Anthony Scaramucci’s wife files for divorce

Anthony Scaramucci’s wife files for divorce

Anthony Scaramucci, the White House’s potty-mouthed new communications director, has been dumped by his beautiful blond wife because of his “naked political ambition,” multiple sources exclusively tell Page Six.

Deidre Ball, who worked as a vice president in investor relations for SkyBridge Capital, the firm he founded in 2005 and sold to ascend to the White House, has filed for divorce from “The Mooch” after three years of marriage after getting fed up with his ruthless quest to get close to President Trump, whom she despises.

One source told Page Six, “Deidre has left him and has filed for divorce. She liked the nice Wall Street life and their home on Long Island, not the insane world of D.C. She is tired of his naked ambition, which is so enormous that it left her at her wits’ end. She has left him even though they have two children together.”

Scaramucci and Ball, 38, began dating in 2011 and are believed to have married in 2014.

The source said that the Wall Street financier, 52, had been “hell-bent” on claiming his position at the White House after he was originally pegged for a senior role and sold SkyBridge Capital in preparation in January.

He was blocked by Reince Priebus, Trump’s chief of staff. But, after an aggressive campaign, Scaramucci was made communications director on June 21 by Trump, prompting Sean Spicer to quit.

A second source close to Scaramucci — who has alternately not been wearing his wedding ring, or has been sporting it on his right hand — said the former couple had fought over his loyalty to Trump. This was his second marriage and Ball was noticeably not present at his recent SALT conference in mid-May.

The source said, “Deidre is not a fan of Trump, and she hasn’t exactly been on board and supportive of Anthony and his push to get back into the White House.”

The friend added, “Anthony is focusing on his children, his work for the president and the American people. There is nothing more important to him.

“I don’t know who Deidre thought she was marrying but anyone who knows Anthony knows he’s an ambitious man.”

According to reports, University of Buffalo graduate Ball donated $5,400 to the congressional campaign of anti-Trump Democrat Kathleen Rice in 2015. But she also donated $10,800 to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s presidential campaign and $2,700 to Jeb Bush’s campaign the same year.

She went by the Twitter handle @MrsAScaramucci but, according to reports, she deleted her account after her husband was appointed as White House communications director.

Meanwhile, Scaramucci — who had been known as a slick operator up to this point — showed off a different side of his character during a bizarre late-night interview with the New Yorker, telling reporter Ryan Lizza that he thought Priebus was a “f–king paranoid schizophrenic, a paranoiac.” Then, lacing into White House adviser Steve Bannon, he added, “I’m not Steve Bannon, I am not trying to suck my own c–k.”

He added, “I’m not trying to build my own brand off the f–king strength of the president. I am here to serve the country.”

Ball could not immediately be reached and a rep for “The Mooch” didn’t comment.

Well, that's not accurate. Can't say though for the rest of the article.

Elaine Duke is the new acting DHS secretary after John Kelly was announced as the new White House chief of staff on Friday. (Department of Homeland Security)
With the announcement on Friday that Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly would be taking over from Reince Priebus as the White House chief of staff, a vacancy was left at the top of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

According to the leadership structure of the DHS, the new acting Secretary of Homeland Security is Elaine Duke.

Duke was previously sworn in as the deputy secretary of Homeland Security on April 10 after she was confirmed by the Senate.

In her position as deputy secretary, Duke led “all efforts related to the strategic execution of DHS’s vital missions,” according to her DHS biography.

Duke has served in the federal government for almost three decades, according to her biography, most recently as the department’s undersecretary for management from 2008 to 2010.

Before becoming deputy secretary, Duke was the principal of Elaine Duke & Associates, LLC, where she “provided acquisition and business consulting services to large and small businesses.”

The Senate approved Duke for confirmation as deputy secretary by a vote of 85 to 14, according to Newsweek.

So much for the hope that McCain's tumor was responsible for his left turn.
He's just another pompous ass who went squishy in his old age.

Interesting although the Pundid is citing the NY Times on this, so.... But it rather rings true to me given Priebus' heavy establishment leanings.

No doubt this was a wonderful marriage that fell apart because Scaramucci is now working for the President.

I hope this "article" was at least printed on soft, absorbent paper. It would be nice to have some value.

This is exactly it. Trump had all of the above dems bestowing sainthood on AG Sessions last week. They walked right into it, like Wiley Coyote running off a cliff in pursuit of the Road Runner.

You both vastly underestimate the capacity of the left for hypocrisy and amnesia today about whatever they believed yesterday. They will get their marching orders and off they'll go.

