nice to see the governor getting tough on gun crime and yet Alec Baldwin has yet to set foot in a courtroom.

I don't get it, the governor is elected by the state to governor the entire state. Yet, she makes an executive order that is effective in only 1 county.

Then quite obviously the same applies to New Mexico's laws and her power and authority as Governor. Permission granted.

$2M per injured citizen by denying rights. NM gonna pay up....

And saying she has cognizance over state laws? No, she doesn't get to hand wave them into non-existence. If the NM Legislature had a backbone, they'd be impeaching her over this due to NM constitution alone (and the FBI would be investigating her for 18 U.S.C. § 241 to boot.

When asked if she thought criminals would obey this edict, she said no. What's the point then?

So then, the 13th Amendment must not be absolute.

To dip a toe in the waters and test them. I believe the political winds (and Constitution) are about to destroy her grand experiment. Friggin’ Leftist bitch… Mad Mad
