I believe Trump is just fine with Sessions and all his jumping on Sessions is all fake. Here is a headline today: "Jeff Sessions Stands Firm, Gains Broad Support as Trump Ramps Up Attacks" Sessions gains in popularity and BAM! Soon Sessions drops the bomb on Hillary and Podesta. Perhaps Sessions will even go after Mueller for his role in Hillary's uranium deal. Everything Trump does is cool and calculated. ____________________________________________________ New and improved super concentrated me: Proud rebel, heretic, and Oneness Apostolic Pentecostal. This all started with President Trump setting a meet and greet with three NY Times reporters. At the time, CNN stated on their website: "Many were left wondering: Why did the president agree to this interview?" Link It seemed very deliberate to me. How could three NY Times reporters help but blast it loud and wide. President Trump left several things "off the record" but not his Sessions comments. The new approach to media includes fresh trolling levels. _______________________________ NRA Life Member NRA Certified Range Safety Officer

A general comment, The DEMS are being incredible obstructionists in a variety of ways. http://www.powerlineblog.com/a...uction-continues.php above is a link of just one example of holding up President Trump's nominee for Eighth Circuit of Appeals Another article described the massive obstruction coming from State Dept with Obama appointees. And Ben Carson is alone at HUD. Mitch McConnell is going to have break the DEM senate delay machine and ram the appointments home. This really is getting serious.

This is looking fun and appropriate. Might lead to another special counsel... House Judiciary Committee yesterday struck and replaced HR 446, which was asking for all the materials on the Comey firing with a R amendment requesting DOJ to look into Comey's meeting with Lynch, Comey's decision to not charge Hillary, Comey's knowledge of the Lynch/Clinton tarmac discussion, Comey's knowledge of the Fusion GPS dossier, any and all leaks by Comey (daing back to 1993), Comey's knowledge of the "Uranium One" Deal, Comey's refusal to investigate Hillary's selling access to the State Dept through clinton foundation donations, Huma Abedin's dual employment at State and clinton foundation, collusion between Comey and Mueller, unmasking, etc. full text here - https://imgur.com/a/F7Xuz Apparently, it was done as "a resolution of inquiry" which is a legislative tool that has privileged parliamentary status, meaning it can be brought to the floor if the relevant committee hasn’t reported it within 14 legislative days, even if the Majority leadership has not scheduled it for a vote. So should be able to bypass Ryan... NRA Life Member - "Fear God and Dreadnaught"

LBJ and TigerDore - you seem to be on the right track. Sources: A top FBI lawyer is under an investigation for allegedly leaking classified information By Sara A. Carter July 26, 2017 11:19 AM EDT EXCLUSIVE: FBI General Counsel James A. Baker is purportedly under a Department of Justice criminal investigation for allegedly leaking classified national security information to the media, according to multiple government officials close to the probe who spoke with Circa on the condition of anonymity. FBI spokeswoman Carol Cratty said the bureau would not comment on Baker and would not confirm or deny any investigation. Baker did not return comment when Circa attempted to reach him through the FBI. This comes as Department of Justice Attorney General Jeff Sessions said he would soon be making an announcement regarding the progress of leak investigations. A DOJ official declined to comment on Circa’s inquiry into Baker but did say, the planned announcement by Sessions is part of the overall "stepped up efforts on leak investigations." Three sources, with knowledge of the apparent investigation, told Circa that Baker is the top suspect in an ongoing leak investigation, but Circa has not been able to confirm the details of what national security information or material was allegedly leaked. A federal law enforcement official with knowledge of ongoing internal investigations in the bureau told Circa, "the bureau is scouring for leakers and there's been a lot of investigations." The revelation comes as the Trump administration has ramped up efforts to contain leaks both within the White House and within its own national security apparatus. Baker is a close confidant of former FBI Director James Comey, and recent media reports suggested he was reportedly advising the then-FBI director on legal matters following private meetings the former director had in February with President Trump in the Oval Office. Baker was appointed to the FBI's general counsel by Comey in 2014 and has had a long and distinguished history within the intelligence community. After working as a federal prosecutor in the Criminal Division of the Department of Justice during the 1990s, he joined the Office of Intelligence Policy and Review In 1996, according to his FBI bio. In 2006 Baker received the George H.W. Bush Award for Excellence in counter-terrorism—the CIA’s highest counter-terrorism award, according to his biography. During Baker's long and distinguished career he received the "NSA’s Intelligence Under Law Award; the NSA Director’s Distinguished Service Medal; and DOJ’s highest award— the Edmund J. Randolph Award." He is a fellow at the Institute of Politics at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and a lecturer at Harvard Law School. https://www.circa.com/story/20...rmation-to-the-media NRA Life Member - "Fear God and Dreadnaught"