Bingo. I really feel like our government is broken. We will go from administration to administration with no meaningful legislation passed for the good of the people because congress cannot work together. Government will be run by executive orders that will swing wildly depending on the party in power.

President Trump on Saturday threatened to end health care “bailouts” for insurers and lawmakers in Washington as he continues to push Congress to pass legislation repealing ObamaCare.

“If a new HealthCare Bill is not approved quickly, BAILOUTS for Insurance Companies and BAILOUTS for Members of Congress will end very soon!” Trump tweeted Saturday afternoon.

He also tweeted, “After seven years of ‘talking’ Repeal & Replace, the people of our great country are still being forced to live with imploding ObamaCare!”

Trump appears to be talking about cost-sharing subsidies for insurers. Mick Mulvaney, director of the Office of Management and Budget, recently told insurers such subsidies could end.

“We are looking at the cost-sharing payments on a month-to-month basis. We made them today. We'll make them tomorrow,” Mulvaney said, according to the Independent Journal Review. “But I don't think we'll see a long-term commitment from this administration.”

Some conservatives have also been pushing the White House to end subsidies to lawmakers and their employees made possible by an Office of Personnel Management exemption.

“It’s also troubling that the Trump administration used executive powers to bail out insurers but will not use his lawful executive power to end Obama’s order exempting members of Congress from paying the full Obamacare freight,” Daniel Horowitz recently wrote at ConservativeReview.com.

Senate Republicans have repeatedly tried, but failed, to pass legislation that eliminates or overhauls former President Barack Obama’s 2010 health care law.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had hoped to pass a “skinny repeal” measure late Thursday. But when the vote finally took place early Friday morning, three Republicans -- John McCain of Arizona, Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska -- joined with Democrats in opposition, killing the plan.

President Trump is absolutely right
(let the lectures begin)

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/...eal-failure-n2361863

President Trump:

Republican Senate must get rid of 60 vote NOW! It is killing the R Party, allows 8 Dems to control country. 200 Bills sit in Senate. A JOKE!

The very outdated filibuster rule must go. Budget reconciliation is killing R's in Senate. Mitch M, go to 51 Votes NOW and WIN. IT'S TIME!

Republicans in the Senate will NEVER win if they don't go to a 51 vote majority NOW. They look like fools and are just wasting time......

8 Dems totally control the U.S. Senate. Many great Republican bills will never pass, like Kate's Law and complete Healthcare. Get smart!

If the Senate Democrats ever got the chance, they would switch to a 51 majority vote in first minute. They are laughing at R's. MAKE CHANGE!

After seven years of "talking" Repeal & Replace, the people of our great country are still being forced to live with imploding ObamaCare!

If a new HealthCare Bill is not approved quickly, BAILOUTS for Insurance Companies and BAILOUTS for Members of Congress will end very soon!

these guys do not care

why should they

they conned us into voting for them - now its all about themselves and their personal position - the country can go to hell and not one of them will lift a finger

I agree with the President - get rid of the 60 vote rule and get on with it

you have a majority, and all three houses

grow some balls and do your jobs

talking doesn't do a damned thing to these people - they're tone deaf to America

the longer this crap goes on the more likely violence is going to be visited on politicians - proving once again that you can't get their attention until you hurt them physically

From an AP news article:

"The Obama administration used its rule-making authority to set direct payments to insurers to help offset these costs. Trump inherited the payment structure, but he also has the power to end them."

That's a damned big club that President Trump can wield!

whatever you think of Reince Priebus, his exit interviews have been full of class and praise for President Trump.

He also gave a thumbs up to Steve Bannon.

http://www.breitbart.com/big-g...-nationalist-agenda/

“I will say that Steve is doing a great job,” Priebus said in a Friday evening CNN interview after Trump tweeted that former Department of Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly would be the new chief of staff. “He is a brilliant guy who only cares about the president’s agenda. He thinks about it 24 hours a day. Never quits.”

Priebus’ characterization of Bannon is consistent with accounts from former Bannon associates who often wondered if Bannon, known for working around the clock for issues he cares deeply about, ever slept because he cared so much about the nationalist-populist agenda that galvanized Trump’s voters and will be key to Trump’s reelection prospects.

Bannon has a whiteboard in his West Wing office with all of the promises—including building the “border wall”—that Trump made to his voters in 2016.

“My hat is off to Steve Bannon,” Priebus said.

Steve Bannon was the best choice President Trump made when he built his campaign team.
