A mild embarrassment for McAuliffe and Elias (it's all relative when you're utterly shameless), but I'm not sure how big a piece of the puzzle it is.

quote:
Democrat Terry McAuliffe's Virginia Campaign Accidentally Emails FOX News To 'Kill' Story On Hiring An Election Lawyer
Jake Lahut, Buisness Insider, Oct. 29, 2021

The hotly contested Virginia governor's race has gotten close to wall-to-wall coverage on Fox News over the past month, but an error over email gave the network a different story than what the news team was tracking down in the first place. Democrat Terry McAuliffe, a former Virginia governor, is running against Republican challenger Glenn Youngkin as Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam - best knows for his 2019 blackface scandal - is set to leave office, since Virginia does not allow its governors to serve consecutive terms.

Tyler O'Neil, an editor at Fox News, sent the McAuliffe campaign a standard request for comment over email on Thursday. The McAuliffe campaign had recently hired Marc Elias, a go-to Democratic attorney with experience in election law and contested ballot counts. O'Neil reached out to ask if Elias was hire for a potential court challenge to the election, given that Youngkin has partially embraced some of former President Donald Trump's disproven election fraud lies (sic - IC) and may challenge the results.

In response, a McAuliffe campaign staffer mistakenly included the Fox editor on a reply email asking "Can we kill this?"

It did not take long for O'Neil to write up a standalone story (link provided in the original text - IC) on the email snafu for the Fox News website. McAuliffe's campaign did not give any other response on the record, according to Fox. The McAuliffe staffer who sent the email did not respond to Insider's request for comment.

During the 2020 presidential race, the Biden campaign hired election lawyers in preparation for the Trump team challenging the results of the election in several states. Elias represented Democrats in Texas that year.

Some compression for space; gratuitous swipe at Trump excised, full original text at http://www.yahoo.com/news/demo...paign-153600816.html

Bunch of demoKKKrat staffers including a black dude - who apparently is the black face of white supremacy and a chick that's dressed like a dude Roll Eyes

Holding unlit tiki torches, in the rain.

Edit: are we sure they're not FBI agents that work as demoKKKrat staffers?

They're trying to smear Youngkin as being a racist and trying make it seem that he was connected to the Charlottesville protest.

Yeah, apparently some of the people at Charlottesville were carrying tiki torches. Still, I'm not sure the "message" really comes across, particularly since all the torches are out and they look like a crew from the local pest control service.

Have you ever seen FBI agent's standing out in the rain in soaked shirts? Sugar melts, baby.

The Lincoln Project has taken credit for the fake tiki torch demonstration today. This is the fake republican grifter group who trashes Trump and any other successful republican.

“Today’s demonstration was our way of reminding Virginians what happened in Charlottesville four years ago, the Republican Party’s embrace of those values, and Glenn Youngkin’s failure to condemn it.

thanks for posting that mbinky. I have alerted the Youngkin campaign

Lincoln Project : Steve Schmidt, Rick Wilson, Reed Galen, Joe Trippi, etc

grifters sucking off DEM support

They attack anything related to Trump. In reality they are being funded by radical liberals and DEMs

This was a double trap. First, the phony torch bearers. Conservatives attacked McAuliffe campaign.

Second, Lincoln Project says "oh no, it was us not McAuliffe". McAuliffe campaign whines about being "falsely" charged

Did I mention McAuliffe has hired Marc Elias ?

These cheaters and liars are sophisticated.

The whole tiki torch thing just shows how desperate these Democrats really are with just a few days to go, I think McAuliffe is going to lose pretty badly.

Once they started talking openly about how they “own“ your children and you shouldn’t have any say in their education and how they’ve been trashing parents as terrorists, that it’s for him.

Or their way of further shielding Democrats who want to take cheap shots at conservative candidates.

separating kids from parents is a totalitarian and socialist tactic. I think Terry lost the #radicalmiddle with his comments and the polls reflect that

Just in Time for the Election: Alleged ISIS Terror Threat Prompts Beefed up Security in Northern Virginia

Law enforcement agencies are on alert for an potential ISIS terror attack on shopping malls or shopping centers located in the Washington, D.C. suburbs of Northern Virginia this weekend.

The alert comes days before Virginians go to the polls in Tuesday’s closely watched election for governor between Republican Glenn Youngkin and Democrat Terry McAuliffe.

CBS’ Catherine Herridge reported that the threat comes as al Qaeda and ISIS have ramped up calls for lone wolf attacks since the Biden administration’s retreat from Afghanistan in August.

Fox News host and Marine veteran Johnny “Joey” Jones posted a copy of an email from an undisclosed source that was sent out Friday warning of two ISIS operatives targeting shopping centers in the Alexandria and Woodbridge areas of Northern Virginia.

I have no idea about the terror threats in NOVA. A few days ago I talked to a guy in the NCARNG. He went to drill at Ft Pickett. It’s a mess. Afghans walking all over the base. He and his unit were only allowed on the range and where they slept. The Afghans were taking up all of the billeting, the old “white elephant” squad bay type buildings. He talked to some of the security there and they said there have been multiple knife attacks and other assaults. He was told if they walk off base they won’t be stopped but they are not allowed back on. They are all waiting for their free relocation and .gov subsidies.

So a terror attack? We are setting ourselves up for one.

Afghan refugees at Fort Pickett Divide Blackstone

BLACKSTONE – Mayor Billy Coleburn says the town was told that the roughly 5,700 Afghan refugees being brought to its military base, Fort Pickett, would only be there temporarily.

Now, they’ve been there for six weeks. And, despite the stir their presence has caused, very few have seen them.

“What’s happening is, the week before they arrived, (Democratic U.S. Senator) Mark Warner was here and said, ‘It’ll be 3-5 days.’ He was making a campaign stop, and he said, without prodding from the audience, he said this will be only a way station, you’re not going to have a long-standing settlement.”

https://cardinalnews.org/2021/...t-divide-blackstone/

Now as far as "Divide Blackstone" I do not see how that is possible. I like Blackstone. We used to go up there and shoot tank gunnery a bunch. I used to call that town "the land that time forgot". Good people, good hospitality, good food, just plain America. And they had a great tank range.

I cannot see the good folks of Blackstone taking kindly to thousands of Afghan refugees. I see no divide on that issue.

Perhaps the posted link from Kimber1911 is why about the time of posting it I kept getting prodded by thoughts of getting out of bed, pulling out my M9 and loading magazines....I'm in Fairfax Co.
