Trump should address the nation. Primetime, I'm serious. Him in the oval office, a camera, and a teleprompter. No questions after. Go over the specific laws that back this. Go over the historic precedent listing every president and what they did that is similar. Reiterate that every nation has a right to control it's borders and give examples of nations with very harsh entry requirements. Equate it to having a door on your house where you decide who comes in. Call out the democrats for inflaming anti-american sentiment around the world for political gain and clearly state that anything that happens now is their fault. No more Mr Nice guy. The democrats are literally trying to burn this country down and he needs to fight fire with fire. | |||

It appears to be what's coming. Some of these people are so incredibly stupid, but they fully believe in their cause. The tensions seem to be ratcheting higher and the next level will be even uglier. I'm also sensing somewhat of a generational tension brewing. | |||
