If he's shooting, why is she yelling? I'm glad she took him down...

And, Uh, about the female officer who was shot in the foot. Am I the only one who suspects that she shot herself in the foot by accident? Just an assumption...

And for the antigun jerks, just think about the fact that this loser with a rifle and a handgun managed to kill no one. Remind me again how many people were killed recently by terrorists with only knives and trucks? Thought so. Carry on.

What are you thinking?

Why are you posting something like this?

First, to criticize the shooters marksmanship, then to accuse a first responder of shooting themselves?

The hell is wrong with you? Please think before you post.

I imagine one of the last thoughts in his scrambled socialist brain was surprise that there were individuals there armed, in Alexandria, who would shoot back. Better than him. Surprise!

Yeah, we're lucky that Hodgkinson was such an inept marksman. I would that he survived – I'd've liked to see the SOB on trial.

Agreed.

Surprise attack with a rifle and pistol. Lots of chaos but the only person killed was the perp.

Pretty crappy shooting by the perp, just on numbers alone.

I agree the comment about the first responder was dumb.

Don't get your admonishment concerning my comment about an obviously unskilled shooter.

First, thoughts and prayers for all those injured by the assailant. Second, no criticism of the officers involved. I have never been in that situation, and hope never to be.

My concern is with the reports of a "Drop your weapon" command when dealing with an active shooter. Is this part of Capitol Police training or general police training? It makes no sense to me when you have an active shooter. Seems like it poses unjustifiable risks to the officer and anyone in the field of fire.

The constant negative crap in the media and from TV personalities is fueling this crap. They can take their self-righteous "it's just entertainment, only a sicko takes it seriously" dodge and shove it in return for some responsibility

Since the shooter was a Bernie campaign volunteer, there needs to be an investigation into collusion between him and Crazy Bernie to influence Republican lawmakers.

CNN wasted no time getting Bernie condemning the attack by one of his volunteers on TV as fast as possible. Good job.

I wonder if this was the shooters attempt at sighting in his rifle?
quote:
Police most recently encountered Hodgkinson on March 24, records from the St. Clair County Sheriff show. The sheriff received a phone call reporting about 50 shots “in the pine trees” in a lightly populated area near Belleville.

A deputy responded shortly after 3:05 p.m. and found that Hodgkinson “did have in his possession a valid Illinois FOID [firearms owner identification] card,” and that the deputy advised Hodgkinson “to not discharge his weapon in the area.”

Hodgkinson apparently complied and the deputy left without taking any further action.

I believe that "Drop your weapon"is deeply ingrained in automatic police response. Who wants to be sued for not giving the perp a chance to surrender?

You guys want to use this incident to talk about and worry about gun control? I'll just lock the damn thing.

Let's get our priorities straight, please. If you guys just want to start a bunch of gun control talk, we don't need this thread.

Oh yeah I just love the fact that the FBI (fumbling bureau of ineptitude) is spending significant resources investigating the phony GOP-Russian business yet facebook pages filled with anti-Trump and anti-GOP HATE remain apparently unchallenged. Given that the senior FBI leadership is progressive this is no suprise.

This same FBI says they aren't sure of the motive and don't know if GOP members were really targeted. Eh? What? This in response to witnesses and the shooter's own proclamations. Gesh what a bunch of bozos!

Also note the significant similarities between Madrassas and the MSM-DNC-Soros triumvirate in preaching HATE and basically brainwashing the left leaning skulls full of mush. This 66 year old shooter is a prime example of their product in my view.