Is it just me, or is there a splendid irony here? Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me. When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson "Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

This is a start: The Republican-led House has voted to make a $1.6 billion down payment for President Donald Trump’s long-promised wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. The vote was 230-196. Republican leaders avoided voting directly on the divisive issue Thursday. Instead, they tucked the wall provision into a broader procedural vote. Trump promised at nearly every rally and campaign event that Mexico would pay for the wall. Mexico said no, and U.S. taxpayers will have to provide the money. Democrats said they might have defeated the wall if they’d been given a chance. It’s unpopular with more moderate Republicans and those representing districts with large immigrant communities. Money for the wall is part of a broader $788 billion spending bill funding defense and veterans programs. ___ 12:38 p.m. The GOP-controlled House is plowing ahead on legislation to give the Pentagon a massive spending boost. It would also deliver a $1.6 billion down payment for President Donald Trump’s oft-promised wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. In advancing the huge $788 billion bill, Republicans are trying to both ease a large backlog of unfinished spending bills and give both themselves and Trump political wins heading into the August recess. Trump is pushing for a sweeping increase for the Pentagon and commensurate cuts of more than $50 billion, or 10 percent, from domestic agencies and foreign aid. House Republicans are responding by adding even more for defense but have significantly scaled back Trump’s cuts to domestic programs like community development grants and medical research. http://www.breitbart.com/news/...ent-for-trumps-wall/

Interesting take, something this guy considers: "It doesn't make sense. Rush Limbaugh was pondering this on his radio show. He was puzzled. Trump blasting Sessions, Sessions smiling and saying everything is fine in his world – what's wrong with this picture? What if this is all one big distraction? A charade? A magic trick? Famous magicians Penn and Teller have seven principles of magic. One such principle is misdirection – to lead attention away from a secret move. Suppose the Trump-Sessions feud is a magic trick, distracting the media while he pulls a rabbit out of his hat? The media is breathless over Trump's next move. Fire Sessions? Fire Mueller? What will his voters say? What will Congress do? Will they begin impeachment proceedings? Will there be a coup against the president, as former CIA director John Brennan suggests? Is this a grand distraction and illusion? Everyone's watching Trump's right hand while he grabs the missing playing card in his left hand, ready to pull it out of the magic hat. While the feud is playing out in the media, the Department of Justice is getting stuff done: cracking down on sanctuary cities, ramping up leak investigations, slowing illegal immigration. Who knows what else? What if this is all a show, and Sessions is in on it? The White House press secretary and communications director may be part of the act as well, publicly playing into the president's dissatisfaction with Sessions and suggesting that he will be canned – "pouring gasoline on the Trump-Sessions fire," as the Washington Post described Sarah Huckabee Sanders's assessment. It's the grand illusion: watch the feud while Sessions is running through the Trump checklist, cracking heads and taking no prisoners. As a bonus, the media as well as Democrats and NeverTrump Republicans are rushing to Jeff Sessions's defense. The guy who just a few months ago was a Klansman, a white supremacist, a racist, a bigot, a homophobe is now a victim, worthy of sympathy and support from the left. Where does that leave his fair-weather supporters when he starts enforcing the laws his two predecessors ignored for the past eight years? Trump just led them into a box that will not be easy to climb out of. In six months, how can Jeff Sessions go from being Hitler to a sympathetic victim, then back to Hitler?" http://www.americanthinker.com...one_big_charade.html "I’m not going to read Time Magazine, I’m not going to read Newsweek, I’m not going to read any of these magazines; I mean, because they have too much to lose by printing the truth"- Bob Dylan, 1965

I am sure this is what it is. I know this from simple observation of past trolling by Trump. How the media cannot see this is beyond me. But it is a good thing they cannot figure this out. I guess the problem for the media is that everything Trump does seems so personally offensive to them, they are blind to the obvious. ____________________________________________________ New and improved super concentrated me: Proud rebel, heretic, and Oneness Apostolic Pentecostal. Piece of cake. With the hyperhypocrisy that powers Washington DC (that "sinister energy force" some talk about), no problem. You can go from the most hated man in town to the most powerful and back in no time. Ask Jim Comey. Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
