Well, you know what Dirty Harry says about shooting. Smile

And what started all this? Amir Locke was a good boy, dammit. His mama said he was starting a music career. Perfect. I'd be damn disappointed if someone being arrested for homicide wasn't starting a music career, or planning to go back to school, or rescuing puppies or some divine thing.

I’m pretty sure if the police enter your house on a warrant and are identifying themselves as such, whipping out a gun is a poor decision. The gene pool will be better off without him.

Lunatics is a very apt description for what I watched. Looks to me like Portland will stay on my No Go list. A shame, it used to be one of my favorite places to visit.

Update on Garrett Smith. The felony charges were administratively dismissed on 2/15/22. It looks like a local firm is representing him pro Bono as well. The wheels of justice seem to turn swiftly for the left.

Mums the word it seems on the shooter/homeowner.

But from what I can gather it was a 21 year old, 5'3" 120# black guy.
Looks like a felon in possession of a gun too.
Which is also really weird for that part of town.

Oh the irony of it all.
It's probably a good thing his buddies weren't in the area.

LARPING's hard in the hood.
When they were hassling that older black lady and it looked like she was going to start ripping arms off, it was only a matter of time before they fucked around and found out.

^^^ This is becoming an even bigger shitshow. Now there is a different suspect. The homeowner story seems to have been replaced by another suspect. And the first suspect wasn't really the suspect

What on earth is going on....? Very confusing.

You can't get a straight answer to anything.

Same night that a car got lit up in the street in SE Portland.
Killed the female driver, shot a 1 year old in the leg, a 5 year old in the arm and critically wounded an adult male.
Haven't heard a peep over that yet other than "second shooting tonight in Portland"
It was a busy night and the Police are run by Buffoons.

Maybe running around with ceramic plates isn't such a bad idea.

The weirder it gets, the more likely the real story involves a lot of people making some truly creative mistakes. Hopefully the Pink Elephant's outburst during the police press conference generated enough interest that the story doesn't simply get swept under the rug.

Seattle woman gets 5 years for torching police cars during 2020 riot

Her name is Margaret Aislinn Channon and yesterday she was sentenced to a mandatory minimum of five years for arson. Channon burned five police cars during destructive riots in Seattle back on May 30, 2020. She was also seen looting, breaking windows and destroying property.

ccording to the plea agreement, Channon appears in videos from the protest in downtown Seattle wearing distinctive clothing and showing tattoos on her hands and arms. Channon is captured on video using fire and aerosol cans to light five Seattle Police Department vehicles on fire. She is also shown entering various stores and removing items of clothing. She admits smashing the window at the Verizon Store, and entering a sandwich shop and destroying the electronic cash register. Investigators identified Channon based on her clothing, tattoos, and information from her various social media accounts.

Law enforcement executed a search warrant at Channon’s Tacoma residence and seized clothing and accessories that appear in some of the videos from the arsons.

Under the terms of the plea agreement, Channon is responsible for restitution. The amount will be determined at sentencing.

Not enough time. Her sentence should be double of what she received. At a minimum.

I was on another forum and they were discussing how damaging a nuclear exchange would be. Someone described it in terms of the "Detroit Mayoral Term". Cracked me up because as everyone knows any democratic mayoral term is destructive to cities.

I wonder how the "Chicago Mayoral Term" stacks up?

You can determine the relative effect using the universal measurement for damage to a city - the Detroit Mayoral Term ("DMT"). Each nuclear weapon is equivalent to four years under a Detroit mayor, or 1 DMT. So 75 nukes would be equivalent to 300 years under a Detroit mayor (75 DMT), an unimaginable catastrophe.

By comparison, here are some historical examples of citywide devastation.

1. Mongol Destruction of Baghdad. 25 DMT
2. Sack of Rome. 20 DMT
3. 4th Crusade Sack of Constantinople. 15 DMT
4. Fall of Troy. 10 DMT
5. Great Fire of London. 5 DMT
6. Hiroshima. 1 DMT

Amazon will move 1,800 workers from downtown Seattle offices because of rampant crime in woke bastion where City Council has cut police budget by $36million since 2019

Amazon will relocate all 1,800 workers from its downtown Seattle office as the area continues to be plagued by crime in the woke Pacific Northwest bastion, where the police budget has been cut by $36million since 2019 - and now other businesses are starting to do the same.

Citing an increase in violent crime in the downtown Seattle area, Amazon made the announcement Friday that it would temporarily relocate its workers from their office at Third Avenue and Pine Street.

'Given recent incidents near Third and Pine, we're providing employees currently at that location with alternative office space elsewhere,' an Amazon spokesman told DailyMail.com in a statement. 'We are hopeful that conditions will improve and that we will be able to bring employees back to this location when it is safe to do so.'

Amazon, which also has its headquarters in Seattle, employs a total of 1.1 million people in the U.S, and 75,000 in Seattle. The 1,800 employees at the downtown location are being given the 'choice of an alternate work location because of the safety concerns.'

On February 27, a man was shot and killed at Third Avenue and Pine Street. A few days later, on Tuesday, police responded to Third Avenue and Union Street for a stabbing which led them to pursue a separate incident involving a carjacking at Third Avenue and Pine Street.

The same day, homeless career criminal Alexander Jay, 40, was allegedly caught on video repeatedly throwing the victim down the stairs at a Chinatown-International District light rail station in an unprovoked attack.

video of this at the link is sickening

But the final straw for many businesses to move their employees from the area or close their doors was the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old Michael Delbianco on March 2 in the 1500 block of Third Avenue, which is near where Amazon's office building is located.

Piroshky Piroshky bakery owner Olga Sagan, 38, made the tough decision to close her shop after the shooting. But said she constantly found the entrance blocked with drug users who refused to move - and she says the Seattle Police Department did nothing to help.

just this month, additional businesses began shutting their doors, including, Qumulo, a cloud technology firm, and several McDonald's.

Martin Fagan, facilities director for Qumulo, based at Fourth Avenue and Pike Street, told his employees that they don't have to return to the office until the situation downtown 'stabilizes.'

I hope it gets so bad, everyone going to downtown Seattle not only needs to be armed, but they have to walk around pointing guns at each other.

Stupid motherfuckers. Lap it up.

Leftists have to learn the hard way. It needs to get much worse. It needs to get so bad, not even the most deluded leftist can deny the reality of the situation, and you know how bad that would have to be.
