I was specifically referencing the Resolute Desk, that Obama stuck his feet on all the time. It's not a replica, it's a priceless antique.

The sofa is just a piece of furniture that was brought in by a designer and is probably just a few years old - nothing special about it.

I offer another observation about the couch...
With the angle and thigh depth of the seat, height of the chair legs, and length of her outfit, I offer it as intelligent and modest to choose to sit like that in a room full of people.

From my experiences in theater production many moons past, they would have gotten a heck of a show whether she sat or tried to stand, no matter how hard she tried. Those are some rough angles to work out.

Whether this is of intent or not, it sure as hell shouldn't be "trending" or newsworthy.

Newsworthy should be that 10 Massachusetts State Police K9s are all getting vests from an anonymous donor. THAT is something sharable and newsworthy in my world...0

"Rep. Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., for instance, is planning to ditch his years-long tradition of standing at the edge of the aisle to shake the president's hand."

Engel has a bit of inflated self importance.

I will be surprised if there aren't several occasions tonight when various DEMs try to verbally attack/criticize President Trump.

Was referring to the media's fake outrage of Kellyanne knelling on the sofa.

I am so sick and gd tired of this "show me your taxes" bullshit. IDGAFF what ANYONE'S tax return says other than my own!! Does ANYONE with half a brain think that Donald J. Trump doesn't have an ARMY of CPA's and tax attorneys doing his taxes?? Good friggin' GOD!!! If I had that much money, I'd certainly hire said army and tell them, "Keep me from getting audited or YOU'RE FIRED!"

Debris yes, but the boards and bricks, fireplaces, doorways, etc were taken out piece by piece, numbered and put back once the steel structure was in place, according to the account I read.

There were some changes. A stairway was re-arranged to come down in a more suitable spot, etc.

Wikipedia has many details.

When you had the votes, we did things your way. Now, we have the votes and you will be doing things our way. This lesson in political reality from Lyndon B. Johnson

"Some things are apparent. Where government moves in, community retreats, civil society disintegrates and our ability to control our own destiny atrophies. The result is: families under siege; war in the streets; unapologetic expropriation of property; the precipitous decline of the rule of law; the rapid rise of corruption; the loss of civility and the triumph of deceit. The result is a debased, debauched culture which finds moral depravity entertaining and virtue contemptible." - Justice Janice Rogers Brown

Inside Trump's Secret Dinner: A Side of the President You Don't Ever See

Nice article about President Trump getting out of the White House for dinner at his own hotel, at the "BLT Steakhouse".

http://ijr.com/2017/02/810965-...-no-one-is-watching/

The media narrative is that Trump is deeply unpopular....this article blows a hole in that one. Normal, rational people are thrilled to have a president that loves this country and wants to get things back on track.

The "BLT Steakhouse" sounds like a place that I'd enjoy. As a guy that gets flamed here because I like my steaks medium well, with A-1 sauce, I really liked this part:

“The President ordered a well-done steak. An aged New York strip. He ate it witch [SIC] catsup as he always does …”

Wasn't Hannity saying today that Kellyanne sat that way because she was taking the photo? Looks to me that she was trying to keep her legs and feet out of the photo.

Is President Trump perfect, does he always speak eloquently, the answer is no. I too am looking forward to hearing him speak to us tonight. The American people finally have a President who is qualified and capable to do what is right for this United States of America.

I am looking forward to seeing more lib's heads implode and explode after his speech as well!

pelosi said President Trump has “done nothing.”

President Trump's comment back:

“Well, I’ve been watching Nancy’s statements, and I think she’s incompetent, actually,”

“You know if you look at what’s going on with the Democrats and the party, it’s getting smaller and smaller. You know, in a certain way I hate to see it because I like a two-party system. And we’re soon going to have a one-party system. I actually think a two-party system is healthy and good. But she’s done a terrible job.”
