Right? Everything he did was fine until he said "fuck". The swearing, that's what the district is taking exception with. JAllen was right.

By my observation, protestors have rather limited vocabulary comprised primarily of the word "bro", and the short phrase "the fuck".

"Bro" is used to address any and all humans, and "the fuck" is inserted between all verb-proposition pairs, and directly after all inquisitive words.

President Donald Trump reacted Tuesday to videos of Black Lives Matter protesters harassing a group of diners at a restaurant in Pittsburgh.

“These Anarchists, not protesters, are Biden voters, but he has no control and nothing to say,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “Disgraceful. Never seen anything like it. Thugs!”

The videos on social media show protesters shouting at two elderly people sitting outside a restaurant and quietly enjoying their Sunday.

“Fuck 12 and fuck the white people that built the system set against mine,” one man says, taunting the couple.

One woman protester with a “Nazi Lives Don’t Matter” t-shirt walks over and takes a drink from the couple’s table and drinks it in front of them. Another protester tips over a glass that shatters on the sidewalk.

The president blamed Democrats for failing to enforce the law, allowing protesters to act violently.

“[B]ecause of weak and pathetic Democrat leadership, this thuggery is happening in other Democrat-run cities and states,” he wrote. “Must shut them down fast. Biden and his most Liberal in Senate running mate, Kamala, won’t even talk about it.”

Black Lives Matter protesters have confronted other diners in Washington, DC, and Rochester, New York.

Amazingly ill-educated for a group of people for whom words carry the same gravitas as violence. It's almost as if their teachers didn't have time to teach them proper English. They must have had more pressing subjects to cover.

God I wish JAllen was still here. I would love to have read his take on all the current goings on.

Washington and Lee University Actually Defends Course on 'How to Overthrow the State'

Fall 2020, WRIT 100-18: Writing Seminar for First-Years: How to Overthrow the State (3). Prerequisite: First-year class standing . Concentrated work in composition. All students write at least three revised essays in addition to completing several exercises emphasizing writing as a process. All sections stress active reading, argumentation, the appropriate presentation of evidence, various methods of critical analysis, and clarity of style. This course places each student at the head of a popular revolutionary movement aiming to overthrow a sitting government and forge a better society. How will you attain power? How will you communicate with the masses? How do you plan on improving the lives of the people? How will you deal with the past? From Frantz Fanon to Che Guevara to Mohandas Gandhi and others, we explore examples of revolutionary thought and action from across the Global South. Students engage these texts by participating in a variety of writing exercises, such as producing a Manifesto, drafting a white paper that critically analyzes a particular issue, and writing a persuasive essay on rewriting history and confronting memory. (FW) Gildner.

Washington and Lee University is offering titled “How to Overthrow the State.”

At the very least, I can't believe I would stay seated for one of these locust invasions. Also, if one must dine outdoors in these places, it would seem prudent to do so with Mace, OC or better, Bear spray available. I'd have my wife carry it in her purse. And insist on a steak knife when ordering. Some of these places use some actual, by God knives for that. 'Black Betty' might just find that hand impaled to the table.

Just make the restaurant comp the bill for failure to provide proper security and leave a shit review.

Financial ramifications seem to work better than anything else. Enough business people get fed up, they will demand this rabble be dealt with.

Simplest to just leave, the restaurant will know what happened.

Being from the area I think people were of the opinion that it wouldn't happen here, but they were wrong. Our mayor has protestors at his house now, he is a very "progressive" mayor and sides on the sides of the rioters mostly. Well except when his neighbors started complaining. During this whole scene he was officiating the wedding of a local news caster, of all people. I think people will be prepared from now on. I hope so at least.

Assuming that they actually know how to use them, that is an unsecured Baofeng radio.

If that is their comms, anyone with another could easily scan and listen in.

If you live in one of these cities, it might be worth $20 to buy one of these radios, and another $20 for a high quality antenna.

There are improved English language manuals available for them on the web.

And yes, that appears to be a real rifle and a real magpul pmag in that thing's chest rig.

Looks real.

Say it is real. I wonder if it's zero'd and what the zero is. I wonder if she even knows what a zero is or how to properly sight in an A2/3 rear sight and A-post and make adjustments in the field. I wonder if she knows how to break down, clean, properly lube and maintain that rifle.

