If there wasn’t any viability to it somewhere big pharma would not have and spend
billions lobbying against it in one aspect or another. IMO

It, like Ashawaganda root will reduce cortisol. This has been clinically proven.
Although this is a longer term effect from continual use.

The oil I got from Joy Organics is Broad Spectrum. It has all the benefits of Full but went through a little extra processing to remove the remaining THC.

I have been taking 15mg of CBD twice a day. I worked a double shift and forgot to pack it. I missed my morning dose and I feel a little more pain in my back today. Dont know if that qualifies as results.

How do reduced/raised cortisol levels affect someone?

correct
"The main difference between full spectrum and broad spectrum is a full spectrum product is a CBD oil product that contains other cannabinoids including THC and it contains terpenes and flavonoids. A broad-spectrum product is basically the same thing but without the THC. So that's the major difference."

but I also mentioned 3/10ths of 1% is the content of THC. No psycho topic effects.
The isolates are a waste of money like taking too much vitamin c, after your body absorbed all it can or needs the rest is pee'd out...

Consider it a karma and pay it forward sometime. Shoot me an email with your shipping address and I’ll send it out.

That is much appreciated. I’ll send you an email.

Thanks for all the input folks. Had to swing into the pharmacy today for my boy so I talked to them about it.
This is an independent, compounding, full blown pharmacy only not a big box shop or any anything like that. These folks know their stuff and I won’t use any other pharmacy. They are there to provide quality care and products and have been in business for quite some time not to just make a buck. She was very supportive of it and uses it herself. They are only open a couple hours on Saturdays and were rather busy so I am going to swing by next week and she is going to drop the knowledge on me.

The stuff they sell in particular is all US derived, and all from Kentucky. Each bottle has a QR code on it you scan and it links you to the full breakdown of the product by an independent 3rd party lab (taken with a grain of salt as I am sure they are paid to test the samples).
But any way this is a good point to start the education and discuss with my grandparents.

Apparently that's the point - it seems to take pretty specialized testing to distinguish between the two; certainly testing that is unavailable to a street cop and both difficult and expensive for local prosecutors to make use of.

Fine by me - everyone else seems to believe that there's a difference between government coercion and negotiating with the government, so I guess I do too.

From the quick peek I took online when I first saw smithnsig's post, it seems to be what feeds the "fight or flight" instinct.

Buyer beware. If it was not said already, the fed ain’t touching it. And Massachusetts at least won’t either, yet mass does regulate pot. Stupid politicians. One more time, all together now.., STOOPID POLITICIANS!

You must vet your source.

Most CBD products from outside the US are totally suspect and won’t pass even a basic heavy metal test.

I can attest to salves, it does meet the same level of pain relief as a salve as aspercreme or cortisone for my needs.

Good luck.

Our Aussie had 2 ACL surgeries years ago, didn’t recover liked we hoped, kind of hobbled around the house, had him on tramadol, that helped some, tried some CBD from a pet source company. He still limps some, but no where near where he did before, gets up and down pretty quickly now, improved appetite, I consider it a win. Use a dropper, about 3/4 full one time a day.

I vape the herb. Calming effects for me, got off Xanax (1mg 4 times a day). I take 1 50 mg capsule daily. This does help my arthritis & gives me a restful nights sleep.

I dare not leave the house with the herb, looks exactly like pot. The suppliers include paper work & 3rd party lab results...still, looks exactly like weed. I’m sure the K9 could give a rats ass about paperwork & the man is right there, busted.

My almost 15 year old corgi has arthritis in his left front shoulder. He was on tramadol and carprofen. The pain was “tolerable” but he wasn’t happy and couldn’t move well. I tried CBD and in three days saw great improvement. Our dog trainer, ACO, and our vet agreed. He’s more alert and moves better.
Now the rest of the story. I ran out of brand of CBD and got another brand. Three days later, he was hurting. My 3 year old is noise sensitive. I’ve tried her on three brands and nothing changes. Point is, there variation in the brands and CBD doesn’t work for every dog.
I’ve tried CBD for myself. Two brands of drops, nada. Tried capsules and doubled up. Found some minor improvement. Found more improvement with core exercise and stretching.

I cannot dispute that many people poo-poo CBD oil and it’s benefits. I have had three spinal surgeries and could probably fashion a knife outta my parts! I self medicated with alcohol, for years and by the Grace of God put that down after many years. I refused Opiates as my addictive personality might fall in love.

I tried CBD with the utmost of skepticism, and found a real- life relief from pain and insomnia from chronic pain. It has also been a benefit for my 75 year young Mother in law with fibromyalgia.

I will not advertise any specific “brand” as there has been a few I have tried and I will continue to use it as needed. I am amazed still that it is almost 2020 and we as a people turn our noses up on things that are readily available for us with such fear and skepticism. Same for Mary Jane. I’ll stop here Wink

Are you basing this on personal experience or simple uninformed opinion?

People who I have much respect for, and are overall pretty skeptical about everything, have found life changing benefits.
