Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Thursday said during an event in Kentucky that if GOP senators fail to reach an agreement on a bill that can get 50 votes in the chamber, they would have to work with the other party on a way to stabilize the Obamacare insurance markets.
Do it Mitchie and your majority in the senate (and maybe even the House) with evaporate. This GOP garbage was given a specific mandate about Barrycare, and they're damned and determined to completely ignore it and screw all of us. I hate this no-neck, lying, MF, and I rarely ever use the words 'hate' or 'MF' in public.

While I was out briefly this afternoon running an errand, I had a thought.

How would it be if The Donald obtained for every male member of his staff, one or more ties from Moscow?

Then they get back to the WH and have "Russian Tie Day," every week or so.

Mocking seems to be in fashion these days.

All part of the GOPe plan and strategy. They have completely misread the mood and intent of the people who sent Trump to the white house.

Look who we have, McConnell in the senate and Ryan in the house. They are both in those positions because of inside wheeling and dealing.

Look what happened to that upstart conservative move in the House! Ryan, and Co. killed it.

Both of those assholes need to be out of office, but ain't gonna happen any time soon. Ryan was just re-elected, AIR, and McNuttin is not up for re-election in time to make any real changes.

And even when they are up for reelection there will be no serious primary contender so they will sail to the GOP nomination. So who will we vote for in the general? POS #1 who hates you and wants to take your guns, or POS #2 who hates you but says you can keep your guns? These jackasses have locked themselves into a life on the gravy train without having to make any real change or take any real risks and they know it.

TERM LIMITS.

He doesn't even have to dispatch an Air Force transport to get them.

https://www.zazzle.com/russian+ties. Over 1,000 different ones. Economical, too. Even the Assistant Undersecretaries can afford them.

All the Russian ties anyone could ever want!

Maybe even send a selection over to CNN, while they are still in business.

Maybe a SIGforum group buy effort and have ties shipped to the WH with a nice note.

If this grows legs, I will see if people can "Buy a Tie" and each have a note enclosed, then ship them in a single package.

MAGA!

Department of Veterans Affairs officials have fired more than 500 misbehaving employees since January, according to data posted online Friday.

VA Secretary David Shulkin touted his agency's decision to publish its efforts to hold VA employees accountable, unveiling new requirements for updating the public on personnel actions.

The VA has removed 526 employees since Jan. 20, according to the accountability report released on Friday. Agency officials have demoted another 27 employees and temporarily suspended an additional 194 employees for longer than two weeks. The list does not include the employees' names but shows their positions.

remember way back to the inauguration day riots?

this is the first one I have seen that got settled.

Dane Powell sentenced to confinement for 36 mos, but all but 4 mos suspended

http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017...ation-day-riots.html

A Tampa man was sentenced to four months in jail Friday after participating in an inauguration day riot that injured six police officers and cost tens of thousands of dollars in damages in Washington D.C.

Dane Powell, 31, was captured on video carrying a black flag while throwing rocks and bricks at D.C. police officers and shattering store windows during the 30-minute riot that spanned 16 city blocks, prosecutors said. He was also dressed in black and had part of his face covered.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jennifer Kerkhoff said Powell was spotted in Logan Circle the day before President Trump's inauguration with gas masks and carrying the same black flag seen in the video, the Tampa Bay Times reported.

Kerkhoff called Powell "among the most violent" of the defendants that participated in the riot.

"He was throwing rocks and bricks at windows where people, customers and children were inside," she said. "He charged the police line with bricks."

Powell's attorney Ashley Jones told the court her client, who spent nine years in the Army, did not travel to D.C. to riot, but to protest peacefully. She also blamed police officers for inciting violence.

"Mr. Powell's motivation was to protest the inauguration," Jones said. "And during that protest he got carried away."

The G20 Summit is typically attended by not only heads of state, but also foreign ministers and finance ministers. Also typically present are leaders from guest nations, who aren't G20 members, but who are invited to the summit anyway. Representatives from other organizations, like the UN, World Trade Organization, World Bank, and International Monetary Fund, are invited to attend as well.

Because she wants to be Mr. Burns when she grows up.

I'm surprised Putin would let himself be photographed in this way - sandwiched between two much taller leaders. He's usually more savvy than that.