I wonder if she's ever even fired it and what her ammo choice in that situation is as well as the style of firfle (16" m4 clone).

I'm betting she knows none of those things. Magic Talisman indeed.

That is the best response, especially to establishment owners who pander to this nonsense.
A night or, two of re-opening covers, gone within a few minutes will leave the owner and staff mouth gapping wondering, what just happened, who's gonna pay for all of this.

You idiots allowed these clowns to come into your work, in order to 'disrupt' the status quo, all the things you've been supporting right? How's it taste...woke enough for you?

I assume restaurant owners are contemplating “proper security,” but have you given any thought to just how hard restaurant owners and staff have already been hit throughout this Virus—-particularly in Democratic strongholds?!? Shut down for months. Now only open for outside seating, as fall weather fast approaches. What do guess...operating at 20% capacity, if that? How are they supposed to pay to keep their patrons safe from street thugs?

Remember that version of America? The one where people just wanted to be left alone and wanted to leave other people alone? You know. Freedom.
I miss that America. I'm glad I got the chance to meet her.

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible."
-- Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Business owners are rich! No problem hiring licensed security staff at all.

Outside of businesses that are at high risk for hold up, how many can you name that have real security on staff? Since I'm aware that most businesses do not have security, and those that do are sometimes dubious at best, I've pretty much settled with the fact that I'm my own security when out in public.

MoveOn, left-wing groups gear up for 'mass public unrest' after Election Day

Groups reportedly planning large-scale civil disobedience if Trump, supporters contest election results

An association of left-wing organizations is currently planning out strategies for what they believe would be a political dogfight should Joe Biden win November's election by a small margin.
The group, comprised of more than 50 groups, including MoveOn, Color of Change and the American Federation of Teachers, calls itself the Fight Back Table and recently launched their Democracy Defense Nerve Center.

According to the Daily Beast, members of the group held a Zoom call last week in which they discussed how they can plan for Election Day and then coordinate large-scale civil disobedience and what one participant called "mass public unrest" if – as they predict – President Trump and his supporters contest November's election results.
"It is very obvious that Trump is laying the groundwork for claiming victory no matter what,” said MoveOn executive director Rahna Epting, who participated in the call.

One person familiar with the discussions told the Beast that they are worried about right-wing extremists taking action on Election Day, going so far as to warn that armed groups or individuals inspired by Kyle Rittenhouse could show up to intimidate voters.

"I don't know what the strategy is when armed right-wing militia dudes show up in polling places," the individual told the Beast. "This [Kyle] Rittenhouse guy is being lionized on the right, right now. If it is being unleashed that you can shoot people and be a hero, I don't know what preparation we can possibly do for that."

One of the key goals of the discussion was reportedly to figure out how they can "occupy s--t, hold space and shut things down, not just on Election Day but for weeks," the same person said.

Georgetown University law professor Rosa Brooks, who co-founded the Transition Integrity Project, said she thinks this sort of strategizing should have started much sooner
"I wish we were having these conversations six months ago," Brooks told the Beast. Her project included running simulations of possible election scenarios and their respective aftermaths. In one such simulation, the Beast reported, Biden's camp "encouraged Western states, particularly California but also Oregon and Washington, and collectively known as 'Cascadia,' to secede from the Union'" unless Trump and Republicans agreed to various demands.

Those demands include granting statehood to Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C., eliminating the Electoral College, and breaking California into five states in order to increase their number of senators.

During their Zoom call, the Fight Back Table reportedly discussed the Transition Integrity Project's report, which claims that despite the above secession situation, Trump's team would be "consistently more ruthless than Team Biden." The report said that in some simulations, the project examined what would happen if the president classifies documents or freezes opponents' assets for political purposes, uses operatives to stoke violence, or even uses the military to "confiscate 'fraudulent' ballots."
Trump, meanwhile, has been claiming that it is the Democrats who plan on using nefarious means to gain control of the White House. He has long claimed that the election would be "rigged" because of large-scale mail-in voting, particularly as some states are sending ballots to everyone on their voter rolls, whether they are still eligible to vote or not.

Other states are permitting absentee ballots, which President Trump has supported because it requires individuals to submit applications first.
