Drudge Headline:

Intel to invest $7 billion in factory in Arizona, employ 3,000

http://www.cnbc.com/2017/02/08...-brian-krzanich.html

Intel chief executive Brian Krzanich met with President Donald Trump on Wednesday, where the company announced it will invest $7 billion in a factory employing up to 3,000 people.

The factory will be in Chandler, Arizona, the company said, and over 10,000 people in the Arizona area will support the factory. Krzanich confirmed to CNBC that the investment over the next three to four years would be to complete a previous plant, Fab 42, that was started and then left vacant.

The 7 nanometer chips will be produced there will be "the most powerful computer chips on the planet," Krzanich said in the Oval Office with the Trump administration. Most Intel manufacturing happens in the U.S., Krzanich said.

Trump's Tweet from earlier today:

"My daughter Ivanka has been treated so unfairly by Nordstrom. She is a great person who is always pushing me to do the right thing! Terrible!"

Uh....come on Donald.

The Pres. should keep his mouth shut about things like Nordstrom, etc. It is out of place for a President to go there in public. A boo-boo in my way of thinking.

I respectfully disagree.

Too many times, ALL THE TIME, in the past the leftist ass-holes have gotten away with their hypocrisy and bullshit if for no other reason than we, the right, have had too much class to point out the truth.

There is no reward for being a gentleman when dealing with the left. There is no upside.

Therefore we must call them out on it each and every time we encounter it.

No more double standards.

Thanks,

Sap

Agreed.

All the handwringing over "woulda, shoulda, coulda" on comments don't control the narrative. The "being the bigger man" syndrome have done nothing but allow the left to control the narrative.

The disconnect is the fact that people worry about "don't give them anything" to talk negatively about. That has been a massive failure. When the left doesn't have something to paint us in a bad light about, they make it up. That narrative too often goes unchecked and becomes reality.

SapperSteel is right.

We were told to leave obama's children alone.

What has the (D) done, they accused Barron of some awful thing and now this bullcrap with Ivanka.

The (D) need to be called out on every riot, every outrage, every obscene and vile thing they do.

Looks like Team Trump just made Iran blink

By Post Editorial Board February 7, 2017 | 7:23pm | Updated

It looks like Iran just blinked in the face of tough talk — and new economic sanctions — from the Trump administration.

Fox News reports that new satellite imagery, verified by US officials, shows Iran has abruptly removed a new missile that was being prepared for launch as recently as Friday.

It was a long-range Safir missile — a class that Tehran last launched into space two years ago, and that uses the same components as those needed for an intercontinental ballistic missile.

The images showed a flurry of activity, including a host of visitors, on the launchpad Feb. 3, the day the missile was first spotted.

Then, on Tuesday, the missile was gone.

Perhaps it was a technical problem — but the timing suggests otherwise. On Jan. 29, recall, Iran launched a new type of medium-range ballistic missile capable of reaching all of Europe, in defiance of UN Security Council resolutions.

Last Thursday, the Trump administration announced it was putting Iran “on notice.” And on Friday — the same day the new missile was first seen — Washington announced sanctions against 25 individuals and companies involved in Iran’s ballistic missile program.

That was a response unlike anything Tehran saw in eight years under President Barack Obama — whose State Department routinely issued reports critical of Iran, but turned a blind eye to the Islamic Republic’s nefarious behavior, not to mention its repeated violations of the sweetheart nuclear deal.

It’s a sign that for Iran, the days of wine and roses — and blind-eye treatment — are over. And perhaps an even more welcome sign that tough talk, combined with tough action, really does work.

How's that working out for you Nordstrom's Wink

Retail department store Nordstrom’s decision last week to cut first daughter Ivanka Trump’s fashion line has sparked a tremendous backlash from consumers—especially women—who say the company’s move has led them to boycott the store and cut up their Nordstrom’s cards.
Nordstrom’s claimed that the Ivanka Trump brand wasn’t performing well, but industry insiders tell Breitbart News that’s just not accurate. Nordstrom’s decision to mislead the public on why they are stopping carrying the Ivanka Trump brand is part of the fury out there among its longtime customers, who tell Breitbart News they’re cutting up their Nordstrom’s cards and won’t shop at the store anymore. Some even say they plan to return all their recent purchases.

Absofuckinglutely.

When Bush was president he endured being called stupid, lame, weak, a fuck up and more. And it went downhill from there. Remember the movie some asswipe made about the assassination of George Bush? After 8 years of ass kissing the magic negro, and muching the bush of the wicked witch the media and the dems should be called on every item. Every damn one.

The defense would have better come from a third party - a friend, perhaps.

President Trump should stick to defending the country. That is hard enough to keep on track.

Besides, Ivanka is out of the business. Isn't she? And, I read that the sales of her line were strong despite the pressure.

There are those trying to harm any and all of the Trumps. Although he would naturally want to defend his daughter, it just pursues another detour from the agenda he is trying to pursue for us.

Oh well. This kind of thing was said of him was during his campaign too but he won. Even so, until Bannon and Kellyanne, he would not stay to his message sometimes and it seemed to cost him.

Loyalty and sticking up for his people are part of the Trump charm.

Tubetone, your post above is uncharacteristically conflicted. Lots of mixed messages in there.

Thanks,

Dunno about that. Going back to the campaign I thought many times it was ill advised to say some of the crazy things he said. I'd be like... He's done it now!!
But now, I go to Twitter of Facebook and up-vote or like all his comments on a daily basis.
I have decided he knows exactly what he is doing, and who am I to question it.

Get on the Trump Train or get run over!

Another company trying to backtrack:

As the controversy grew, 84 Lumber CEO Maggie Hardy Magerko appeared to walk back any perceived opposition to a border wall and President Trump. She said the ad “was not meant to be pro-immigration or a political statement at all” and that she is “a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump,” who thinks a border wall “is a need.”

I agree with Trump tweeting to assholes and morons - calling them out on it

it means he's paying attention and has little affinity for bullshit

he's simply doing the right thing which is not giving anyone any room to be a prick

its time people stood up for themselves - the President is still a person
