I never watched or looked at the news while Bammers was in office, out of sight out of mind and all.

Is it normal for the media to be so obsessed with the president? This is their homepage, literally every single article is about the Donald.

I'm betting it was just coincidence that Cinemax was playing All The President's Men over the weekend.

Rod Rosenstein (US Deputy Attorney General) on Monday:

"Many people have offered me unsolicited advice over the past few days about what I should do to promote my personal reputation,"

"I took an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. There is nothing in that oath about my reputation. If you ask me, one of the main problems in Washington, D.C., is everybody is so busy running around trying to protect their reputation instead of protecting the republic, which is what they're supposed to be doing."

He said a friend sent him a text message after the memo on Comey was released, urging him to "get out of there."

"I responded to my friend and I said, 'There is no place I would rather be,'" Rosenstein said.

"What is courage in government? It certainly includes standing on principle, ignoring the tyranny of the news cycle, resisting the urge to spin, remaining focused on the things that matter. The daily newspapers and endless talk shows are not the verdict of history."

My blackout began around 2:00 am on November 9th after they WOULD NOT admit that Trump had in fact defeated their Queen Hillary. It was completely disgusting to watch them just ignore it like that would change anything. Even MSNBC had conceded by this point that Trump had pulled it off. F*CK CNN

We... they had nothing but fawning praise for Obummer.
No, it's not "normal" but what's "normal" for the media?

One thing's for sure:
They really want to take him down.

Trump must be impeached. Here’s why.
By Laurence H. Tribe

Laurence H. Tribe is Carl M. Loeb University Professor and Professor of Constitutional Law at Harvard Law School.

The time has come for Congress to launch an impeachment investigation of President Trump for obstruction of justice.

The remedy of impeachment was designed to create a last-resort mechanism for preserving our constitutional system. It operates by removing executive-branch officials who have so abused power through what the framers called “high crimes and misdemeanors” that they cannot be trusted to continue in office.

Comey Memo Says Trump Asked Him to End Flynn Investigation

President Trump asked the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, to shut down the federal investigation into Mr. Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, in an Oval Office meeting in February, according to a memo Mr. Comey wrote shortly after the meeting.

“I hope you can let this go,” the president told Mr. Comey, according to the memo.

The existence of Mr. Trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the Justice Department and F.B.I. investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia.

Mr. Comey wrote the memo detailing his conversation with the president immediately after the meeting, which took place the day after Mr. Flynn resigned, according to two people who read the memo. The memo was part of a paper trail Mr. Comey created documenting what he perceived as the president’s improper efforts to influence a continuing investigation. An F.B.I. agent’s contemporaneous notes are widely held up in court as credible evidence of conversations.

Mr. Comey shared the existence of the memo with senior F.B.I. officials and close associates.

Why didn't Comey provide that to the DOJ management, DAG, AG at the time? Surely, it ought to have been.

So what if Trump told the Rooskies ISIS will use anything to take down airplanes with laptops or by any means possible. Even Jethro Bodine knows this fact. Big deal if Trump told Ivan about terrorist plans.

The truth lies in the Libs refusal to accept the will of the American people in wanting change. We are the "flyover states" the elites look down on. They will never join in helping get this country back in shape. Trump won, the Hidabeast lost. EOS! Go President Trump!

The Comey/Flynn/nyt's thing is just a diversion in anticipation of next week's Mid East trip.

The Arab states in the Gulf have extended a finger (pinkie) to Israel. That did not happen out-of-the-blue and it has never happened before until now. That takes time and consideration, and it ain't because of Schumer and his Grand Plan, which more and more looks like a Wendy's double stack burger.

Expect more diversions all through this week and the next. Expect forward movement on the Israeli question, which the media will strive to divert attention from.

There are probably many leak sources, but perhaps Comey and his buddies are part of the massive deep state attempt at destabilizing the Trump administration.

Would explain why Comey was so reluctant to identify any of the leak sources.

I don't get that at all? If Russia knew of a terrorist threat, or Great Britain, or France, or Uganda then I hope they'd share it with us.

Trump is getting bashed for trying to save lives now?

Shhhh don't let anyone in on the secret, a number of European countries and Arab countries already knew of the threat, otherwise why would they ban laptops? Did they all independently come up with an idea at the exact same time to make life more difficult or was there some kind of intelligence they were acting on. If it were only United I believe the former, but since it's many airlines and many countries, it's probably the latter.

Fucking imbeciles.

Have any leak sources ever been publicly identified, since Deep Throat ~30 years after the fact?
